Chen Rui.... lost his dad at a very young age..... His mom was the only family he had...
His parents were involved in an arranged marriage.. so it didn't take much time before she married her true love...
Chen Rui didn't really like his dad's replacement..
Moving on from his dad's death was pretty hard for him..
And his mom didn't really care about him to begin with... so he stopped caring...
He didn't like his stepdad.... but he didn't hate him either.
After highschool his mom decided to send him abroad to study further...
He studied Criminology because.. he really wanted to get justice for his dad..

Okay so I explained the plot of the story in my first chapter so let's meet the characters.
Name: Chen Rui
Age: 21
Occupation: His training to become a police officer.
Personality: Quite and cold but caring at the same time.
Name: Li Wei
Age: 23
Occupation: Son of the most wanted mafia boss
Personality: Just like his dad.
Name: Wei Zian
Age:45
Occupation: Leader of the most wanted mafia group.
Personality: A ruthless monster who is ready to do anything to get what he wants.
Name: Roomie
Age: 36
Occupation: Her husband's properties was passed on to her when he died.
Personality: Only cares about herself.
plus she's Chen Rui's mom
Name: Ren Jin (Chen Rui's step dad)
Age:42
Occupation: Jobless, he is living off his wife's money.
Personality: Kind hearted unlike his wife.
Name: Kai ( Li Wei's child hood friend)
Age:23
Occupation: His dad works for Li Wei's dad so he does the same thing.
Personality: sly, cunning. will do anything to protect Li Wei.
Name: Lian Yu
Age: Unknown
Occupation: Chen Rui's senior police officer

Chen Rui came back home after his studies.
His behavior was still the same.. Isolating and depressed.
He went through a lot of mental break downs after his father's death.
And his mom stopped caring about him since She had a daughter with her new husband.

Occupation: She is a high school student.

Ren Jin Ignoring them went to Chen Rui's room and knocked on the door.
No one answered so he opened it. He met Chen Rui there who was studying on criminal science.

I was knocking on your door but you didn't reply so I figured out u couldn't hear me.
Chen Rui
*Still focused on his book* I heard you.
Ren Jin
So why didn't you open up.
Chen Rui
Look just get to the point I'm really busy.
Ren Jin
I came to ask if you could come downstairs for breakfast.

You can leave now

Okay but when you get hungry were downstairs.
It hasn't even been a week since he came back from Australia but his attitude became known from the first day.
After graduation Chen Rui got a job offer at a police institution so he was really focused on getting the job.

I told you he won't come
Yuki
Yeah dad why do you even bother about him.
Ren Jin
Whatever, your the one who made your son that way. so I have to fix him.
Ren Jin walked away from them he was fed up with the treatment Chen Rui had to go through.
He got an email from the job he applied for. It said that all he has to do is go there and get interviewed.
Chen Rui
Finally I get to work for the police.
Chen Rui was happy that he finally gets his dream job.
*Meanwhile in Li Wei's hideout*

Stranger
I don't know what you're talking about
Kai
You are trying to play dum aren't you.
Stranger
Please let me go I have a family
Li wei
Even better I'll send your Dead body to them

Li Wei gives Kai a sign, In a blink of an eye he is shot dead.
