A glimpse of this story.

Alex:

"You should leave me. I don't love you anymore. I’m tired of you. Let's broke our engagement. Goodbye", said Alex with a heartless face.

All these years of their love just nothing for him? What's the real reason behind his weird behavior for the past few weeks?

Bella:

"I'm sorry Young Master Xiu but I can't afford your love. Find someone who the same level as you. Moreover, your family doesn't like me at all".

EPISODE 1

Today my bad luck. I have an important project presentation but I just woke up late because last night I just watched K-drama.

I hope that I can arrive at the company on time. I felt like I’m in the school running competition, to bet other contestants. I think after this I need to continue my martial art classes so at least I can stay fit.

Other passersby just looked at me running with high heels. Maybe they worried if I might sprain my ankle or they want to laugh on me.

But, suddenly….

“Bang”.

I hit something and to be specific, it is a man. I immediately collect all my things on the ground and apologize to him. To be honest, he a strong and good-looking man but I also trained in martial art so there only light collision. I looked at my watch. Crap! I only have less than 10 minutes. He looked at me with a death stare but I just ignored it.

Without any hesitation, I gave that stranger man money and plaster so maybe he can treat himself later while I continue to run. I already can imagine how my teammate faces if I late to attend that presentation.

After few hours……

I succeed in presenting my project and most importantly I arrived at Xiu International Company on time, so I no need to hear my boss lecturing me to get a car license. My boss annoying and busy body

with my life matters.

 I should treat myself with something delicious and sweet for lunch. I choose to go to Floral and Bookworm Café. This café already open for five years but I have just worked in this area for two years. These two years I didn’t have the intention to go to other places other than I usually visited plus I also brought bento.

EPISODE 2

I canceled my plan to eat because I saw him just entered this café that makes me lost my appetite. Little did I don’t know that he owner of this café. Just I want to leave that area, something on the ground got my attention. It is a picture of a little chubby boy with an adult man and woman but that man faces missing maybe someone cut it.

“Maybe that arrogant man’s belonging. I should keep this, maybe can be useful in the future”. Why did I feel like I hope can meet with him again? No, all of this just coincidence. Even there will be another meeting soon, but I think he must try his best to avoid me.

Nighttime:

My clock showed it already past 10 o’clock but I still cannot sleep. I’m having a stomachache maybe I skipped my lunch today. Damn! All of this because of that arrogant man, next time I will beat him. I don’t know but there something that disturbs my mind. That guy personality opposite with my Alex, my fiancé. Alex knew how to comfort me, always support me, and will do everything to protect his beloved ones.

Somehow, I remember his words,

At that time I felt I hate him because I thought he doesn’t love me anymore and having an affair with other women. Few days before our argument, I saw him at the shopping mall with a woman, they bought too many things. I felt I can hear my heart shattered to pieces. The reason why I came to that shopping mall because when I asked him to go out, he said he already at the shopping mall that we usually went to. So I planned to go there to give surprise him, buying some clothes because his birthday around the corner. But later, I only discovered he cheated on me and even yelled at me to defending that woman. After that, we chose to meet and talked about our future, I want his explanation. We grew up together and I knew him. He was so loyal if he already falls in love with someone. I noticed for the past few weeks, he avoided me as best as he can. He rarely answered my call and there one time, I can hear a woman voice similar to the one at the shopping mall. What is she doing there? When I came to his family house, they also noticed his changes and he asked if they okay or not if I don’t become their daughter-in-law. I still chose to believe him until the end, I felt him being more secretive.

That rainy night explained the best of my feelings at that time. After he said those painful words, he asked me to hand over our engagement, he wanted to deposed its. I refused and tried to console him, at least for the sake of our long-time friendship. I still want to befriend with him back to the past but seem like he already made his mind.

I did not give up and try to run from him. He grabbed my hand, push me and forceful took out my ring. Together with his ring, he threw both to the sea. I only can cry and watch his back as he left me. He didn’t turn his back and I sat soulless on the ground with my sprained ankle, let my body wet with rain. Slowly I walked towards my car and going home. In the middle of driving, I felt my world just spinning and couldn’t focus. The next two days, I woke up and found out myself at the hospital. I only remembered there too many people surrounded me before I fainted. Only after an explanation from my family and doctor, I knew that night I was involved in an accident, luckily not that serious but still my left hand broken and got some bruises. Alex didn’t visit me during this time even though already informed. I spent the rest of the week at the hospital. I went back to my family house caused I felt empty. I felt something bad already happen. That night after dinner, our family sat down and watched television together.

“Breaking news: Police found a man corpse and suspected it is a murderer.”.

My tears flow down as soon as I saw that news picture’, it Alex. My mother hugged me immediately. I can’t believe all of this. Police must be mistaken. I took my car key but my family going together with me to the police station. The DNA test showed it Alex and the cause of his death because of a few stabs at his heart and head. There no trace of the killer or witness, all CCTV records also deleted.

We were just ordinary people, there no situation where our enemies or people who disliked us need to killing. It has been 3 years since that nightmare. For these years especially the first year, I need to go to meet with a psychotherapy and at the same time influenced my studies. My dream after I graduate with great results, I will continue my studies in master together with Alex but my result just mediocre. After graduation, I worked at Xiu International Company.

A week later….

Today is Alex’s 28th birthday so I just visited his tomb. If there times, I will come here and cleaning his tomb because I knew he didn’t like a dirty environment, I’m afraid if he was disappointed with me. Sometimes my family will get angry with me, they kept reminding me that Alex already died so I will not know if he was sad or not if I don’t clean his tomb. “Maybe I just miss him too much. It is impossible”. I tried to comfort my feeling but it not worked. “What I just see!”. They're a group of suited guy and one of them walked in the center resemble Alex. I couldn’t believe my eyes so I tried to catch up with them. If he Alex, why he doesn’t see me?

“Bang”. I hit someone. I looked up and oh no! This guy again. Maybe already our fate if I meet with him, I will hit him. Michael watches me with his curious face. As he just wants to open his mouth, I kicked him as the payback he didn’t help me before and continue running to that mysterious guy direction.

I late a few seconds before his car was gone. What only thing I can see, his car is a limited edition. Who that guy? Is my Alex still alive? Then, who’s a corpse lying down there?

Michael P.O.V:

I visited my mother's tomb today because I missed her. What a coincidence when I suddenly saw that arrogant woman. She busied cleaning a tomb and looked gloomy. There love and sorrow in her eyes.

“Why she all of the sudden running towards a group of suited guys?”. I didn’t have enough time to dodge before she bumped to me. Already a few times I met with her but we only hit each other, maybe it’s our unique ways of meeting. She looked that unwell so I want to ask her but she just kicked me. What a rough woman!

She gave a deadly stare before continue running. My phone suddenly ringing and there an urgent message that needs to me to return asap. Seem like today I cannot tease that arrogant woman. I felt that we will meet again and I will have a lot of chances to give her a lesson.

Bella P.O.V:

When I continue back to Alex’s tomb, I didn’t see that arrogant man anymore. Maybe he already goes home, why I need care about his whereabouts.

After spent a few hours, I went home and quickly searching for my laptops. Even though my bachelor results just mediocre, but I have mastered skills in technology especially hacking. That’s why I succeed to work at Xiu International Company. Based on my research, only 3 families in my country that owned that limited edition car. First, my boss, Xiu Ling from the prestigious Xiu family and Wan family eldest young miss while there no information about the third party. I must find about that mysterious guy, maybe he related to Alex's death.
