Sam opened her eyes and saw the room filled with smog. As the lights fell on

her, she saw the hall filled with an audience. Sam just had a single goal in her mind, the diamond

placed in the middle of the stage for the display. She wondered when will the lights be off. I must

get the diamond today, no matter what. As she waited for the light to go off, her thoughts wandered.

About 16 hours ago, Sam was at her home practicing for the stage performance for the anniversary of the top business group.

In an instant, a group of people barged in and took over the house, keeping every member of her

family a hostage. They looked like goons and waited for someone to give them orders. A man in a suit came inside, saying hello as if invited by the family. He smiled at everyone and forwarded his

hand towards Sam for a handshake. Sam trembled after seeing him. It was never in her mind that the man who had told her to steal the diamond from the anniversary function would appear at her home as he had said after she refused to obey his orders. Sam then hurried off the stage and toward the exit with the team. Seeing the light outside the door as she ran, she knew she had to reach it to save her family.

As she got closer, someone blocked her path before she could react, and she bumped into the

person. She looked up and saw an unfamiliar face. Despite being a new employee only for a month,

Sam was already familiar with the most staff. "Who are you? Why are you blocking me? Only

employees and managers are allowed in here." He replied, "I just started here yesterday. Why are

you so frightened of me? Is there anything I can assist you with?" "No thanks, I'm in a hurry to head home for some family matters. If you don't mind." She replied hastily and walked over to him. He

blocked her again and said, "If it's an emergency, I can help you." "No, thank you, I can handle it

myself," she shouted. In shock, he said, "okay, fine. Go ahead. You have to go through the security

checks before leaving." "W...what?" she shook her head in confusion. "What should I do now?" she

wondered. If they search through my belongings, they will discover the diamond, then I will be

finished, she said," I didn't care when that man gave me poison but, my family, I can't risk their

lives, even if I have only 3 hours to live, I must save them at any cost, so please help me. I don't

know how to get out of here with this, and if I don't, they will kill my family for sure. I am begging

you, please" She held his hand and looked at him earnestly for his answer. He said," I can help you,

but do you think that man will leave you after this? What if he kills you after getting what he

wanted?" "I can't think that for now. All I know now is that I have to save my family. If he goes

back on his word, I will drag him with me to hell anyway I will die soon, so I don't care." "Are you

died, so I have the obligation no matter what, I have to do this.", she said

She asked, "Will you help me?"

As Sam waited for his reply, she looked around for anyone watching. She said, "please, I beg you,

even if you can't help me. I can understand, but don't let anyone know about this.

The man replied, " Let me help you out of here first, then we will think of a way to save both you

and your family from those people."

She looked at him in surprise. She said, "Thank you, Thanks a lot. I never thought that you would

be ready to help me out with this, and I am grateful to you."

He was the secretary of the CEO, Jerry, and the person who inquired about the diamond was the

CEO, Kelvin.

Despite being in the crowd, Kelvin got the message about the replacement of the diamond. Earlier,

they created a fake diamond that mimicked the real one. It is on the stage, and when it is touched,

As Kevin reached the exit door, he waited for the dancer who took the diamond. After some time

passed, he saw someone rushing towards the door. Kevin had taken the shortest way towards the

exit, so he reached there first.

After the girl reached there and, after their talk, he understood while she stole the diamond. And he

was not able to say no to helping her.

Sam shook his hand, and replied, " I am sorry. I had no time nor did these occur in my mind for all
