MY LOVE FOR YOU IS UNPREDICTABLE
Chapter - 001#
...Bella kaydenist was a therapist at a small hospital, hidden away from the chaos of the city. Her profession demanded distance – no attachments, no emotions. But fate said otherwise. She ended up falling in love with a patient, a dangerous one named Oliver deveron, a powerful mafia boss – a dangerous mistake she couldn't afford nor risk as well....
...Knowing she had crossed the line, she could never uncross, she made a decision but the decision she made wasn't to get together — instead she did the hardest decision of all: she resigned....
...She kept it a secret from everyone, especially him. She feared what her departure might trigger the storms buried deep within him....
...Quietly, she slipped her letter into a nurse's hand....
..."give this to him, after I'm gone" she murmured, heartbreaking. and without another word or second thought, she turned her back on everything – on him – and walked away with tearful eyes....
......
...That night, the house was silent, wrapped in an eerie stillness. Her room glowed dimly as she packed the last of her things, preparing for a new beginning in the city. She had made all arrangements – a new apartment, a new life, a chance to start over....
......
...Tired and thirsty, she wandered into the kitchen. The living room was swallowed in darkness. She reached for the light switch — and froze....
......
...Under the harsh glare , she saw him....
...Sitting at the kitchen table, waiting patiently for her....
......
...In his right hand, he clutches the letter she had left behind, the pages crumbled in his tight grip....
......
...“I'll visit once in 3 weeks...” he read aloud, voice low and trembling with fury, his eyes fuming with anger yet cold as ice....
...And in his left hand – a gun, cold and gleaming....
......
...Slowly, deliberately, he raised it....
...Pointed it straight at her...
...“Once in 3 weeks isn't enough” he muttered, voice barely human, seething. His eyes met hers, dark and unrecognizable. “i want more. Everyday day. Every minute. Every second”...
......
...She barely dared to breathe as he stood, towering over her, the gun unwavering in his hand. The barrel stared at her, a silent threat. And at that moment, she realized — she hadn't escaped him, she had only awakened something far, far worse....
...“what's the matter, sweetheart? you still wanna give up on me?” he spoke again, before she could speak he interrupts her, “are you still scared of me? thinking I'm not the person you've loved? wake up to reality, sweetheart, you belong to me in every way possible” he said in a harsh voice, “wherever you are, I'll always find you... no matter how far you go, sweetheart, I'm not letting you go — not yet” he pinned her against the wall, the gun pointed at her “don't you understand? I can't risk my life just for you... the risk is too expensive” she replied, “and you think you're doing it alone?” he said, lowering his gun and rub his thumb against her lips... “you're not alone, sweetheart, We're bound by the shadows”...
UNPREDICTABLE LOVE
Chapter 002#
...The silence stretched between them, oppressive and suffocating. Bella's heart pounded in her chest as Oliver’s words echoed in her ears, each one laced with a chilling possessiveness that sent shivers down her spine. She pressed herself against the cold kitchen wall, her eyes locked on his, searching for a trace of the man she had fallen for amid the darkness in his gaze....
...But tonight, Oliver Deveron wasn’t just a man. He was the embodiment of danger – unpredictable, relentless, and undeniably terrifying....
...“Oliver,” she began, her voice trembling. “Please, listen to me. This... this isn’t love. It’s obsession.”...
...His expression didn’t soften. Instead, his lips twisted into a smirk that didn’t reach his eyes. He stepped closer, his imposing figure looming over her, trapping her in place. “Obsession?” he repeated, his voice dripping with mockery. “Sweetheart, if you think this is obsession, you haven’t seen the half of it.”...
...She swallowed hard, her mind racing for an escape, a way to defuse the situation. “You’re scaring me,” she admitted, her voice barely a whisper....
...His smirk faltered for a brief second, and she saw a flicker of something vulnerable, almost human, behind his cold demeanor. But it was gone as quickly as it appeared. He leaned in, his voice low and dangerous. “Good. Maybe now you’ll understand what you’re doing to me by trying to leave.”...
...“You can’t control me, Oliver,” she shot back, gathering what little courage she could muster. “I deserve a life outside of this... outside of you.”...
...He chuckled, a deep, humorless sound that made her blood run cold. “Outside of me?” he echoed. “Do you really think you can just walk away and live a peaceful life? Do you think the world I live in will let you?”...
...His words struck a nerve. She’d been so desperate to escape him that she hadn’t considered the consequences of leaving. The powerful enemies he had, the danger that would inevitably follow her wherever she went. It wasn’t just him she feared – it was the life he had dragged her into....
...“I’m not doing this to hurt you,” she said, her voice breaking. “I’m doing this because I have to. For both of us.”...
...Oliver’s jaw tightened, and he reached out, brushing a strand of hair away from her face. The touch was surprisingly gentle, a stark contrast to the tension in the room. “You think leaving me is for my good?” he asked, his tone soft but laced with disbelief. “Don’t you see? You’re the only thing keeping me sane in this hell I live in.”...
...Tears welled up in her eyes. She wanted to believe him, wanted to cling to the man she’d seen glimpses of during their sessions – the man who was capable of love, of change. But tonight, that man felt like a distant memory, replaced by someone she barely recognized....
...“You’re not the same, Oliver,” she whispered, her voice trembling. “I don’t even know who you are anymore.”...
...Her words seemed to hit him like a physical blow. He stepped back, running a hand through his hair, his expression torn. For a moment, she thought he might let her go. But then his eyes hardened again, and he clenched his fists, the letter crumpling further in his grasp....
...“You don’t get to decide who I am,” he said, his voice low and dangerous. “And you don’t get to leave. Not like this. Not without me.”...
...She shook her head, tears streaming down her face. “I can’t stay, Oliver. I can’t keep living in fear of you.”...
...“Fear?” he snapped, his voice rising. “You think I want you to fear me? You think I want this?” He gestured to the gun in his hand before tossing it onto the table with a loud clatter. “I’m fighting for us, Bella. I’m fighting because I can’t lose you.”...
...She took a shaky breath, her heart aching at the raw desperation in his voice. “Then let me go,” she pleaded. “If you love me, truly love me, you’ll let me go.”...
...The room fell silent, the weight of her words hanging heavy between them. Oliver stared at her, his expression unreadable. For a moment, she thought he might actually listen. But then he shook his head, a bitter smile on his lips....
...“You don’t understand,” he said quietly. “There is no ‘letting go’ when it comes to you. You’re mine, Bella. And I’ll do whatever it takes to keep you.”...
...With that, he turned and walked out of the room, leaving her trembling and alone. The sound of the front door slamming echoed through the house, and she sank to the floor, her tears falling freely....
...She had tried to escape him, but now she realized the truth: there was no escaping Oliver Deveron. Not as long as his heart, his obsession, and his love remained bound to hers....
I WON'T LET GO OF YOU
Chapter 003#
...The morning sunlight filtered through the curtains, bathing Bella’s room in a soft, golden hue. But the warmth of the new day did little to comfort her. She sat on the edge of her bed, staring at the packed suitcase beside her. Her hands trembled as she clutched her phone, debating whether to make the call she’d been dreading....
...Last night had left her shaken to the core. Oliver’s words, his actions, the fire in his eyes – they haunted her. She’d seen his vulnerability beneath the rage, but it was tangled in a darkness she didn’t know how to untangle....
...Her heart ached for the man she had fallen for, the man who had once let his guard down in her office, revealing pieces of a soul burdened by the weight of his world. But the man who had cornered her in the kitchen last night wasn’t the same. He was someone else entirely, and she didn’t know if she could reach him....
...The phone vibrated in her hand, snapping her from her thoughts. She glanced at the screen: an unknown number. Her heart sank as a familiar dread crept into her chest. She hesitated for a moment before answering....
...“Hello?” her voice was soft, almost trembling....
...“Bella,” the deep, gravelly voice on the other end sent a chill down her spine. It was unmistakable....
...“Oliver,” she breathed, clutching the phone tighter. “How did you…?”...
...“You didn’t think I’d let you go that easily, did you?” His tone was calm, almost casual, but it carried an edge that made her stomach churn....
...“I need space,” she said, her voice firm despite the fear threatening to consume her. “I need time to figure things out.”...
...“Space?” he echoed, a dark chuckle following. “Time? Bella, we don’t have that luxury. You don’t just walk away from me and expect me to wait patiently for your return.”...
...Her grip on the phone tightened, frustration bubbling beneath her fear. “This isn’t about you, Oliver. It’s about me. I can’t live like this, constantly looking over my shoulder, wondering if I’ll be caught in the crossfire of your world.”...
...There was a pause, the silence on the other end stretching uncomfortably. When he finally spoke, his voice was softer, almost pleading. “You think I’d ever let anything happen to you? Bella, you’re the only good thing in my life. The only thing that keeps me grounded. Don’t take that away from me.”...
...Tears welled up in her eyes as his words struck a chord deep within her. She wanted to believe him, wanted to trust that he could protect her, but she knew better. His world was a storm, unpredictable and unforgiving, and she had already been caught in its winds....
...“You can’t promise me safety, Oliver,” she said softly. “Not when you’re surrounded by danger at every turn.”...
...“Then let me prove it to you,” he said, his tone resolute. “Stay. Give me a chance to show you that we can make this work.”...
...She closed her eyes, the weight of his words pressing down on her. Could she stay? Could she risk everything for the man she loved, knowing the consequences could be deadly?...
...“I don’t know,” she whispered, her voice breaking. “I don’t know if I can.”...
...“You don’t have to decide now,” he said, his voice gentler. “But don’t leave. Not yet. Let me see you, talk to you, without all this fear and distance between us.”...
...Her heart ached at the vulnerability in his voice, but her mind screamed at her to hold her ground. “I’ll think about it,” she said finally, her voice barely audible....
...“That’s all I ask,” he replied. “I’ll be waiting.”...
...The line went dead, leaving her alone with her thoughts. She placed the phone down on the nightstand and buried her face in her hands. She wanted to believe in him, in the love they shared, but the shadows of his world loomed too large, threatening to consume them both....
...Hours later, she found herself walking through the city streets, the bustling crowds and bright lights a stark contrast to the suffocating tension she had left behind. She needed air, clarity, anything to help her sort through the chaos in her mind....
...As she wandered aimlessly, a black car pulled up alongside her. She tensed, her instincts screaming at her to run, but before she could move, the passenger window rolled down. A familiar face peered out – one of Oliver’s men....
...“Miss Kaydenist,” he said, his tone polite but firm. “Mr. Deveron would like a word.”...
...Her heart sank as she realized she couldn’t outrun him. No matter where she went, Oliver would always find her. And as much as she wanted to resist, a part of her knew she couldn’t escape the pull he had on her – the pull of love, obsession, and the dangerous ties that bound them together....
