It was a lovely day ,but Akiko was worried about being bullied because, she skipped grade's and had to be in the same class with those who were once her seniors.She entered the classroom to meet frowning faces all around and it made her feel uncomfortable because she was a lively person but the girls hated her so much because she was every teacher's favorite that's how things went on.

Their Homeroom teacher came to brief them about what they were going to face during their middle school years and they were all inattentive except Akiko and the teacher noticed that and was praising her then the hatred they had towards her grew.

Their first teacher came to teach them Maths and Akiko found it difficult and decided to ask for help from some of the girls but they ignored her and mocked her for not understanding the topic.

Things went downhill after that because they treated her badly, during the termly exams they forced her to cheat so they could pass and threatened to deal with her if she didn't give in or if she ratted them out.

Second term in Middle School

Akiko was worried about resuming because she was afraid of being bullied by them but they all treated her nicely and she found it odd at first but she decided to go with the flow. She also because the new Star student and Shikishima the one who was once the star student started to breed hatred towards Akiko She started noticing his behavior at first she thought he was just being normal because he doesn't speak to girls but she started noticing strange things about him like he starts stalking her and she feels threatened anytime she sees him his look sends shivers down her spine.

The school decided to start clubs like Young farmers,press,Arts and Robotics club. Akiko and some of her classmates including Shikishima were selected to join the press club because of their boldness. Akiko went to the club master and pleaded to change clubs but he refused because of her outspokeness and said that she deserves to be in the club. The club master always pairs Akiko up with Shikishima for broadcasting news during the morning assembly and working with him felt like hell for Akiko.

Third term in Middle School

The students were preparing for the graduation party so everyone was busy but Akiko was still being bullied by her classmates.The teacher announced that their class was to present a play and the most popular girl in the class (hakarabum)was feeling pompous believing that she was going to bag the lead role. But to her surprise Akiko was picked instead and she ordered her minions to deal with Akiko they tried to hurt her so she won't be able to attend the program and hakarabum would get the role but unknown to them Akiko was a black belt in martial arts and they ended up being bruised.

The day came and Akiko was dressed beautifully she looked like a peacock and heads turned whenever she passes. Hakarabum became jealous and decided to spoil her outfit by pouring water on her outfit she didn't know that Akiko's outfit was waterproof and her plan flopped.When the play started Akiko killed the role and a thunderous clap with a standing ovation followed she was given flowers and gifts by Vip guests and that made hakarabum boil. Akiko received more awards than Shikishima which made him upset to the extent that he decides to team up with hakarabum to bring Akiko down. That's how their first session in middle school ended.

Akiko was so bothered to resume school the next term because of what happened during the Press Club sessions she wanted to stay home and not to go to school her parents refused so she had no choice but to go and she had to prepare her mind for whatever was going to happen.

The term started on a good note,and Shikishima became friendly and started speaking to Akiko all of a sudden,she found it weird,but decided to ignore it he kept on pushing till she eventually gave in and spoke to him.They cleared up the misunderstandings they had unbeknownst to Akiko it was all a scheme hakarabum hatched.

Things started going to well and Akiko became worried about it her gut kept telling her that something was off but she tried her best to shrug it off.

The termly exams begin and as usual she was being threatened but in a cunning way she helped them and the term ended on a good note.

Second term in Middle School

The second term began with bad vibes because it was a term filled with competitions and everyone wanted to win so everyone became Akiko's enemy because they didn't want her to be among the top 3 contestants because she skipped grade's and didn't want to be defeated by their junior.

Akiko worked her butt off to win the competitions because winning is sweeter when people didn't expect u to win. The day of the spelling contest one of the competitions arrived everyone except Akiko was reading vigorously others thought that she had given up and was surely going to lose.

When the competition started Akiko was spelling words like a machine and she got all the tough words. All her enemies were surprised.Hakarabum and her minions dropped out pretty early at the last round Akiko, Shikishima and his friend Dong were the last 3.So they had to get their 1st,2nd and 3rd from the three of them but it was tough at first Shikishimas friend Dong eventually dropped securing him the 3rd position.

Hakarabum and her minions were praying for Akiko's failure because apparently she got involved with Shikishima after the last end of the year party. But to their surprise Shikishima lost but he still had a chance only if Akiko losses twice,they prayed for her to lose but that never happened instead she spelt the words and her winning word was Tetraoxosulphate(VI)acid after Akiko spelt this word there was a standing ovation followed by a thunderous applause.

Akiko was presented the medal, certificate and other gifts, although Shikishima came second Hakarabum was still upset about Akiko's victory.Hakarabum and her evil minions were in tears but Akiko thought they were happy about her victory.

The second competition came it was also a spelling contest this time it was an external one and each candidate had to write not pronounce. The competition started after the moderator briefed them on the rules, instead of listening to the rules hakarabum and some of her minions were planning on how they would cheat during the competition.

Akiko was just being relaxed and people found it weird because it was an external competition,she told them to worry about themselves and not focus on her.The competition eventually kick-started and the competition was tough students refused to drop, during the third round a student from a different school ratted out hakarabum and her minions for cheating and they were disqualified.

The competition was intense and during the last lap Akiko and Shikishima were the schools last hope, other students started to fail because of tiredness and the library was stuffy ,in the end Akiko won the competition and took the prizes home.

During the last competition which was also an external one,Akiko fell ill but insisted on participating she went there but failed in the second round because of her handwriting and her writing became bad because her illness caused her to have trembling hands.

Hakarabum and her minions were ecstatic and happy about Akiko's failure they danced and drank. But unfortunately fell ill due to the pandemic. Akiko's school also had to shut down for sometime or till the pandemic died down

The students didn't have to go to school during their 3rd year because of the pandemic that broke out the previous year, so they had online lessons.

They wrote their termly examinations online and the teacher realized that hakarabum and her minions were cheating because of how their grades dropped. So he decides to ask them about it, and they all lied saying that they had no intention of cheating but Akiko offered to help them cheat in exchange for money. The teacher was surprised and at the same time disappointed in Akiko because he didn't think she could do such a thing.

During their national examinations the teacher used the opportunity to invite Akiko's parents to the school to complain about what he heard regarding Akiko. Her parents came to the school and were surprised about it because why would she do that for money when her parents are rich and they called Akiko to the teachers office. She arrived at the office and was confused about what was going on because of how tense the atmosphere felt, she inquired about why she was summoned, and the teacher explained what happened Akiko was surprised about it and ended up telling them the truth about what happened, she told them how they were all cold towards her when she first joined the class, how they ignored her and treated her like a nobody, how they threatened her into helping them cheat and so on. They were surprised and called hakarabum and her minions to the office, and they were upset about Akiko ratting them out they were severely punished and hakarabum vowed to make Akiko's life a living hell in the school.

The national exams started and Akiko had to work her butt off to pass the exams. She took extra lessons, had sleepless nights and was determined to pass the exams in flying color's.

The exam's finally started the first paper was Maths and the teacher revised exactly the same theory questions before the exams. Hakarabum and her minions started copying the solution, Shikishima caught them and reported them to the invigilator, so she erased the solution. The exams went smoothly and finally came to an end.

The students were still asked to come to school despite finishing the examination. During that period Shikishima tried getting close to Akiko and eventually made her fall in love with him they started dating which made hakarabum boil with rage. Akiko suspected them but decided to play along with them.

During their prom, hakarabum was so confident that she would become the prom queen, Akiko was late because she didn't want to go but decided to go at the last minute so she had to go shopping and everything. When she arrived everyone was astonished because of how beautiful she looked.

They danced for a while,then the time for the prom queen and king to be announced came, the teacher called for their attention and they were all anxious. The teacher announced that hakarabum was the prom queen she excitedly went on stage to receive her crown etc but before long the teacher took the crown back and said hakarabum bribed one of the judges and Akiko ended up being the prom queen and without doubt Shikishima was the prom king.
