As the bus arrived, she stepped in, relieved to escape the rain. She found a seat and settled in for the ride home, grateful for the warmth and dryness of the bus.
An old lady with kind eyes and a floral umbrella smiles and pats the empty seat beside her.

Her phone, still playing the movie, rested in one hand, while she slowly reached out with her other hand to touch the bracelet. The moment her fingers brushed it, the glow intensified for a second, and she felt a strange, almost electric sensation rush through her fingertips.Her breath caught as she saw something she hadn’t noticed before two small buttons hidden beneath the bracelet, tucked away on either side.
