Chapter 1

Ch- FIRST ENCOUNTER

So the story start from where Sayansh got attack by his enemies and is heavily injured However he escaped from them but was injure

On the otherside a girl was returning to her home after night shift and encounter him

And that girl was Saya, who is heading home after her night shift and stumbles upon Sayansh—who badly injured, but somehow managing to escape his enemies. The night is dark, the streets are quiet, and as Saya walks down a shadowy alley, she notices a figure slumped against a wall, bleeding heavily.

Saya was thinking to herself as she approaches cautiously: "What... is this? Who would be out here in this state?"

As she gets closer, the faint moonlight reveals the blood-soaked figure. Her heart skips a beat as she recognizes the face—Sayansh Khurrana, the infamous mafia king, the man she’s only ever heard about in hushed whispers.

Saya: "What... happened to you?"

Meanwhile, Sayansh, despite the pain, is aware of her presence and, with a gritted jaw, responds in his signature cold, commanding tone:

Sayansh said, "Don’t just stand there. Help me, or I’ll make sure you regret it."

Saya who was standing frozen for a moment, heart racing, but then her medical instincts kicking in, she said,"You’re not making this easy, are you?"

She quickly scans the surroundings, seeing the danger, the blood, the cold night air. She looks at Sayansh’s bleeding wounds—deep, life-threatening.

With a sigh of resignation, she moves closer to him, trying to keep her composure despite the surge of adrenaline in her veins.

Saya said: "You’re lucky I’m a doctor and not just a civilian. But don’t think for a second I’m doing this for you. I’m doing it because it’s my job."

She gets to work, tearing off a piece of her coat to stem the bleeding, setting aside her hesitation. Her hands are steady, but in the back of her mind, questions linger. Why is he here? Who did this to him? And more importantly, why does she feel a strange pull toward helping someone like him

Sayansh gritted his teeth, his voice cold despite the blood pooling around him : "You think this is about me being 'lucky'? Don’t flatter yourself. I’m here because I don’t have a choice."

As Saya works, he glances up at her, his gaze piercing, filled with both pain and a dangerous kind of intensity. His chest rises and falls with shallow breaths as he tries to stay conscious, but the weight of the blood loss is evident.

His voice barely above a whisper: "You should’ve just walked away... But now you’re involved. You’ll regret this... when the time comes."

Despite his harsh words, there’s a flicker of something in his eyes—something she might recognize as vulnerability. But it’s quickly masked, replaced by the same cold, calculating king of the streets he’s always been.

" Like I'm dying to save you, if I was not a doctor I might have walk away but I am doctor all patients are same for me it's my responsibility to save my patient and it was you who asked me for help"She says coldly without looking at him

Sayansh narrowed his eyes, a faint chuckle escaping despite the pain : "A doctor, huh? You think you're saving me? I don’t need saving. I need survival. That’s all.and I asked you I need to survive "

He winces as she presses on the wound, but his gaze never leaves her, studying her every movement, intrigued despite himself.

Sayansh voice was low, his tone was darkening as he says : "You should know... people like me... we don’t get saved. We take what we want, and when we fall, we make sure to drag others down with us."

He leans back against the wall, his body refusing to let him move any further, but there's a strange energy in the way he watches her—part respect, part something more unsettling.

Sayansh: "You’re walking a dangerous path, doctor. And you don’t even realize it"

"So be it" she said without hesitation

Sayansh smirked slightly, his tone was almost approving: "So be it, indeed."

He watches her continue her work, sensing that nothing will deter her. There’s a strange respect building in him, though he doesn’t fully understand it. He’s used to people fearing him, not... helping him.

Sayansh voice was now more measured, a rare moment of vulnerability creeping in : "You don’t know who you're dealing with. You may think you can walk away from this unscathed, but things... have a way of coming back around."

He pauses, letting the weight of his words hang in the air.

Sayansh: "I’ve made enemies. Powerful ones. And they won’t stop until I’m nothing but a memory. You’re tangled in this now, whether you like it or not."

She remain focused on his work and said " I know who you are and your enemies you don't have to worry about a mere doctor like me"

Sayansh's smirk deepened, a dark glint in his eyes as he said: "You think that because you’ve stitched a few wounds, you know me? Or my enemies?"

He shifts slightly, wincing, but there’s something almost admiring in the way he watches her. The fact that she’s not rattled, not afraid of the danger surrounding him, intrigues him more than it should.

Sayansh: "You’re either brave or foolish. Maybe both."

His eyes narrow, searching her face for any hint of hesitation, but all he sees is focus. The way her hands move, steady and precise—he can’t help but wonder about the woman behind the doctor’s mask.

Sayansh: "A mere doctor, huh? Maybe you don’t realize it yet, but you just became more than that. You’re part of my world now."

-How does Saya respond to his claim? Does she still maintain her composure, or is there a shift in her feelings?

Saya raised an eyebrow, her expression still cold and composed as she finishes dressing his wound : "You think I care about your world?"

She takes a moment to meet his gaze, her eyes unwavering despite the tension in the air.

Saya: "I’ve seen the worst of humanity in my line of work. A mafia king isn’t much different than any other, desperate man needing medical help. I’m here to do my job, not get dragged into your... world."

She steps back slightly, her arms crossed, the cool night air brushing against her skin as she looks at him—still assessing, still determined.

Saya: "So, don’t expect me to cower or be swept up by your threats. I’ll help you get through this, but that’s where it ends.

Sayansh smirk widened, a dangerous flicker of amusement in his eyes as he said : "Is that so?"

He leans back, clearly still in pain, but there's an undeniable edge to his presence—like a lion circling its prey, though for now, he’s too wounded to pounce. His tone turns darker, but there's a strange sort of admiration in his voice.

Sayansh: "I admire your courage. Most people, they'd be begging for their lives by now, but you... you stand there as if this means nothing. As if you’re not already tangled in my web."

He watches her carefully, the way her confidence seems to challenge him. For the first time in what feels like forever, something stirs in him—an unfamiliar feeling.

Sayansh said in cold voice : "You’re right about one thing. You are just a doctor. But you’re also something else now. Whether you want to be or not "

"It will be my choice whether I agree or not and you are just a patient just. A. Patient." said by directly looking into her eyes

Sayansh's eyes hardening, his tone almost amused but with a hint of a challenge : "A patient, huh? You seem to forget, doctor, that I don't take orders. I don't play by anyone's rules but my own." He pauses, the intensity in his gaze sharpening, as if daring her to step closer, to test how far she’s willing to push back.

Sayansh: "But for now... I’ll let you think you're in control. Because you’re the one saving my life."

He lets out a low, almost mocking laugh, despite the sharp pain in his body.

Sayansh: "Just don’t forget—whether you want it or not, you're in my world now. And that never changes.

"Done...call your guards it's almost done" as she said as she always takes her things with her all the time, she cut the thread, then she hold his left where he got scratches..she cleaned the blood with cotton ball dipped in hydrogen peroxide and applied ointment and stood up said: " Even I will be your world what the heck wil happen, at least I will make 10 to 20 enemies and someday I will die that's it..Though I don't even have any interest in your so called world"

Sayansh was watching her with a mix of amusement and something darker in his eyes: "You’re a bold one, aren’t you? I like that."

As she works on his wounds, his gaze doesn’t falter. His usual coldness starts to blur for a moment, replaced by something unreadable. But he’s still the same man—dangerous, untouchable, and wrapped in a web of secrets and violence.

Sayansh was smirking despite the pain and said : "You think you’ll walk away unscathed from this? You don’t just walk away from me. Not when I’m still breathing."

His voice softens, though the sharpness remains.

Sayansh: "But I respect that. You have fire. Even if it’ll get you killed someday, it’s fire that’ll make you stand out. You’ll make enemies, just like me... maybe even worse. And that’s what’ll keep you alive in this game."

He finally sits up slightly, testing the weight of his body, the pain still sharp but tolerable. His eyes lock with hers, and for a brief moment, there’s no malice in them—just a strange acknowledgment.

Sayansh: "You might not have an interest in my world, but it's already taken an interest in you. And it won’t let you go."

" Are you sure" she smirk and again said : " curiosity kills the cat"

Sayansh let out a low chuckle escaping his lips, his eyes flickering with something dangerous and he's says: "Curiosity, huh? Maybe it does... but I’ve always been the cat that kills, not the other way around."

He slowly stands up, ignoring the stab of pain, though lit’s clear he’s not fully recovered. His posture is still imposing, a reminder of the kingpin he truly is, even in a vulnerable state. But there’s something different now—a strange respect, or perhaps a challenge between them.

Sayansh: "But you're right about one thing. Curiosity can lead to trouble... but it also leads to power. And power’s something you’ll want when the world you think you can avoid comes crashing down around you."

He steps closer, his voice lowering to a more serious tone.

Sayansh: "Just remember—you asked for this. Not me. So when things get too close, when your world changes and you're staring down the barrel of someone like me... don’t come crying."

"So you want to create trouble for me" she asked coolly as she don't give a fuck about trouble and all

His eyes were darkening, his smirk never leaving : "I don’t need to create trouble for you. You’re already in it. You’ve been in it from the moment you decided to patch me up."

He takes a step closer, his presence imposing, but there’s still something calculated in his approach. He’s testing her, waiting to see if she’ll flinch, if her resolve will crack.

Sayansh: "I don’t play games, doctor. I don’t create trouble—I control it. And whether you like it or not, you’ve just become a piece on the board."

His gaze hardens, but there’s a strange admiration in it, like he's waiting for her to prove herself—waiting for her to either accept her fate or keep fighting, no matter the cost.

Sayansh: "But don’t worry... I’m not asking you to be my ally. Just understand that my enemies will find you if they know you’re connected to me. And that’s your trouble, not mine."

She didn't even flinch, she make eye contact with him and said "Even if I am chess I'll be the Queen whoever side I'll be they will protect me with their lives and about your enemies, who will say that I treat you "

Sayansh smirk was faltering slightly, clearly taken aback by her unyielding confidence: "A Queen, huh? That’s an interesting choice of words."

He stands there for a moment, studying her—the way she holds herself, unwavering, the steel in her eyes. It’s rare for him to meet someone who doesn’t bend in the face of danger. Most would have cowered by now. But not her.

In Sayansh darker edge creeping into his voice as he says : "You think just because you’re a queen on your little board, that someone will shield you? You really believe the world works like that?"

He steps closer, the space between them narrowing, his voice dropping to a low, almost dangerous whisper.

Sayansh: "You’re playing with fire, Saya. And when it burns, it’ll leave nothing but ash." He knew her name as he saw her I'd

But there’s something in his tone—almost a challenge. He wants to see her stand firm, to prove she can handle whatever storm is coming.

Sayansh: "Go ahead, keep playing your game. Just don’t forget—no one survives this world unscathed. Not even the queen."

"Thank you for your kindness but who already got burn into ashes, doesn't get afraid of fire and about queen yes you are right...but you should know here the stronger survives and strongest rule but you forgot in chess board there is queen on the both side" as she said her voice unyielding

Sayansh slowly approvingly nod, his eyes narrowing with something akin to respect: "You're right... the strongest rule. And I can see that you're not one to back down. You’re a force to be reckoned with, Saya."

He stands a little taller now, his posture shifting to reflect the weight of her words. The way she holds her ground, refusing to be intimidated—it’s rare. And he’s starting to realize that it’s not just the usual defiance; it’s something deeper, something that makes her a real challenge, even to him.

Sayansh's voice was softening, a rare moment of reflection: "I’ve had my share of burns, too. But I know this—no matter how strong you are, there’s always someone stronger waiting in the shadows."

He steps back slightly, taking in the full picture of her. His earlier arrogance is still there, but there's something new now—an awareness that maybe, just maybe, she’s more than just another pawn in his game.

Sayansh: "So, we’ll see. We’ll see how long that ‘queen’ of yours holds up when the real game begins."

He turns to leave, but then pauses, looking over his shoulder.

Sayansh: "One last thing—if you truly believe you’re in control of this board, remember... I’m the one who sets the rules. Just don’t forget that, Saya."

"Then would like to be biased" she smirk and said..only she knows what she is thinking

Sayansh stopped in his tracks, his eyes flicking back to her with a dark, amused glint: "Biased, you say?"

He turns slowly, his smirk returning as he steps back toward her, the tension between them crackling. He’s clearly intrigued by her boldness, her refusal to be anyone’s pawn.

Sayansh: "I don’t play fair. I never have. But if you think I’ll let you hold the game board, then maybe you’re underestimating just how dangerous things can get."

He leans in just a little closer, his voice dropping to a low murmur, almost like a warning, though there's something oddly captivating in his demeanor now.

Sayansh: "And if you think you can survive my world without bending the rules, then you might be playing a much bigger game than you realize."

Saya's heart's beat race for a second as he come close to her , the she look at him innocently and whispered " Really"
