Minjun is very scared and confused right now. He doesn't understand what's happening, and he's unable to talk to anyone about it—he doesn't know what’s going on or why. Minjun doesn't have any friends because he is new to both the place and the school.

Then, Minjun went back home, lost in his thoughts. He was thinking that if he didn't go to school or see that girl for 2-3 days, maybe things would get better, and the situation wouldn't be as bad. So, he decided to take a break from school for 2-3 days. He didn't go anywhere and just stayed at home.

Minjun had hoped that he would make new friends at school, but that didn't happen.

Hyun-jin: ‘I’m Hyun-jin. And they’re Rowan and Joon-woo.’

“Then Hyun-jin looked at him with a smirk.”

Hyun-jin: ‘You and I… let’s settle this in a baseball match. Whoever wins—gets Soha.’

“Minjun hesitated… but then thought—‘If I don’t play, they’ll think I’m a coward. But if I do… maybe I’ll earn their respect.’”

“Minjun agreed. The match was set for two days later....

“Everyone went home, but something had begun. A new chapter in Minjun’s story…”

Everyone now knows about the upcoming baseball match in two days. Soha has found out too. But something unexpected happens before that…

(Minjun’s POV – Sitting in class, looking out the window)

He sees a boy being taken to a quiet spot near the school by three students — Hyun-jin, Rowan, and Joon-woo. They're beating him up.

Minjun watches in shock through the window.

(Soha enters and notices Minjun watching something)

The moment Soha looks at Minjun, she suddenly sees a flash of the future.

Future Vision (Soha’s POV):

Minjun is saving that same boy from the three attackers.

Soha is used to seeing the future — she had discovered long ago that she could do this.

Cut to: A few moments later

Minjun rushes to the scene to stop the fight.

Minjun (to Hyun-jin):

“Why are you hitting him?”

Hyun-jin (coldly):

“What’s it to you? Stay out of our business. I’ll do whatever I want with him.”

Minjun (firmly):

“No. He’s my friend. You’re not going to hurt him.”

Hyun-jin glares but lets go of the boy. They leave.

Cut to: Minjun helping the injured boy and taking him to a bench to apply medicine.

Minjun:

“What’s your name?”

Boy:

“I’m Ji-ho.”

After treating him…

Ji-ho:

“But I’m not your friend. So why did you save me? And why did you tell them I was your friend?”

Minjun:

“If I didn’t say that, they would've hurt you even more... and I don’t have any friends. Will you be my friend?”

Ji-ho (smiles a little):

“Yeah, I will. But... if you mess with them, won’t it affect your baseball match tomorrow?”

Minjun (surprised):

“How do you know about the match?”

Ji-ho:

“Hyun-jin is really popular in this school. All the girls support him. Rowan told one of them to encourage him for the game. That girl told the whole school.”

Minjun:

“Ah... I see.”

Ji-ho:

“You can play baseball too, right? Since Hyun-jin is the team captain.”

Minjun:

“Let’s see what happens tomorrow.”

After school, Minjun heads home and takes a short rest.

The next morning, Minjun woke up early.

He got ready quickly and stepped out for school.

As he walked down the street, he noticed someone waiting.

It was Ji-ho, standing there with a smile—

ready to go to school together.

After school was over, Minjun came to the field for his baseball match after attending two classes. Hyun-jin, Rowan, and Joon-woo were already there waiting for Minjun.

After a while, many boys and girls from different classes came to the field to watch the baseball match. Soha also came with her friends to see the match.

After waiting for some time, the baseball match finally started.

Everyone was cheering for Hyun-jin, but Soha and her friends were cheering for Minjun.

Minjun thought to himself —

“Why is Soha cheering for me?”

Then without thinking much, Minjun focused properly on the match.

Soha and her friends were very happy.

After that, Soha came to Minjun with a water bottle.

Minjun asked:

“Why did you cheer for me?”

Soha replied:

“Because I felt like it.”

Saying this, Soha gave him the bottle and walked away.

Then Minjun freshened up and went back to class. Everyone was praising Minjun. Many girls wanted to be friends with him.

Minjun was also very happy.

After school ended, on his way home, Soha called out to Minjun.

Minjun talked to Soha. Soha said to Minjun —

Soha:

“I want to be friends with you.”

Minjun:

“Okay… but why?”

When he got home, Minjun tried calling Ji-ho, but Ji-ho wasn’t picking up. That made Minjun more anxious.

So Minjun got ready to go to Ji-ho’s house.

While on the way, he ran into Soha.

Soha said:

“I’ll go with you to Ji-ho’s house.”

Minjun said:

“Why? Why would you go? If your friend Hyun-jin finds out that you went to Ji-ho’s house or talked to him, then they’ll beat up Ji-ho again.”

Soha:

“Why? Why would they beat up Ji-ho?”

Minjun:

“What, you don’t know? Hyun-jin likes you. He even gave you a love letter.”

Soha:

“How do you know all this? You joined school late, right? Who told you everything?”

Minjun didn’t say anything and started walking quickly.
