Lightning flashed through the sky as the thunder followed in the dark sky. A heavy rain began to fall.

On the streets of Rivertown, Long Chen, while walking in the heavy falling rain, muttered to himself "Heh, I am poor!"

"Why is God so unfair?"

A mocking expression surfaced on the young man's face.

Long Chen, when school reopened, he would be a second year college student at University of Rivertown. Since young age, Long Chen lived with his Aunty who tormented him everyday.

Long Chen had just turned twenty this year, his build above average compared to others at the same age. Although he had handsome face and a youthful appearance, his eyes gave off a sense of maturity and coldness that was not present in others of the same age, because of his life experience.

Long Chen's aunty have always used him to borrow money from gangs, which always got him beaten up when he didn't get the money to pay them. Because of this, Long Chen has to work in five part time jobs before he could pay his school fees.

Recently, his Aunty as an borrowed a large some of money from a different gang and disappeared. This night, the gang members came for the money, but since he couldn't pay them, they beated him sencelessly and left him in any alley. Before they left, they gave him 3 days to prepare the money or he dies. Long Chen draged his injured body as he walked on the road to the roof of an uncompleted storey building .

Long Chen knew he couldn't escape anymore. However, once he thought of the consequences of caugth without the money, his body started to tremble uncontrollably . This kind of life is simply too inhumane.

Why is it like this? Why? Why? what should I do? it would be fine if i could end it all.

Just as Long Chen was thinking this, he jumped down from the 25 feet tall building, hoping to end all his misery with his death, he closed his eyes and fell painlessly to his death.

"It's too cold, my life is over? just like that....! Damn it. It doesn't matter anyway, since no one will give a damn..! Too bad I couldn't make the most out it any enjoy life as most people " Long Chen sighed and said. As he sighed, he realized something and quickly he opened his eyes and said."Why am I still talking? " As Long Chen opened his eyes, he realised he was floating in the air as he looked at his bloody body on the ground. He sighed and said. "Is this my soul? I guess souls do exist in this world!"

As Long Chen was in deep thinking of what to do next, a lightning striked him from the skies. As Long Chen was feeling an excruciating pain all over his soul, a notification sounded in his mind.

"DING! INITIATING HOST SYNCHRONIZATION"

"DING! SYNCHRONIZATION PROCESS COMPLETED"

"Ding! Congratulations successfully activated Hell God System!"

"Huh? Hell God System?Is this some kind of game system......? This is simply a game!"Long Chen was shocked. As someone who used to love playing games and reading novels, how can he not know what this concept is!

He suddenly heard a voice in his mind. Some after, he saw an image flash out from his mind and displayed before his eyes.

"What is this? What is going on?" Long Chen realized that, after being sucked into the portal, he seems to be falling at a very fast pace, which terrified him.

Am I going to die again after being granted a second chance to start over? Long Chen thought as he also finally realized stopped falling and heaved a long sigh.

"In order not alert the Hell conqueror of this this world, Host must leave this world as Hell lords do not acknowledge the existence of second hell Lord in the same world. This place is an independent space provided by the system and can only hold for a few minutes, so Host must search for a world without Hell and start to build your own Hell. Long Chen was stunned, when he started to realize the capabilities of this system at he thought. This is exactly like the novels that I used to read back then, I can't believe i got one too. God hasn't abandoned me after all.

"Ding! Congratulations successfully found the Saint Dragon World, which meets the requirements for Host to build his own Hell! To proceed to enter the netherworld this world, please confirm Yes/No!"

"Saint Dragon World?" Long Chen said as he confirmed to enter this world. Next a portal appeared again as he stepped through, and suddenly appeared in new world.

A violet coloured sun hunged far above the lead gray sky, and it's dim sheen dyed the world in a dusty colour.

The heavens and the earth here were unlike the mortal world. Thick lead gray cloud and violent sun hunged in the sky, and the air flowed with various gloomy airflow that gave an extremely oppressive feeling.

Long Chen appeared at the bank of a river when he arrived in this new world.

Standing in a new world, Long Chen looked around muttered, "This is the Netherworld of the Saint Dragon World?"

As Long Chen was in deep thought, he realized that he know nothing about his world aside the name, so he asked the system. "System, can you give me all information about this world?"

"Ding!"

"Sending Information About This World To Host!" said the system.

Suddenly, informations in the form of memories started to rush into Long Chen's head.

Few seconds after he finished absorbing all the information, his face became pale as a sheet when he realized that this world was exactly like how he remembered in the novels and mangas he read. A world of cultivation, a world where the strong preys over the weak, a world where only law exists, "The laws Of The Jungle !"

Long Chen quickly calmed himself down with a few deep breaths, he knew this was his only chance to turn his life around and make good use of this second chance he has been granted.

This World being one without a Hell and an overlord resulted in a situation whereby souls of the dead of those from the mortal are not able to enter the Netherworld, leaving them to wonder the land. And those of the natives of the Netherworld too turns to ghost and spirits as the roam the land after their death.

The existence of Hell in the Netherworld is for the sake of reincarnating beings who have died, and without a Hell means no reincarnation.

Besides ghost, demons, beasts and spirits, there exists numerous clans in the Netherworld. There are varieties of such clans, yet they were collectively called Nether Clans. The existence of Nether Clans are no different from the myriad of clans and sects in the mortal world, except they exist in the Netherworld.

After Long Chen learn everything there was to know about this new world, he decided to focus of the reason why he was here, which was building a Hell.

"System, how can I start to build my own Hell?" Long Chen suddenly asked.

"By using soul points as form of currency to purchase ,build and upgrade your Hell. They can also be used in many ways. " The system answered.

"And how can I get soul points? " Long said.

"By completing missions assigned by the system and killing demons, beasts, and others !"

"Killing demons and beasts ?, at my current powers, it's hard to say who will be killing who!" said Long Chen. He continued "As for missions, beasts and demons, I better increase my strength first. "

With no strength at all, even the weakest demon here might become a threat , so Long Chen decided to ask help from the system because he had no cultivation arts or martial technique to increase his strength with. In this world, one can achieve strength by cultivating skills and raising their power level.

In this world, cultivation levels are divided ten realms. They are; Body refining realm, Qi condensation realm, Goldhall realm, Gold core realm, Heaven core realm, Divine core realm, Rebirth realm, Nether Transformation realm, Earthly immortal realm and finally the Heavenly immortal realm, which are further divided into three stages, which are; initial , middle and late stages. Long Chen eyes suddenly turned cold as he thought of his past tormenting life and became determined.

As if the system could sense the change in Long Chen's emotions, as it's indifferent voice sounded out in his head."As the successor of the Hell God System, Host is destined to be formidable Hell overlord in the universe. So there is no sense in having unnecessary feelings of mortals dwelling in you.!"

Long Chen decided to take the system's advice and not dwell on past thoughts. Most importantly, he knew it was best to figure how to get a foothold in this world rather than think about the past. Most people could only fantasize about such opportunity, but now he has been granted it so it's best to be happy.

Putting the past behind him, he began to thing of how to get his hands on cultivation materials to help him start his new journey. "How am I going to get my hands on cultivation materials(cultivation arts, martial techniques pills and others) to help me cultivate? Maybe I should ask the........." Long Chen was in thought of deciding on how to move forward from this point as the system suddenly sounded in his mind.

Long Chen recalled that he got 1000 soul points from the package earlier, and he decided to use it all without a second thought. "I will able to gain more in the future if I have enough strength, but without strength the soul points are useless if I die" he said.

Hell Suppressing Divine Technique, although it was only the first level of the whole skill, Long Chen beamed, after all with this he can step on the path to become an overlord and change is fate .

In the Saint Dragon world, cultivation and martial skills are divided in general categories of Mortal level, Earth level, Heavenly level, Sacred level and finally the Divine level. They are further separated into lower, medium and upper ranks, pills are similarly ranked.

Heavenly level skills were very rare, and Divine level skills were even rarer. Divine level skills, are after all , only practiced by legendary Gods who have overwhelmingly formidable strength. They were said to be able to summon lightning to strike their enemies and also could break through the fabric of space. Such act was considered going against the heaven's will.

"How convenient, with the help of the Hell God System, he can build things in a matter of seconds " Long Chen said with a smile as he walked towards the hut. When he entered the hut, he discovered that there was a small bed in it. He sat down cross legged and started cultivating. Within seconds, the energy in the surroundings started gathering towards him, as it began refining his body.

Body refining is the beginning of cultivation, where the meridians, bones, flesh and skin are refined to make the body suitable for cultivating and gaining a higher level.

As a person with all information about the nature of the world he is living in, Long Chen decided to not make any mistakes. He shook his head to get rid of all distracting thoughts and focused on cultivating.
