SOME INTERESTING STUFF~

\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=

In ancient times, when the veil between realms was thin, certain humans formed sacred pacts with the Nine-Tailed Cats, creating an unbreakable bond of power and destiny. These rare individuals, known as Tailbound, were chosen not by bloodline, but by spirit — humans who possessed a deep understanding of silence, cunning, and the unspoken laws of mystery. When a Nine-Tailed Cat found a human worthy, it would gift them one of its tails, embedding it into the human’s soul. From that moment, the human would gain a fragment of the cat’s power, often awakening abilities like shadow-walking, illusion weaving, or emotional manipulation.

These humans weren’t merely wielders of power — they became part-cat in essence. Their eyes glowed faintly in darkness, they could see through lies, and their emotions became harder to read. As they grew stronger, they could manifest more tails — not physically, but as spectral energy behind them — a visible sign of how deeply they were linked to the Nine-Tailed realm. The most powerful Tailbound could channel all nine tails, becoming vessels of terrifying beauty, capable of rewriting reality itself — but at great cost. Each tail amplified not just power, but desire, secrets, and inner turmoil. The more power they held, the more their humanity was tested.

However, not all bonds were pure. Some humans stole tails through forbidden rituals, binding fragments of dying Nine-Tailed spirits into themselves. These Rogue Tailbound often lost control, consumed by madness, their bodies slowly morphing into beast-like forms as the cat's essence tried to reclaim its freedom. Thus, a fine line exists between harmony and possession. While the Nine-Tailed Cats view bonded humans as partners, mentors, or even family, they never forget the imbalance of mortality — and some believe that, in time, all Tailbound are simply vessels through which the cats may one day return to the physical world in full form.

Tales still speak of legendary pairings — a blind girl who became the Moon's Whisper with a cat of pure shadow, or a cursed prince whose bond with a rebellious Nine-Tailed saved a kingdom from burning. Whether seen as heroes, monsters, or legends, the humans who bear nine-tailed powers walk a lonely path — gifted with mystery, haunted by fate, and always watched by glowing feline eyes in the dark.

Symbol of Wisdom and Age

A fox is said to grow an extra tail every 100 years. When it reaches nine tails, it becomes immortal and incredibly wise, possessing god-like powers.

Shapeshifting Mastery

Nine-tailed foxes are known to shape-shift into beautiful humans, usually women, to interact with the human world. Some legends portray them as seductresses, while others show them as protectors or tragic lovers.

Dual Nature: Good or Evil?

In Japanese and Chinese folklore, the fox can be a guardian spirit, bringing blessings, or a vengeful trickster, depending on its past experiences and the intent of the humans it encounters.

Feeds on Energy or Emotions

In some stories (especially Korean myths of the Gumiho), the fox survives by consuming human livers, hearts, or life energy, often through a kiss or emotional connection.

Fox Beads / Soul Beads (Yeowoo Guji / Hoshi-no-Tama)

Nine-tailed foxes sometimes carry magical orbs or beads that contain their knowledge, memories, or power. If a human steals this bead, they can gain insight into the fox’s true nature or even wield part of its power.

Connection to the Moon

Many nine-tailed foxes are believed to draw their energy from the moon, appearing or transforming during full moons or lunar eclipses.

Divine Messengers or Spirits

In Japanese Shinto, Kitsune are considered messengers of Inari, the god of fertility and rice. They are treated with respect, and shrines are built in their honor.

In Love with Mortals

There are countless tales where a nine-tailed fox falls in love with a human, often hiding its true identity. These stories are usually bittersweet—filled with devotion, sacrifice, and eventual separation.

Can Curse or Bless

Nine-tailed foxes can curse enemies with misfortune, illusions, or madness—but can also bless allies with protection, foresight, and longevity.

Guardians of Hidden Worlds

In some mythologies, the nine-tailed fox is seen as a guardian of secret realms, gatekeepers of dream worlds or ancient treasures.

In the ancient realm of the Dragon Kingdom, dragons are not merely beasts of fire and flight—they are ancient, wise beings revered as guardians of balance. These majestic creatures govern the elements, whispering to the winds and roaring with the fury of the volcanoes.

Relationship with Humans

Dragons and humans once lived in harmony, bound by an unspoken pact of mutual respect. While dragons offered guidance, protection, and wisdom, humans brought offerings, art, and loyalty. Some humans, chosen by fate or bloodline, were granted the rare honor of becoming Dragon Riders or Dragon Whisperers, forging deep mental bonds with their dragon companions.

However, over centuries, fear and greed fractured the bond. Humans began to hunt dragons for their scales, breath-stones, and immortality elixirs. This betrayal led to the Great Divide, a centuries-long silence between the two races.

Now, only a few scattered clans remember the old ways, seeking to restore the ancient bond between dragon and man.

Interesting Facts About Dragons in the Kingdom:

Memory Keepers: Dragons carry the memories of their ancestors in their blood. They don’t forget betrayal—but they also never forget kindness.

Elemental Guardians: Each dragon is born under an elemental sign—fire, water, earth, air, lightning, or shadow. The most powerful are the Celestial Dragons, who wield multiple elements and can alter time briefly.

Heartstones: A dragon’s heartstone glows brighter with its emotional state. A bonded dragon’s heartstone pulses in sync with its human companion.

Language of Flame: Dragons communicate through a language of flame and wind, which only those with ancient blood or dragon-blessed gifts can understand.

Wisdom Trials: Dragons never give their power freely. Humans who seek it must pass the Wisdom Trials, answering questions or completing tasks that test heart, mind, and spirit.

Dragon Tears: One drop of a dragon’s tear can heal any wound—but only falls when a dragon mourns the loss of someone truly dear.

Human-Dragon Fusion: In rare legends, a dragon may fuse its soul with a dying human to save their life. This creates a Dragonborn, a mortal with draconic strength and knowledge but a shortened lifespan.

PART:2

"Ahh..! Not again...!"

I shout in frustration. I walk downstairs and go through the kitchen, where my mom is cooking dinner.

"Mom, why do you clean my room??"

I ask, feeling a bit angry.

"WHAT do you mean why I clean your room? I do it because you never clean it yourself and go out leaving it a mess like a pig..!"

My mom looks at me in an annoyed manner and continues cooking.

"Mom, okay, you clean my room, BUT WHY THE HELL DO YOU TOUCH MY THINGS?"

My mom gives me a death glare because I just raised my voice and used the word "hell" in my sentence.

"I mean, Mom, I can't find my favorite novel! Where is it?"

She looks at me, then turns her attention back to the pot she is stirring.

"I threw it out!... Because you don’t study. You just read those novels all the time and waste your time...."

I freeze in shock. Did she really just say she threw my favorite novel away?

"W-what?! Are you serious, Mom? You threw my favorite novel out?!"

I walk up to her, hoping she’s just pranking me to teach me a lesson.

"Mom, you're lying. I know it. Now, please just tell me where you put my novel."

My mom turns to me and speaks in a serious voice.

"I really threw it out... and I did it because..."

She reaches into her apron pocket and pulls something out.

"SEE? I found this in your room."

I take the paper from her hands and look at it—my test paper. The one where I got 10 out of 100. I look back at my mom, who is still angry. She’s mad because I hid my score from her. I have nothing left to say.

"…Mom, but you can’t—"

She cuts me off immediately.

"See, Soo-ah! You promised me you’d get good marks, but look at this! You didn’t! So now, instead of wasting your time reading novels, you will study. Got it?"

I feel so disappointed. I slowly walk back to the hall, controlling the urge to cry.

"Mom threw my favorite novel… just a while ago. That means… there’s still a chance I can find it in the trash corner!"

Without telling my mom, I rush outside and walk quickly to the trash corner. When I arrive, I check to make sure no one is around. Once I confirm I’m alone, I start searching through the trash. After a few minutes… I find it.

"Yes! I got it! My favorite novel! Thank God you didn’t get spoiled..."

I step out of the trash area and look around carefully to make sure no one sees me. If anyone I know catches me here, I’ll be in trouble. They’ll tell my mom, and then I’ll be dead…

(Everyone knows my mom’s temper.)

"…Thank God no one saw me…!"

I feel relieved that I didn’t get caught.

"Thank God I’m safe. If anyone had seen me here and told my mom that I came to the trash corner just to find my novel, then—"

Before I can finish my sentence, someone interrupts me from behind.

"…Then you’ll be in big trouble, right, Soo-ah?"

I turn around and look at the person who just cut me off. The moment I recognize them, my mood turns sour.

"Ji-woon!"

Ji-woon is my mom’s best friend’s son… and my worst enemy.

He sees me here with my book. That’s not the problem. The problem is that he’s him.

"Ji-woon… w-what are you doing here at this time…?"

I ask nervously, wondering if he heard everything I said.

"Hmm… I’m just coming back from my classes. What about you?"

He smirks playfully, waiting for my answer.

"I… I… I came here because…"

I quickly hide my novel behind my back and continue,

"…Wait a minute. Why should I tell you? You’re not my mom or dad. I don’t have to explain myself to you!"

Ji-woon smirks wider and steps closer.

"I know I’m not your mom or dad… BUT… there’s something you need to know. I know something. And if your mom finds out… well, you know what’ll happen, right, Soo-ah?"

Hearing this, my heart sinks. He… he heard everything I said.

"…Ji-woon… did you hear something I said?..."

I look at him with doubt and fear, trying to figure out if he’s bluffing or if I’m overthinking things.

"Hmm… nah! Why would I listen to your nonsense?"

I feel relieved. Thank God he didn’t hear anything. If he did, he would have gone straight to my mom just to watch me get scolded. He enjoys my suffering for his entertainment. But now, I’m free.

"Okay, okay… I’m going…"

I turn to walk back home, feeling much lighter. But—!!!

"Can’t you wait for me to finish my sentence, Mrs. LEE SOO-AH?!"

Hearing his voice and attitude change, I stop in my tracks. Turning around, I try to act normal.

"What? Wait for what?"

I see his smirk and the shift in his demeanor. I know this look. He’s up to something.

"Let me finish my words. I said I don’t listen to your nonsense… BUT… I HEARD YOU SAY THAT YOU CAME HERE TO GET YOUR NOVEL EVEN THOUGH YOUR MOM FORBIDS IT. AND YOU’RE DOING IT BEHIND HER BACK… RIGHT, SOO-AH?"

He exposes everything. I freeze. I know I’m trapped in his game now. No use pretending. He knows me too well.

"If you knew, then why were you acting, huh?"

I ask, annoyed. But he just chuckles and steps closer.

"What? I was enjoying myself. Seeing you all tense and nervous is fun for me."

I glare at him, frustrated. He always does this. He knows exactly how to use situations against me for his entertainment.

"So? What do you want? I know you never do anything without a reason."

Ji-woon smirks, thinking for a moment before replying.

"…Be my servant. Or, let’s say… my slave."

He grins playfully, trying to act innocent. But I know his tricks. His "innocent" face doesn’t fool me.

"Stop acting innocent. I will never—"

He cuts me off.

"You will never be my servant, I know. But you’re in no position to argue with me or make me step back."

He whispers close to my ear, his warm breath making me shiver.

"Just be my servant, and we’ll close the matter here. Sometimes, you should obey me, princess…"

Ji-woon pulls back and starts walking away, as if he already knows my answer. He even smiles a little.

I feel trapped again. I follow him and stop him before he gets too far.

"Hey, Ji-woon… what if I say no? It’s not like you can force me. That’s not fair. You always do this to me…."

I already know what he’ll say. But I want to hear it from his mouth.

"You know… I will never force you to do anything. I’m just giving you options. Choose wisely—obey me, or… get scolded and punished by your mom."

Ji-woon smiles slightly and is about to say more when—

He suddenly notices something. His expression changes.

A truck is coming.

A truck is speeding right toward me.

"Soo-ah!! GET OUT OF THE WAY! RUN, YOU IDIOT!"

I hear the truck. I turn toward it. My body freezes. My legs won’t move. The lights are too bright. The truck is too fast. It’s almost here.

"Soo-ah!!!!"

Ji-woon yells and runs toward me. The truck is seconds away. Before it can hit me, he reaches out and grabs me.

The impact.

We both fall.

Blood spreads everywhere.

Ji-woon’s hand is still over mine, gripping my novel.

PART:3

Ji-woon P.O.V

I see a truck speeding towards Soo-ah. My heart stops. Without thinking, I throw myself between her and the truck, trying to push her out of the way. But it's too late.

The impact hits us both, sending us flying. Pain explodes through my body. I land hard on the pavement, my vision blurring. Everything feels distant, like I’m floating.

I turn my head—Soo-ah is next to me. Blood seeps from her forehead. I try to move, to reach for her, but my body refuses to obey. My breath slows, each one shallower than the last.

"If I get a second chance... to live with her... I will protect Soo-ah... at any cost… Soo-ah... sorry for irritating you… but… I always do this because... I..."

Darkness swallows me whole. My eyes close. Is this it? Is this the end?

But then...

A voice.

"Prince Sung-min! Wake up! If you don't get up fast, you'll be late for your own wedding!"

My eyes flutter open. Everything is blurry at first. A man stands over me, speaking urgently. My body feels different—lighter, stronger.

"W-what... my wedding?" I mumble, confused.

I glance around. The room is massive, draped in luxurious fabrics, decorated like something out of a historical drama. I sit up, my head spinning. The last thing I remember was the accident… then why am I here?

The man—who seems to be a servant—chuckles. "Prince, did you train with your sword too late again? You’re so focused on improving that you forgot your own wedding day. But no worries, I'll send in your royal clothes now."

He leaves before I can ask anything else.

I try to steady my breathing. What is happening?

I stand up, my legs shaky, and turn towards a large mirror. But the moment I see my reflection, my heart nearly stops.

That’s not me.

He's like the calm before a storm—silent, composed, but radiating a kind of power that makes the air around him feel charged.

His hair, a shade of jet black with streaks that shimmer like the ocean under moonlight, falls in effortless waves across his forehead. It’s wild yet regal, as if even chaos bows to his will.

His eyes? Celestial. Piercing shades of sapphire that hold galaxies behind them—depths of dreams, danger, and destiny. There’s something in his gaze that makes people look twice. Not out of admiration—but instinct. Like their soul knows it’s standing before something not quite mortal.

His face is the kind that artists dream of—sculpted jaw, smooth skin, lips that curl into a smirk with the precision of a weapon. He looks like he was carved by the gods but cursed by demons. Beauty like his doesn’t ask for attention. It owns it.

He moves like a king who hasn’t been crowned yet—but everyone knows he will be. Every step is confidence without arrogance, control without effort. There’s fire in his veins, lightning in his voice, and an empire in his stare.

People call him a hero.

But beneath that divine smile, behind the calm voice, there’s a storm waiting. A devil who wears a halo, not because he’s good—but because he chooses when to be.

They say he’s the future king.

But even kings have limits.

He doesn't have

The man staring back at me is unfamiliar—his face sharp, elegant, almost too perfect. My hand trembles as I touch my cheek. Is this a dream?

I pinch myself. Hard

"Ahh! Damn, that hurts!"

The pain is real. This isn’t a dream.

I stumble back, my mind racing. Did I... get reincarnated? No, that’s impossible. That only happens in stories. But the vidence is right in front of me—I’m in someone else’s body.

The door swings open again. The same sevant—Soon-jo, I think he said—walks in, holding a set of royal garments.

"Prince, you’re not ready yet?" He sighs. "I know you don’t want this marriage, but you can’t disobey the king. If you don’t hurry, he’ll be furious."

He places the clothes on the bed and gestures for me to wash up.

Still dazed, I follow his instructions without arguing. The bathroom is massive—my old apartment could fit in here twice. A grand bathtub, a vanity table, a mirror larger than anything I’ve ever owned.

I stare at my reflection again.

Handsome.

No—ridiculously handsome. If I weren’t so freaked out, I’d admire this face longer.

"Prince! Do you need help washing up?" Soon-jo calls from outside.

"What?! No, no! I’m fine!" I rush through washing up and grab a towel.

I step out, still in a daze. "Uh… can you give me my clothes? Soon-jo hands them over,

looking slightly stunned. "Prince… you’re acting different today. You never ask things so politely."

Crap. I have to act like this Sung-min guy. I clear my throat and force a small laugh. "Well, since I’m getting married, I figured I should… change my attitude?"

Soon-jo gives me a suspicious look but says nothing.

As I dress, the weight of the situation sinks in. I’m about to get married. To someone I don’t even know.

[The wedding clothes]

Soon-jo watches me carefully. "Prince, are you sure you’re okay? You seem… different. You even forgot my name for a second."

I freeze but quickly cover it up. "I’ve been training too hard, that’s all."

"Right… well, we should leave. We’re late."

He leads me out, but the moment we step into the hall, I hesitate. I have no idea where to go.

"Hey, Soon-jo, why don’t you walk in front of me?" I suggest.

His eyes widen in shock, like I’ve just committed a crime. "Prince! That’s against royal protocol! No one walks ahead of the future king!"

What kind of ridiculous rule is that?

I sigh. "Well, as your future king, I’m ordering you to walk in front of me."

Soon-jo still looks horrified but obeys. At least now I won’t embarrass myself by getting lost.

We enter the grand hall, and every eye turns to me. Nobles bow in respect. My heartbeat speeds up. This is insane.

Then, an older man approaches, wearing a golden crown. His face is stern yet proud. The king. My new Father

"Ah, my son, Sung-min, finally you’re here." The king claps a hand on my shoulder. "You kept us waiting, but no matter. Let’s head to the ceremony."

I nod, forcing a smile. "Yes, Father." The word feels foreign on my tongue.

We step into a grand carriage, just the two of us. My nerves spike—if he asks something personal, I’m screwed.

"Sung-min," the king starts, his tone serious. "This marriage is important for our kingdom’s future. The girl you’re marrying—Yuri—is our enemy’s daughter. We may have made a truce, but we cannot trust them. Keep your guard up."

So it’s a political marriage.

"I understand," I say, keeping my expression neutral.

The ride ends. We arrive at a breathtaking venue—grand, majestic, straight out of a fantasy novel. Soon-jo opens the carriage door, and I step out.

As I walk inside, the reality of it all sinks in. This is happening. I’m about to get married.

People bow as I enter. The ceremony stage is ahead. I climb onto it, my mind racing.

Then—whispers spread through the crowd. I turn around.

The bride has arrived.

And the moment I see her, my breath catches.

"Oh my god… she… she’s beautiful."
