He didn’t like having a bodyguard following him everywhere; he felt as though his life was no longer free. It seemed to him that he was tied down and that the bodyguards were controlling his life.
While the whole world dreams of having a life like his, he himself does not want such a life where he has no freedom. The truth is, he loves his dad very much — perhaps, if given the chance, he would even give his life for him.
But it is a fact that his father hides many things from him; there is so much he doesn’t know about his mother. Whenever he asks his father about her, his father always changes the subject. He has never been told anything about her. In fact, there isn't a single picture of his mother anywhere in the house — except for one photograph in tae's own room.
tae knows almost nothing about his mother; all has dad been told is that she died while giving birth to him. Other than that, his father has never told him anything.
Tae learned from his grandfather that his mother was the reason his father's life was ruined. His father was only 18 years old when he found out that Tae’s mother was pregnant. Tae’s grandfather never wanted his father to take responsibility, but his father chose tae over his father. Because of this, his grandfather hates him and never truly accepted Tae as his grandson.
His whole life felt like a big mystery. The harder he tried to find happiness, the more lost he became, like he was stuck in a web he couldn’t break free from. No matter how much he smiled on the outside, deep down, he felt trapped, searching for answers he could never seem to find.
This wasn’t the only terrifying thing in his life. The most devastating moment happened during his college days, where something shattered him completely. After that day, he was never able to live a normal life again
okay let me tell you what happened to tae
It was Tae’s first day of college, and he was very excited. He was happy that he would finally meet new students and make friends, just like he had in high school. He believed that once he entered university, he would make even more friends and create new memories.
But he had no idea that this day would turn out to be the most terrifying day of his life.
Tae arrived at college on time, coming in his father’s luxurious car. As he stepped out, all the students' eyes immediately turned toward him.
All the students there were shocked by Tae’s beauty.
Not only the girls but even the boys were stunned by Tae. They were whispering and passing all kinds of comments about him, like, 'Wow, he’s insanely handsome!' and 'I wish he could be my daddy,' teasing and admiring him openly.
It wasn’t that Tae looked like some spoiled rich kid, but he wasn’t used to this kind of attention. He didn’t like people talking about him in that way.
So, without saying anything, he quietly walked away from there.
