Hey, the author here. It's gonna be a dark story, but like life, there is some good stuff too.

*It's very late. They look at the time. It's 3 AM, and it's their birthday tomorrow* 15 years old *They whisper to themselves* I still can't believe it. *They look around, making sure he can't hear them. He's asleep luckily, so should they be.*
Dad
*he's sleeping on the couch, tired after one of his meetings. Snoring loudly*
Sam
*They look at him in the other room, but lay back down again to get some sleep*
Some days have passed, they are 15 now. The birthday wasn't worth remembering, so they just tried to get through the days, one by one
Sam
*They start talking with this girl. She's so nice, but nothing else than a friendship.* I'm home *They said as they walked in*
Dad
Come here. *he says nicely from the living room*
Sam
*They knew something was off, it wasn't him being nice and they knew it* yeah? *They said as they take their shoes and jacket off* what is it? *They ask*
Dad
Just come in *He says, still trying to act nice*
Sam
*They nod* okay.. *They got inside of the living room and see him on his favorite chair* yeah?
Dad
Sit. *he says slightly cold*
Sam
*They nod and sat down on the floor, waiting for him to continue*
Dad
*He started talking more sternly* I heard from the school, something you wanna tell me?
Sam
*They just looked at him* like what?
Dad
*He started getting annoyed*
Sam
*They just shut off, waiting for it to be over*
Sam
*They just fidget with their hands*
Dad
Are you even listening!? *He says angrily* listen when I talk to you!! *his voice was like a knife in the air, cutting directly through the eardrums*
Sam
*Their thought process was lost* yeah. I'm listening
He went on and on until they finally got to go into their part of the apartment.
They text the group chat to meet up
Sam
*In the group chat* So is anyone up for a session?
Max
*in the group chat* Can't, sorry
Alex
*in the group chat* I will be there, no worries my guy
Sam
*in the group chat* That's so fair
Sam
*in the group chat* Hell yeah!!
Jolee
*in the group chat* Is it alright I'm there?
Sam
*in the group chat* Yeah! Sure!
Alex
*in the group chat* Why not.
Peter
*in the group chat* gotta eat first, then I'm there
Sam
*They packed down the bass and got ready*
Dad
Another music session? What about school? *he said sternly*
Sam
I know, I know. I got it *They left fast, and almost ran to our meetup place*
They arrived too early and as time went on as they waited, it got a bit boring
Sam
*They opened up a can of beer as they waited. Working a bit on their notes*
Jolee
Hey *a sweet voice came from the back*
Sam
*They looked up* Hey *They smiled*
Jolee
can I? *She pointed at the beers*
Sam
Go for it *They smiled and drank theirs*
Jolee
*She nodded with a smile* Thanks
Alex
Heeey!!! *A loud voice came from the back* see who's also here!!
Peter
Wassup *he smiled gently*
Sam
Ey! You guys sure took your time
Alex
Yeah yeah! *he took a beer and got ready, the drums were all set*
Peter
*he packed out his guitar*
Sam
*They got their bass fully ready and set it up.*

They were still playing, and had been at it for hours.

*he nodded and sat down beside Jolee*
Jolee
*she smiled at him and complimented him*

*they couldn't focus on packing their bass*
Alex
*he whispered* dude, no need to be jealous. You know he's gay
Sam
*they looked at him and nod* yeah.. Sorry *they finished packing*
They all sat around the table as they all started drinking beers
They all looked intrigued
Peter
Alright, but no cheating this time *he looked at Alex*
Alex
*he made a mocked offended gesture* me? Never
Sam
*They put a bottle on the table* I start and the person it lands on says it after and so on
They all nod in agreement
Sam
*They spin the bottle and it lands on peter* alright, I'm gonna say mine and then you will be next
Sam
*They were thinking* alright..
Peter
Be careful, I know you well *He said confidently*
Sam
Alright, I once ate a chip that looked like a mouse. I once broke my knee on a couch and I used to have an ipod
Peter
You didn't break your knee, you fractured it. Which means that was the lie *he said confidently*
Sam
Well I will be damned, you do know me *I took a shot*
After some hours, they all finally decided to go home
Alex
*He looked at me* yeah?
Sam
Can I crash at your place tonight?
Alex
*He nods* of course dude *he wrapped his arm around my neck* let's rock *he laughed*
Sam
*They woke up by the phone calling* hello..?
Dad
*In the call* WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU!?
Sam
*I sat up* just at a friends place
Dad
*In the call* ALL NIGHT!?
Sam
We had some homework to do *They had a feeling that it wouldn't slide this time*
Dad
*In the call* Bullshit. *he said coldly* after school, you get right home.
Dad
*In the call* good. *he hung up*
Alex
Is he always that angry? *he said only half awake*
Alex
Not really.. Maybe he's worried about you
Sam
No. He just don't want parents to talk *They laid back down and went back to sleep*
Alex
No school today I guess *He said, laughing slightly at Sams gesture*
Sam
*They shook their head* not ever again.
Alex
Wait you're actually gonna skip after your dad called *he looked slightly worried*
Sam
It's not like I listen anyway, so it's just a waste of time *They sighed*
Alex
If you say so *He got up and got ready* Just remember that, my parents can't see you. So leave before 12pm
Time went on, and he went to school. They was alone at his place
After some time there was a click on the front door
Sam
*They woke up right away and looked at the phone.. 12.30pm* shit.. *They whispered under their breath. They got their stuff and fast jumped out of the window. They ran to the nearby store* That was close..
Sam
*in chat* Ey dude, sorry I fell asleep
Alex
*in chat* Are you out now?
Sam
*in chat* yeah, just barely. I don't know if they saw tho
Alex
*in chat* They didn't, but my mom texted me, to tell me to remember to close the window
Sam
*in chat* Shit, sorry again. I had to be fast
Alex
*in chat* No worries dude, just be careful next time
Some time went on, and I got home
Dad
Come in now! *he yelled from the living room*
Sam
*I fast took off my jacket and shoes and got into the living room* yeah?
