[ANGELDEVIL - Aditya] - The Rular of Apocalypse

Accident Or Murder

Aditya Vats was no ordinary teenager. At just 17 years old, he had the looks of a movie star and the lifestyle of a billionaire. Pulling up to his company headquarters in a sleek BMW, he stepped out as the chauffeur respectfully opened the door for him. The moment he entered the building, the entire atmosphere shifted.

"Good morning, sir," greeted the employees—especially the young women, who couldn't help but admire him.

"Good morning," Aditya replied with a calm confidence, walking toward the elevator.

Behind him, some of the girls whispered, “Can you believe he’s our boss? So young and so handsome!”

Indeed, Aditya was only 17. The empire he now owned had been built from the ground up by his late grandfather—whom he affectionately called “Dad.” The company had risen to towering heights over the years. Before his passing, Aditya’s grandfather transferred ownership to him, without even informing his own daughter, Aditya’s mother.

His will included one strict instruction: when his eldest grandson turned 16, only then should the truth be revealed. Until then, the business was to be managed by his brother—Shekhar.

And so, Aditya had become a millionaire overnight, unbeknownst to even his closest family.

As the elevator reached the 24th floor, Aditya stepped into his modern office and noticed a familiar face waiting inside.

“Shekhar Uncle,” Aditya greeted. “I went through the file you sent me. I don’t think we should partner with that company. They’ve been involved in multiple lawsuits recently and have scammed several others.”

Shekhar nodded, impressed. “You’re absolutely right, Aditya. That’s exactly why I sent the file—to see if you would come to the same conclusion.”

Shekhar was the same uncle who had faithfully run the company for years. He admired Aditya’s sharp thinking and never dismissed his opinions.

After some brief business discussion, Shekhar smiled and reminded him, “Don’t forget, you need to leave early today—it’s your birthday!”

Aditya chuckled. “Thank you for reminding me, Uncle. Mom would’ve killed me if I forgot!”

“Happy birthday, son. Seventeen today! Now go, and don’t forget to bring the cake.”

“Yes, Uncle!” Aditya said as he left the office and slipped into his car, thoughts racing through his head.

“Today is May 9th. I’m officially 17 now. According to Dad’s will, I can finally tell Mom and the family that we’re not middle class—we’re rich.”

He smiled to himself.

“She’s going to be so happy to learn how much her father planned for me.”

Just then, his phone rang. It was his mom.

“Adi, where are you?” she said, clearly annoyed. “I told you to come home early from coaching, and it’s already 8 PM!”

Aditya softened his voice and joked, “Sorry, Mom! I’m just a little late... haven’t even been born yet! Haha, kidding.”

“Come home soon—and don’t forget the cake!” she replied.

“Got it!” he said and ended the call, driving peacefully.

Soon after, a message popped up on his phone. It was from “Dad.”

“We have a surprise for you. Come to this location—____.”

Aditya raised an eyebrow.

“Strange... I just spoke to Mom, and she didn’t mention any surprise. But if Dad says so, I guess I should go.”

He turned the car smoothly toward the address. A few moments later, the message disappeared from his chat—deleted automatically. But Aditya didn’t notice. He was enjoying the drive. He loved luxury cars and had driven almost every model over the past year.

Eventually, he reached the spot.

As he stepped out of his BMW, someone struck him on the head with a heavy iron rod. Everything went black.

Two hours later...

Police knocked at his house's front door. When his mother opened it, they delivered the news:

“There’s been an accident. Aditya’s car was found submerged in the Yamuna River.”

To be continued...

Was it really an accident?

Who struck Aditya—and why?

Is he truly gone, or is this the beginning of something far more dangerous?

Find out in the next chapter of 《ANGELDEVIL》: Unexpected Murder.

Unexpected Murder

In the previous chapter, Aditya had a mysterious accident. The police arrived at his home, only to report that someone had struck Aditya on the head, leaving him unconscious. Now, the story unfolds...

“What are you saying, Officer? That’s absurd! Aditya is only 17, and we don’t even own a car. How can you claim he had an accident and that his car was found submerged in a river?” exclaimed Rajesh Sharma, Aditya’s father.

Before Officer Narendra could respond, a voice interrupted from behind, “It’s true.”

Everyone turned toward the voice. It was Shekhar, who stepped forward solemnly and said, “It’s all true. Aditya… he’s no more. I saw his car myself, being pulled out of the river.”

Rashmi Sharma, Aditya’s mother, recognized him instantly. “Uncle Shekhar? What are you doing here? What are you saying? And how do you know Aditya?” she asked, sobbing.

She had assumed her uncle still lived in the village and had never even met Aditya. But now, Shekhar could hide nothing.

He revealed everything—how he had found Aditya a year earlier and introduced him to AV GROUPS OF INDUSTRIES, and how he had told him about his grandfather’s will.

The room fell silent with shock. Aditya’s parents, his aunt, his uncles—everyone was stunned. They couldn’t believe that in just one year, Aditya had taken a company worth 500 crores and doubled its value to 1000 crores. The revelation hit his mother the hardest. A terrifying thought crept into her mind—what if this wasn’t an accident? What if Aditya had been murdered because of the company?

Sensing the tension, Officer Narendra said, “We’re leaving now. Aditya’s body hasn’t been found yet.” At those words, Rashmi collapsed.

Her family rushed to help her inside. Still in disbelief, they began questioning why Aditya had never told them about his success. His aunt remarked, “Did he think we’d snatch his money? Anyway, it doesn’t matter now.”

Maanvi, Aditya’s elder sister, snapped, “How can you say that? We’ve lost our brother, and you’re worried about why he didn’t tell us about his company?”

Ashamed, everyone fell silent. Just then, Dr. Sudhanshu arrived and entered Rashmi's room.

Meanwhile, Shekhar, Officer Narendra, Rajesh Sharma, and his brothers had already left for the riverbank.

When they reached, Rajesh saw the broken barricades and a silver car being pulled from the river by a crane. The car had clearly crashed at high speed. But Aditya was nowhere in sight.

Rajesh ran to the officers. “Where is Aditya?” he demanded.

“The river is very deep,” one officer replied. “And the current is strong. It’s possible the body was swept away.”

“Don’t worry,” another officer added. “We’ll find him.”

At that moment, Shekhar stepped forward. “Officer, I’m from AV GROUPS OF INDUSTRIES. The boy who’s missing—he owns this company. He’s one of the richest youths in Delhi. You must find him.”

“We know who he is,” said Officer Narendra. “Please be patient. We’re doing everything we can.”

Unaware of all this, Aditya had drifted far from the city, eventually washing up near a forest waterfall. He lay there, breathless, his body cold.

Suddenly, dark clouds filled the sky. A bolt of lightning struck him square in the chest. His body jolted—his heart began to beat again. His clothes singed from the lightning, but nature itself seemed to refuse to let him die.

Slowly, Aditya opened his eyes, trying to understand where he was. He struggled to recall how he got there. Then it hit him—he remembered someone striking him on the head as he exited the car.

“Who attacked me? Why can’t I remember…? Wait… I do remember.” Aditya’s mind flashed back to that moment.

A masked man had been placing him into his own car when he had briefly regained consciousness.

“You’re about to die,” the man had said. “Any last wishes?”

“Who are you?” Aditya had asked weakly. “Why are you doing this?”

“I don’t want to kill you,” the man replied. “Someone close to you hired me.”

That word—close—shocked Aditya. “What do you mean?”

“Someone from your family.”

“I don’t believe you. Who are you? Let me go!”

“You’re not going anywhere. I was paid to do this. But don’t take my word for it—listen for yourself.”

The man pulled out a phone and made a call. After a few rings, someone answered.

“Well? Is it done yet? How much longer?” came the voice on the line.

Aditya froze. It was his father—Rajesh Sharma.

Then another voice followed: “He has to die. If he doesn’t, we’ll kill you next. Got it?”

It was Manvi—his own sister. And then, the voice of his younger sister, Kaushiki.

Tears streamed down Aditya’s face. His heart shattered. Why would his own family do this?

The call ended. Aditya sat in stunned silence.

“This can’t be real… Why would they do this to me?”

“You can ask God when you see Him,” the masked man said coldly. “But right now—you have to die.”

“The game has just begun,” Aditya whispered, suddenly smiling. “I will return.”

The man ignored him and remotely activated the car, sending it crashing into the river. But he had made a mistake—he forgot to bind Aditya. Unconscious, Aditya floated free from the car and drifted away with the current… eventually arriving at the waterfall.

Now, with his memory returned, he whispered, “Why…? Why would my own family want me dead?”

Will Aditya uncover the truth behind his family’s betrayal? Or will the mystery remain buried?

New Friend

The last chapter left off with Aditya’s family plunged into sorrow after hearing the news of his tragic death. His father, Rajesh Sharma, devastated and trembling, arrived at the accident site, breaking down in tears at the sight of the mangled car. Meanwhile, far from the chaos, Aditya sat silently beside a cascading waterfall—his mind a whirlpool of betrayal and pain.

He stared at the falling water, haunted by the same tormenting thought: Why did my own people betray me?

Just then, a strange sensation crept over him. He turned quickly. “What’s there?” he muttered. Something had darted out of sight the moment he looked. But as he turned back to the waterfall, it began to approach again.

Though his eyes were on the stream, his mind stayed alert. As soon as the presence drew near, Aditya spun around—and heard a startled voice cry, “Ah! You scared me!”

He froze. That voice hadn’t come from a human—it had come from… a hamster.

The little creature, realizing its mistake, immediately began squeaking in panic, trying to make it seem like Aditya had imagined the words. But Coco didn’t know whom he was dealing with.

“Don’t try to fool me,” Aditya said calmly. “I know what I heard. You can talk. So stop pretending.”

Caught in the act, the hamster sighed and replied, “Sorry… I didn’t mean to scare you.”

Aditya chuckled. “Scared? That wasn’t scary at all.”

At least for a moment, he wasn’t thinking about his painful past.

The hamster’s eyes lit up. “That’s a relief! Most people freak out when they see me talking.”

“Why?” Aditya asked. “Your voice is adorable—sweet and soft. Why would anyone be afraid of you?”

Coco looked down, ears drooping slightly. “Because I’m… different. People think I’m weird. So they stay away.”

“What’s your name?” Aditya asked.

“Coco. And yours?”

“I’m Aditya—Aditya Vats. But tell me… how can you speak like a human? You’re a hamster.”

Coco took a deep breath. “A mad scientist experimented on me when I was just born. He injected me with human DNA. Since then, I’ve had the mind and voice of a human. I eventually escaped—he wanted to run dangerous tests on me that could’ve killed me.”

He looked up curiously. “But what about you? Why are you all alone out here? And in such a condition?”

Aditya’s eyes filled with tears. Pain returned like a sudden storm.

“Did I say something wrong?” Coco asked gently.

“No… You didn’t.”

And with that, Aditya poured his heart out. He told Coco everything—how his own family had tried to kill him, how he barely survived the fatal accident, and why his clothes were scorched.

Coco listened in disbelief. “That lightning strike… it hit you? That’s why I came here—I saw the flash and wanted to check it out. It’s unbelievable you survived something like that!”

Even Aditya was stunned. “I’ve been asking myself the same question—how am I still alive?”

“Anyway,” Coco said, “come with me. I’ll guide you out of this forest.”

Aditya shook his head. “No. The outside world believes I’m dead. And maybe I should be. I don’t want to return to that cruel, selfish place. I’ll survive here… in the jungle.”

Coco paused, then said softly, “Would you… stay with me then? The animals here avoid me because I talk like a human. I’ve been alone for so long.”

His voice trembled slightly with loneliness.

Aditya looked at the tiny creature with warmth. “Of course. I’ll stay. And you’ll teach me everything I need to know about the forest.”

Coco’s face lit up with joy. “Deal!”

And just like that, both found something they didn’t know they were looking for—a true friend.

But will Aditya truly find peace in the jungle, or will new dangers emerge from the shadows?
