She slashes through a RAIDER, his torch falling into the dirt. A WOMAN clutches two CHILDREN, cowering behind a burning cart.

WOMAN (sobbing, desperate) Takahashi! Please, save my babies! Don’t let them burn!

Takahashi shields them, parrying a RAIDER’s axe. The children scream as she cuts the attacker down with a single, precise strike. She pushes the family toward safety, her eyes scanning the chaos. A MAN stumbles from a collapsing hut, his arm bleeding.

She’s exhausted, her breaths ragged, yet she pushes forward. Suddenly, a strange GLOW catches her eye—a WALL, hidden in a corner of the village, untouched by fire. It shimmers with an otherworldly light, covered in intricate paintings: towering cities of glass, glowing lights, people in strange clothes.

She approaches, mesmerized. The paintings shift, showing flashes of her life: a young Takahashi training with a wooden sword, her parents’ faces before they died in a raid, her countless battles. Then, a fleeting image—Takahashi, laughing in a neon-lit street, a joy she’s never known. She freezes, heart pounding.

She reaches out, compelled. Her fingers brush the wall, and a surge of energy jolts through her. FLASHES flood her mind: screams of villagers, her blade cutting through enemies, a childhood memory of her mother’s gentle voice, and a glimpse of a bustling city—car horns, skyscrapers, a world alien to her.

VILLAGERS (in the distance, screaming) Takahashi! Don’t leave us! Save us!

She hesitates, torn, her hand still on the wall. The energy pulls harder, like a tide. An OLD MAN, the village storyteller (70, weathered, eyes kind but piercing), steps from the shadows, his robes singed but his presence calm.

OLD MAN (voice steady, warm) Takahashi, you’ve given your life for us. Every scar, every sleepless night. You’re the great one, our savior.

OLD MAN (smiling faintly) And you’ve never failed them. But now, child, live for yourself. A new destiny waits beyond this wall. Go.

The light surges, blinding. Takahashi reaches out, as if to grab the old man’s hand, but the wall swallows her whole. Her scream is cut off as she vanishes. The village falls eerily silent, save for the crackling flames. The VILLAGERS stare at the wall, now dark and lifeless. The OLD MAN gazes at the spot where she disappeared, a tear in his eye.

The camera lingers on the wall, its paintings faded. Suddenly, a new SOUND rises—CAR HORNS, the hum of a CITY, distant LAUGHTER. The screen flashes white, then cuts to a brief glimpse of TAKAHASHI, stumbling into a neon-lit alley, skyscrapers looming above. She’s still in her armor, sword in hand, eyes wide with shock. A MODERN CROWD gapes at her, phones flashing.
