Introduction
An alternate universe where there exist a secondary genders known as Maturation. These secondary genders manifest during puberty and are said to be more instinctual and animalistic in nature. Maturation is also believed to naturally align individuals with specific societal roles where they can best contribute.
ENIGMA:
-Often considered as mythical. They are individuals who are portrayed as someone dangerous, capable of leading great societal advancement and destruction. Mirroring Alphas but potentially more aggressive and dominant. Is also unsubmissive, can dominate all secondary genders and that includes alphas. Biologically, they're similar to alphas, but their scent is uniquely potent. Unaffected even by an Omega in heat, and able to resist an Omega's heat pheromones unlike alphas. Notably, Enigmas can impregnate any gender with a reproductive system, including female Alphas, and their commands are absolute. Their rarity is emphasized by their once-per-generation birth rate, with only one Enigma existing at any given time.
ALPHA:
-Are the dominant leaders, naturally charismatic, intelligent, and physically stronger. They are inherently aggressive and competitive, using their scent and commands to exert control over Betas, Deltas, and Omegas. Male Alphas have a "knot" to aid in reproduction and experience monthly ruts with intensified pheromones, which they can typically control. They are fiercely independent and immune to other Alphas' influence. Statistically, Alphas occur in about 1 out of 50 people.
DELTA:
-Are the rank below Alphas in the hierarchy, historically mistaken for Alphas due to their similar biology and demeanor. However, studies revealed their more cooperative nature and willingness to share leadership, making them excellent secondary leaders and advisors. Physically, they are virtually identical to Alphas but are less stubborn and aggressive, willing to submit to Alphas or other Deltas when necessary. Biologically, they are almost the same as Alphas, with the key difference being their inability to issue true, compelling commands. Statistically, Deltas occur in approximately one out of every ten people.
BETA:
-Are the most common secondary gender, known for their peaceful nature and diverse skills, often specializing to contribute to society. While they possess scent glands, their scent is much milder compared to Alphas, Deltas, or Omegas. For Betas, their primary gender male or female dictates their reproductive capabilities: only female Betas can get pregnant, and only male Betas can impregnate female Betas or Omegas. Female Betas experience monthly menstruation. Betas constitute the majority of the human population.
OMEGA:
-Omegas are nurturing and submissive, though agile and quick. They have an appealing, softer appearance and a sweet, floral scent that intensifies during their highly fertile heat cycle. Before heat, they "nest" to prepare. During heat that last about 3-10 days, they are vulnerable and driven to mate. Afterward, they experience fatigue and increased hunger. They occur in about 1 in 100 people.

Like a perfectly programmed robot, he made his way to the bathroom of his sleek, minimalist condo. From there, the expansive lights of Bonifacio Global City stretched out before him, a glittering tapestry in the darkness.
Everything in Calix’s life was controlled, meticulously organized. From the stark white and grey palette of his living space to the rigidly followed schedule that dictated his every waking hour.
After a quick but thorough shower and shave, he dressed in his uniform: a perfectly tailored dark gray suit, a crisp white shirt, and a muted silver tie. He applied a light, almost undetectable scent suppressant – a standard practice. He was Calix Reyes, the impeccable Executive Assistant of Kaelen Monteverde, the current CEO of Monteverde Corporation.
Calix allowed himself a single cup of black coffee, brewed precisely at 68 degrees Celsius, while reviewing the day's agenda on his tablet. Meetings, calls, reports…. and..
Three rings went by before Calix answered the call.

📞: Good morning Mr. Monteverde, what made you call this early?

📞: Why did it take so long for you to answer my call?! And is that really the tone my employee uses—my assistant, no less?

📞: I was checking for today's schedule. You, Mr. Monteverde is not the type of person to just call out of the blue this early if you haven't done something strange or have some unusual news.

Calix said calmly, emphasizing the name of the person he was speaking to.
