Ch 1 - gods and devils
- We devils live in another dimension, separate from the human world. Long ago, during the time of my great-great-great-grandparents, a devastating war broke out between our kind and the divine beings above, the gods. It was a brutal and bloody conflict, and we suffered immense losses, with countless demons and our loyal followers falling in battle -
- In the end, the gods won. But instead of wiping us out completely, they offered my ancestors a deal to spare their lives and protect their bloodline. The condition was clear. We devils could never step foot in the human world again, never harm another mortal, and never start another war against the divine. With no other choice, my ancestors agreed -
- As a result, the gods banished us to another dimension, sealing us away where we could no longer reach humanity or challenge the Gods. From that day on, we were trapped in a realm where we could only watch the world we once roamed freely -
The present rulers of the kingdom were blessed with a son, a joyous event that brought happiness to everyone in the land. The news spread quickly, with celebrations and festivities marking the birth of the crown prince
However, despite the happiness, a dark rumor began to swirl around the kingdom, one that no one could explain
It started as whispers, carried on the wind and slowly began to grow louder. Some spoke of a prophecy, though its origins were unclear
No one knew where the rumor had come from or who had started it, but the fear was real. The kingdom, blissfully unaware of the true meaning of the prophecy, continued their celebrations. Yet, somewhere in the shadows, the devils began to stir, watching, waiting, knowing that the birth of the crown prince was no mere coincidence
When the king and queen heard the rumors, the king immediately ordered the knights to find who spread them and punish them with death. However, no one could find the source. Years passed, and the fallen began to grow increasingly fearful of the crown prince. They couldn’t shake the feeling that the RUMOR might be true, and the prince could bring disaster upon their world.
