long ago, lived a mysterious and magical land . this land had lots of mysteries and untold tales that lurked within it. the land of maeho only existed in the other world, while in the normal world , it was a myth . the Qi users were popular warriors in maeho and were the progenitors of mystic arts, a fundamental form of magic and spell casting. most families in maeho mastered Qi and passed it down to their progeny as a custom and tradition. amongst these families is the popular Kim family of the kwaechugwan fortress. the Kim dynasty was headed by Lord kim min -soo , leader of the kwaechugwan fortress, together with his four heirs, although the last heir is unpopular and unknown. the three heirs, excluding the fourth one, were well-known practitioners of Qi carrying on the legacy of their noble dynasty as qi users . the third heir, Kim hwa- young was a damsel loved by almost all the men as she was said to be as elegant and charming as the cherry blossom 🌸. the second heir , kim su- yeon was a lovely and handsome young man also loved by almost all the females as he was said to glow as bright and pale as the frost and winter fall because of his white hair and hanbok. the first heir, kim park-so was a bold and strict young man as he was said to be as gloomy as the nightfall. the three were respected heirs of the noble kim family, well known in the entire land and villages. earlier on when lord kim min- soo's four heirs were still teenagers , kim Lao-Kong,the fourth heir was very ill/sick to the point of death so lord kim min-soo needed a solution to his problem. lord kim min-soo needed a powerful relic called the relic stone, which had the power to reincarnate souls . the relic stone was the most powerful soul gem 💎 ( a relic that has the power of imperfect reincarnation of souls), having the power to instantly reincarnate souls without any defect attribute. another mystery of maeho was the sea of souls. the sea of souls was called the stream of sorcery , an unnatural water body with immense energy , considered to be a bridge between the earth and the dark part. the sea of souls was considered a very dreadful place in maeho. If a person drowns in the sea of souls, their souls automatically gets reincarnated with a negative effect due to its wild essence, a person's soul can be reincarnated as a tree, a flower, or inanimate objects like dolls and the soul could as well get trapped in the water for eternity. because of the dangers of the seas power, a technique was used to make powerful relics and artefacts,which some had the power to reincarnate souls like the soul gem . the soul gem was a product of the sea of souls, made out of the dark waters. some artefacts were used in storing myriads , cursed spirits that escape from the dark part ,purging out of the water to roam around the earth with malice. the technique or art used in making these objects of power was known as forbidden alchemy. A powerful sorcery with the power to manipulate creation. the forbidden alchemy was banned from maeho, although it was secretly used and practiced. damsol fortress was where mysterious relics and powerful artefacts were stored and preserved . lord kim min-soo's desperacy led him to search for the relic stone, so he sent his men to the damsol fortress to get the relic stone. rumours spread like wildfire about warriors being killed at the damsol fortress. when lord kim min-soo heard of this, he decided to travel to the damsol fortress with about twenty-seven men from his elite warriors. when they reached the damsol fortress, a strange figure stood firm in the form of a warrior, a female elite warrior wearing a gat on her head, a scarlet blind fold covering her eyes and dressed on a dark blue coloured hanbok. this warrior was the keeper of the damsol fortress, and her name was bong-seon . bong-seon was a powerful spellsman and a blind warrior who passed through a series of training for twenty-five years. 'we are here for the relic stone.' Lord kim min-soo spoke boldly. 'Hmm, I'm the keeper of the damsol fortress, and nothing is leaving out of it.' bong-seon spoke . 'it's an order'! lord kim min-soo yelled . 'Well, it's my own order as well,' bong-seon responded fearlessly. lord kim min-soo sent his men to attack bong-seon. under the rainy 🌧 sky they fought. bong-seon elegantly unsheath her blade and dashed at the first men to attack her, and within five seconds , she was through with them. the second warriors approached her , and with her movements like lightning and her fierce pride and grandeur techniques, she finished them up. bong-seon was able to use her qi energy to incorporate powerful gusts of wind , then raised massive amounts of rocks and boulders by touching the ground and releasing her qi energy like a blue/azure aura. she also turned a rain drop/ drop of water into fire 🔥 and used it to blast off the other warrior to his death. for the last two warriors, she used her qi energy to manipulate water by causing all the moistures in their body to go away, leaving them dry and pale on the floor. lord kim min-soo seeing all his men on the floor with rage unsheath his own blade while using his qi energy to incorporate fire /flames in his blade, making it fiery . He dashed at bong-seon, and they began to clash blades. while flicking his blade, he incorporated wind in his blade as the fire gradually shifted to mere air then he struck it at bong-seon, although bong-seon used her qi energy to freeze her sword like ice 🧊 through the particles of water in order to get hold of her stamina, but the force was too strong that it pushed her away, sliding on the floor. lord kim min-soo used this as an advantage to rush her and stab her while on the ground, although she tried using her energy to hold the force of the blade , but she gave up along the line and was stabbed to death. bong-seon was exceptionally talented in the forbidden alchemy, so with her last breath, she drew energy from the water and at the same time incorporated dark energy into it thereby forming a corrupted energy from the water which will be equivalent to the immense energy of the sea of souls *stream of sorcery* so she was able to reincarnate her soul as she vanished into a blue subtle energy flow ,fading into thin air. lord kim min-soo tried to enter the damsol fortress, but it was shielded with a spell. when Lord kim min-soo discovered that bong-seon's body was no more, he was shocked and suspected that she must have reincarnated her soul. a young girl, while escaping from some group of boys, fell into the water. her body drowned in the sea of souls at the same time bong-seon soul was getting reincarnated. there is usually a clash when two souls are getting reincarnated at the same time under the full moon , and the outcome is uncertain and uncomprehendable. due to this coincidence and clash of souls, something unusual happened........

the art of forbidden alchemy originated from the sea of souls. during the full moon , souls are not allowed to be reincarnated. when two souls are reincarnating under the full lunar ,the celestial event will be uncertain as the moonlight gathers energy from the earth, and when two souls are reincarnating during this celestial moment of the moonlight, it could cause a clash , making the souls to merge. due to this coincidence, the two souls merged as one and reincarnated . lord kim min-soo, then used the last soul gem in kwaechugwan fortress to reincarnate the soul of kim Lao-Kong. after this, Lord kim min-soo gave an order to all the elite warriors in kwaechugwan fortress to search for anybody bearing a blue tattoo on any of their body part. when a soul gets reincarnated, a blue tattoo appears on the body part as a sign that the soul has been reincarnated. during the exercise of the elite warriors that lasted for a month , they discovered a young blind boy with a blue tattoo located at the left-hand side of his shoulder. this boy wore a tattered and ragged white blind fold with a ragged dress as he was an orphan, so he was brought to Lord kim min-soo, and Lord kim min-soo used his qi energy to sense his soul and could feel the raw energy that surrounded his soul which means that the soul was reincarnated. lord kim min-soo was so glad to see his reincarnated son, although his old self could see while his new body couldn't, the defect of the soul gem. kim Lao-Kong was locked 🔒 up in his room till he grew up. he stayed up in his room , drawing all day as he was a very talented artist 🎨. lord kim min-soo seeked the help of a known powerful mage that lived in the daeyuwon forest. the mage's name was yoon- soo. lord kim min-soo went to the damsol fortress with yoon-soo in order to remove the spell that was used in shielding it. ' Only a spellsman can cast spells , there is no spellsman to undo the spell been cast, and I am just a mage, so I know no spells. I haven't really seen or heard of a spellsman after fifty years, and it's quite rare to find one, "yoon-soo spoke. ' How strong is the qi energy '?? lord kim min-soo questioned curiously. 'Hmm, judging by the weight of the spell been cast, this Qi energy is immense. the spellsman who cast this spell is extremely powerful, never seen a spellsman with such power before. for now you'll have to stay away from the damsol fortress,' yoon-soo spoke. a body was lying at the bank of the water , so a fisherman carried the body back home. cho-wonhwa woke up a bit dizzy before she gained consciousness , so she met the fisherman outside. cho-wonhwa lived with the fisherman, and he was like a foster father to her. the senho village was attacked by a sorcerer , so kim park-so after getting the news, decided to rush to the senho village. at that same space of time, a myriad had escaped from the sea of souls , so kim su-yeon was to go an capture the myriad while kim hwa-young looks after the kwaechugwan fortress alongside lord kim min-soo. kim park-so stood face to face with the sorcerer as he gently unsheath his blade while his eye glowed ocean blue with his qi energy emitting like a blue aura of light. at the same time, the sorcerer unsheath his blade as a dark aura of energy emitted from his body and blade. sorcerers generally have corrupted qi due to the excessive use of sorcery (the art of reincarnating souls) and also lack control of their qi energy. his eyes turned pitch black with dark veins streaming out of his eyes, so he dashed at kim park-so. both kim park-so and the sorcerer clashed their blades with fierce strength and battle rage, then kim park-so began to form an energy core with his qi energy while the sorcerer did the same, so the sorcerer used his blade to flick the dark energy core at kim park-so as it moved like a dark stream of energy, so kim park-so used his energy core to block the dark stream but the clash of the two cores struck the both of them to the ground. kim park-so still stood up and rushed him , so before he could defend himself, kim park-so's blade had already cut through his stomach as blood gushed out of his mouth and stomach incessantly.with his last breath, he used the soul gem by absorbing its dark energy so his body faded away as his soul was getting reincarnated. kim su-yeon used his qi energy to sense the myriad. he could sense that the myriad was a shape shifter, so he rushed down, chasing the myriad as it took the form of a young woman holding an umbrella 🌂 . kim su-yeon reached a dry place, so his qi energy was still able to sense the negative energy of the myriad , so the myriad came out and revealed its true form as a dark grotesque creature with a skeletal body, having multiple body parts. this shape shifting myriad was the most terrifying myriad kim su-yeon had ever seen so kim su-yeon opened the miniature sacred do-ja-gi (a powerful artefact in the form of a Pottery jar 🏺 with the power to seal dark forces.) so the myriad got sucked up into the pottery jar artefact then kim su-yeon immediately closed it. kim su-yeon returned back with the artefact. 'So which myriad was it?? ' kim hwa-young asked curiously. 'it's an anoka, but I've never seen anyone as terrifying as it is.its like a hybrid anoka' kim su-yeon replied . kim su-yeon dropped back the miniature sacred do-ja-gi in the sinseoghan room, a restricted place in kwaechugwan fortress where powerful artefacts of the kim dynasty are stored.

cho-wonhwa has always wanted to be an elite warrior in the kwaechugwan fortress as she felt inspired by the influence of the elite warriors in maeho. cho-wonhwa always visited the mystic mount to read books about being an elite warrior, but for her to become an elite warrior, she needed to be a Qi user. cho-wonhwa always studied the mastery of Qi in the mystic materials and tried mastering the use of qi . cho-wonhwa was reading about the four stages of a qi user as she remembered the stages of the three heirs along the line . kim su-yeon , the second heir was known to be a talented bender while in the mystic academy in the kwaechugwan fortress, kim hwa-young, the third heir was known to be a skillful bender while in the mystic academy in the kwaechugwan fortress, kim park-so, the first heir was known to be a powerful weilder while in the mystic academy in the kwaechugwan fortress, and all were first class qi users in their own stages. the four stages of a qi user. the first stage, he becomes a bender, a stage he learns to bend the flow of qi in his body. the second stage, he becomes a weilder, a stage he learns to harness and utilize the energy of qi as a weapon. the third stage, he becomes a mage, a stage he masters energy itself. the fourth stage, he becomes a spellsman, a stage he gains mastery of spellsmanship *the ability to cast spells* , at this level, his control of qi and energy becomes immense and unparalleled. cho-wonhwa was close to jin-soo a talisman seller , so jin-soo already knew of cho-wonhwa dreams and desire of becoming an elite warrior. the Kim brand was the day the villagers of maeho celebrated the three heirs of the kim family/dynasty, which was celebrated every year. after the kim brand , kim park-so started a new exercise of recruiting novices that will train as elite warriors in the mystic academy . cho-wonhwa didn't know of this exercise, but jin-soo knew , so jin-soo decided to put down cho-wonhwa's name without her knowing. when cho-wonhwa got a letter of her recruitment as a novice in the mystic academy to be trained as an elite warrior, she was euphoric, but at the same time she never recalled recruiting herself so jin-soo confessed to her that she was the one who put down her name in the list of the recruits. after a week , all the recruits were called to the mystic academy to begin their training. cho-wonhwa waved farewell to both sir yul and jin-soo. cho-wonhwa surprisingly was the only female recruit in the mystic academy while the rest were males. most times, she was teased by the other males as they called her all sorts of abusive names like she male and tomboy. cho-wonhwa made only two friends from the males. lee-sung was the slim young man while sung-sung was the chubby one. cho-wonhwa was able to relate with the two guys ,lee-sung and sung-sung, quite well, and they eventually became close and tight friends as the two guys defended her from the other boys who maltreated her. kim park-so was a very tough and strict teacher, although most people perceived him to be mean and an authoritarian as well as a tyrant. kim park-so's training was so difficult for them to master and learn. cho-wonhwa was always the target of kim park-so at all times . ' You need to learn how to embrace the flow and energy of qi in your body , then an only then can you fit in as an elite warrior. to embrace one's qi is like letting it flow freely without any limitations, and embracing one's qi involves focus and freeing one's mind from any emotional or psychological stress. if you can let your qi flow freely, then you can learn to control it. a person's qi is a powerful weapon if he learns control and proper use of it, but as well , lack of control of your qi is like a raging torrent that can't be controlled and the consequence is burning out which it's outcome is rarely survival. you all should get ready for the next session of this training and at the end , one will be chosen as my apprentice', kim park-so concluded his speech. cho-wonhwa ,lee-sung and sung-sung had their lunch, after which they decided to go to their various rooms while cho-wonhwa went out alone to train. cho-wonhwa trained rigorously while kim park-so watched her from a corner and felt a bit impressed. in the next session , they were told to meditate and let their qi energy flow out. the others tried a little to release a trickle of their qi, including lee-sung and sung-sung. kim park-so watched cho-wonhwa closely, but nothing was coming out. ' cho-wonhwa, free your mind and embrace it, let it flow, release it !!!', kim park-so yelled so cho-wonhwa took a deep breath and suddenly her qi energy began to sip out like a blue subtle breeze coming out with the force of a wind then suddenly as cho-wonhwa opened her eyes , it glowed ocean blue and she bursted out an immense amount of qi that shook the entire fortress and threw kim park-so down to the floor. after this incidence, cho-wonhwa fainted and dropped on the ground. cho-wonhwa found herself drowning inside the sea of souls, and then she saw a strange woman holding her hands, wearing a scarlet blind fold and they were both upside-down, and then she woke up immediately. kim park-so was standing next to her. ' You're awake now', kim park-so spoke. ' Yes, what happened?'??? cho-wonhwa questioned eagerly. kim park-so just left without saying a word. kim su-yeon met with kim park-so after hearing what happened. 'Was it truly her?'???? Kim Su-yeon asked curiously. 'What she did was totally impossible for just a learner of mystic arts. her qi energy was too much for such a weak and mediocre novice. I feel like there is something about her that feels off, but I'll get to the root of all these', kim park-so spoke....
