CHAPTER 1

Chapter 1

The caldwell family was perfect, filled with happiness and laughters. It was almost like a dream. Everything was going good. Mrs. Caldwell was a kind and beautiful woman, she had got everything a woman would want, money, a caring husband, beauty, loving children. Everything was peaceful she was happy in her life untill one day...

Her biggest son got in a fight and the next day they found him in their shop, full in blood.

The boy was only 23. Very young. He was the sunshine of the family, Mrs. Caldwell's heart broked into million pieces seeing her son like that.

He was killed very brutally, his body full in blood. They almost vomited.

Not this was enough the second eldest son decided to avange but never came back.

The family shed into prices...

The once family filled with happiness and laughters was now filled with sorrow and darkness.

Mrs. Caldwell couldn't bear it and got sick. Not after too long she had heart attack, it was said she had a hole in her heart.

The other kids was too young to understand anything.

Caldwell family had three sons and three daughters.

But now it was one son and three daughters.

It had only been one year since the death of Mrs. Caldwell and Mr. Caldwell decided to marry another woman. The kids obviously protested but eventually accepted her thinking maybe her stepmother can bring that happiness and laughters back in the mension.

But they were wrong, The stepmother was two faced. All sweet and honey in front of his husband but in his back she would turn into someone else who would torture the kids and treat them worser then servents.

The eldest daughter being the innocent and kindest would obey her in fear. The youngest sister being too young to understand anything would do what is told and the only son. Well he was a little different he started buttering her to get what he want.

And the middle sister? Well She was kinda uncontrollable.

She didn't liked to be controlled so she fought back. Ofc The evil stepmother didn't liked it and would often punish her.

Just as the eldest daughter turned 16 The stepmother decided to throw her out thinking her as nothing but burden.

She was married in a village poor family.

Naya lost her elder sister. Her only light only gaurdian.

But still she didn't backed off knowing she have her little sister who she needs to protect.

Few years just passed by untill naya turned the same age.

They decided to get her married to the carter Family.

The carter Family was not poor but still how could she marry a person she has never seen. Not to mention she was only 16. She had her dreams.

But she didn't had a choice here.

The marriage was perfect. Her husband was perfect. They said he used to be a cop but now worked in a company as enginier.

But the only problem was he was a rude person...

Guys.

I've decided to write this story on my POV.

Cause i just read a chat story and noticed that it's more fun 👀

And i think the previous one was boring, not plot but my writing style 😓

Ok so at first Darren just ignored her.

[The first day of marriage]

*Nerves, biting her nails*

Darren [21]

Naya [16]

Darren [21]

Listen. This merriage is just a business. Your family needed states and mine, a perfect puppet bride who won't talk much. You fit the discription.

Next day

Naya [16]

*Opens her eyes*

Naya woke up from a uncomfortable sleep she had and rubbed her eyes while getting up from bed.

As she got up, she noticed Darren wasn't there. He was sleeping on the bed while facing, the wall the whole night. Even unwilling to spare a glance. She thought he must've went to work already as the uninterested and workholick man he seemed.

It was 9:22 in the morning. She walked to the restroom to freshen up while thinking about the events of the last night.

Her mind was a mess, full with thoughts. She was nervous but wasn't the type to show it. Ofc who wouldn't be nervous on their first day of marriage, but then again it wasn't a normal marriage. Darren didn't even considered her as wife.

She walked downstairs and saw her so-called mother in law in the kitchen. doing something but what?

Naya [16]

( Is she making breakfast? )

Naya [16]

*gulp* ( I hope she isn't the typical toxic mother in law )

While thinking Naya walked in the kitchen and greeted her with a polite smile which she received in return soon.

Kristen [Grandma]

Naya dear it's already 9:30. You should have woke up at 6 o'clock and ready everyone's dinner.

Naya [16]

I'm sorry aunty but I didn't knew.

Kristen [Grandma]

Hey it's "Mom" not aunty.

Naya [16]

*Smile* Ok mom.

Kristen [Grandma]

Good.

Kristen [Grandma]

Come here it's your first day. I'll teach you everything. As today is your first kitchen you should make a lot of good dishes for everyone. It's a ritual here.

Naya [16]

*nod-nod*

And then Kristen taught Naya some cooking and told her what she have to do.

Naya [16]

*Smiles* ( Making marrying wasn't a bad idea. I've mom now. )

At dining table.

The whole family was sitting on dining tables and Naya was serving everyone breakfast.

Naya's heart was beating so loud in her chest that she thought it would explode. She tried to maintain her composter as she stood still, waiting for everyone to take a bite and tell her how it is.

Everyone started eating.
