A M B E R ' s P O V

"Hey, are you sure about this?", I asked my husband Marco, after rejecting the offer earlier in the Artifact Bidding Convention.

"Why not? We don't need that anyway! It'll just be a waste of time, and money!", he shouted.

I turned my back to at least breath one more time.

Then, I face him again.

"Look, you'll surely regret this. Studying all of those artifacts will be a big help for us, especially for your comapny! Your company that is starting to collapse!", I said with thoughtlessness.

It's clear to his face that he is now annoyed, or maybe worse.

After a moment, he then walk slowly towards me, and slowly raise his hand and slap me, that with so much pressure, he almost broke my neck.

"What are you trying to say, huh?! That my efforts are not enough?! That this sh*tty idea of yours will be the key?! Are you trying to ashame me?! What do you want?! That everyone here will praise you–"

"Shut up! You know that's not my point. I am just concern with the current state of your company. Can't you really see it? Once, we had those artifacts and study it, we might end up getting some clues!"

"Clues about what, huh?", I know for sure that he knows what I am talking about.

"The Empress' Garden...", I answered with so much confidence that he will finally agree.

"You mean, the popular myth? Are you kidding me?!", but, it seems that my thoughts were wrong.

...

"Hey, Professor Gleason! Would you like to visit me now on my office? I just want to give you some good news ", I called the office landline of my bestfriend, who is also an archaeologist, Richard Gleason.

"Sure. But, what is this good news that you are trying to tell me?"

"Just... please, come here, I wanna tell it to you personally.", I chuckled.

With so much excitement, I almost jump after I end the call.

He will surely be shocked with this.

[after an hour...]

He cam with his favorite 90's Leonardo DiCaprio outfit.

"Where did you came from?", I am so disappointed, because I thought that he is also so excited that he'll be here within ten minutes after our conversation.

"I am sorry, Madam, but you maybe forgot that I am kilometers away from your office when you called," he replied sarcastically, then, "So, where's the good news? Is it the artifacts?".

I tried to prank him first, "I am sorry, but there's no artifacts here..."

"Really? Yeah, I knew it. Your husband will never agree–"

"Yeah, it's not here, because it's in the site already..."

There was a moment of silence...

"What? Are you... Are you kidding me?!", he then started jumping and shouting like a kid.

With so much joy, we hugged each other. And then, we both found ourselves holding each other's hand and almost kissing.

Then, awkwardness took over us before going to the site, where our most-awaited artifact is now waiting for us.
