It was a particularly chilly night when everything fell apart and my world drowned in darkness.

Everything was going well I had been to the mages keep Received my Decree of time and Portion of the Mages seal.

All mages at there coming of age receive a portion of the Mages seal in order to strengthen the Magical seal that holds the sanguine Blade in a sealed dimension preventing despair and chaos from being let loose upon the land's.

The sanguine blade is field with magic and chaos imparted by a God long since forgotten but all we know is the time of reckoning is here and to keep the blade from being used to destroy the world we must Keep it sealed as it is our duty as Keepers of time.

I left the mages Keep and went on to meet with Elicia At the local bakery.

I arrive there and walk in and buy three dust buns they are a local favorite and I can't help but love them they are a flakey golden bun with powdered cocoa on the top. They are a little expensive but since it was the day of Elicia's and I Graduation as full fledged Mages of the seal. I couldn't help but want to celebrate. It's quite odd to not see her on time somewhere she's usually dragging me along to make sure im on time anywhere I have to be. I found it on I sat down and waited for what seems like hours that's when I saw her coming down the street passing by the blacksmith she was carrying something heavy it looks like. Elicia! I exclaimed with Joy and went over to see if she wanted any help.

"No thanks I've got it." She replied

She sat down at the table setting what seemed to be three heavily wrapped packages on the table and one seemed to have the initial’s LT on it.

"what's in the packages" I asked in a Curious tone.

"Well Maybe if you weren't in a hurry to always rush off and vanish You would know." She says laughing at me.

"It's not my fault the grandmasters voice is so dull and boring I fall asleep." I retorted Justly

"Yeah, well maybe if you would try and work harder you wouldn't been in his office all the time listening to his voice." She says staring at me blankly.

" He may not have tried during the lectures his abilities in the field are nothing to snuff at." A voice from behind me chimes in with a chuckle after words.

Felix was standing behind me smiling with a grin on his face.

"See he get's it." I exclaim

"It doesn’t mean your strong you Just have talent" Felix says chuckling

"Well now that where all here what is it you wanted to give us" Felix says taking a seat in between us

"We'll Our weapons were finished today Grandfather put a lot of time he's spent 6 year's on each one." She says Boldly

She hands each of us our weapon that will allow us to help defend the Sanguine Blade.

I take mine and begin to open the wrapping to find a Long sword etched with The keepers oath

"Carpe diem" Live for today as tomorrow is not a guarantee.

I unsheathe it to look at it the Blade is amazing sky-blue in color with a sapphire and onyx at opposite ends of the hilt the pommel has a clock engraved in it.

Elicia’s weapon is a long bow that gathers Particles of magic from the air around her and lets her fire it at an exceptionally high rate which is terrifying because she doesn't miss.

I sit there eating a dust bun thinking about where I could go and try the Blade out.

"I am heading to the old training grounds." I say shoving the rest of the dust bun in my mouth.

Felix looks at me suspiciously then goes back to eating his dust bun.

"See you all later" I exclaim

"See you tomorrow" Elicia says light heartedly

"Bye" Felix says with a mouth full of dust buns

When I arrive to the Old training ground I pull the sword out and begin using it on the practice dummy I swing the sword and what seems to be a slash of Black and white flames flicker forward.

"The flames that extinguish the Demons" I mutter

Suddenly a Loud crack sounds behind me as if the trees are being shattered A figure is flung from the tree line and into The grand oak tree in the training ground. The figure lands at the base of the tree.

I rush over to see what had occurred and It's a girl bleeding and barely breathing.

Why does this always happen to me? I murmur

From the tree line I hear what seems to be a very large creature moving forward and in a very fast manner.

"You really think you expect to succeed in escaping at that you are the very core of my plan and unless you don’t want to be kept bound and chained to the throne for the rest of your miserable life you will come back with me now." A voice from the tree line booms in such a way as the very ground shakes and the world around me goes silent as if before a great disaster. A man on a crocodile as tall as 13 feet and as long as 45 feet steps forward with a man standing atop of it.

I walk over to the figure laying on the ground at the base of the largest tree in the forest its shadow overcasting that of what seems to be a pool of this girls own blood she coughs which I knew it was not to late to attempt to save her life I pull a bottle from my satchel and open it cutting my finger and mixing the blood with its contents to rapidly increase the healing factor of the potion I pour the mixture into her mouth and she opens her eyes slowly and stares at me and askes "who are you?". I look back at her and say you can call me luca but well go through formalities later I got to go deal with someone who wants to disturb my peace as I walk forward drawing my sword and the black and white flames engulf my body I say loudly as so the man can hear me. "who are you?" staring directly at the man who holding his gaze on me.

he looks at me and coldly says information is paid for even that as simple as a name you shall pay with your life so I shall tell you my name is agares leader of the of the first layer of hell and commander of 32 legions of demons. I look at him baffled most commanders don’t step forward into the world and cross the boundary between the material plane and hell unless to secure something of great importance I look at him. "alright well then if I shall pay with my life mind telling me why your chasing her through the woods then. he looks at me and says it is of no concern of yours now you shall die he snaps his fingers and immediately as if out of the shadows the world is covered in what is a blood colored moon and seven large creatures with a grotesque figure appear around me and begin to lung and try to claw at me I jump backwards as to regain my stance and dash forward with the flames of the sword burning brightly and pierce the chest of one of the demons and its essence is absorbed into the blade as its body is turned to ash another demon tries to claw at me but I bury my blade in its ribcage and kick it backwards into another demon who immediately erupts into flames and is burned into nothingness as the demons step back as if stunned I begin to chant slowly as I cut the air in front of me the flames spew forth and create a circle of flames on the ground encasing the rest of the demons and as I finish chanting a column of fire erupts from the circle engulfing and eradicating the last of the demons in the circle I look towards agares who is looking at me and then as if by being struck with the force of a thousand bulls im hit in the chest and launched back and slamming into a tree with such force that the tree itself begins to fall and I cough up blood my vision blurry and dazed my left arm is broken and now is completely useless I collect myself to see agares walking forward as he reaches down and grabs me by the neck and days "You can handle little demons like that but you are completely outmatched im a leader of hell I can end you without so much as breaking a sweat-". "so you can break a sweat" I say as chuckle as the force of a sun wells up from my blade. The column of red flames erupt from it engulfing me burning my skin and forcing agares to release his grasp long enough for me to kick him away. "well you can easily beat me but can you beat the Incarnum that little trick I did would kill anyone but me its a self sacrificing signal that signifies for the summoning of the Arcanum Even a commander cant stop the Arcanum. Agares looks and me and begins to speak Child of semoliar You may be immortal and carry the curse but those around you are not can easily be killed do take care to remember that and if you choose to make them like you can you really take the pain from each one of the strikes they would take and carry forward never wavering I will take my leave now and he walks over to the girl I try to stand up and stop him but my legs fail me and I fall as he makes it to her and says " You were tainted and now will suffer a life more harsh and broken then if you had stayed with me" he looks over to me as if to send a message grabs her by the neck and breaks it I fall unconscious immediately.

I awaken to the bright light shining through the window and as everything becomes clearer I realize im in the infirmary and look around and The mage looks at me and as if by second nature sends a message spell to someone to let them I was awake and I lay there being unable to move my limbs I hear a noise come from outside the door way and two familiar voices elicia and felix step through the door way looking terrified as they walk up to me felix was the first to speak and said " what the hell were you thinking trying to take a commander on by yourself even in a group we would have little to no chance to win" he says sternly looking me over as if to asses my condition. I retort " I did what I had to do and that’s the end of it we are here to protect the innocent from the demons and to make sure no one touches the blade or release the demons in the town I was pushed to my very limits and was forced to make a decision that I will live with forever because of what I chose to do the demon also knew who my family was and about that curse. "The curse only you two and an handful of others even know about you possessing the curse but for a demon to know this is bad we have to let the headmaster know-" "NO!" I interject abruptly He cannot be told of this I will not be kept from protecting people I cannot allow you to speak of it. You used Revelations so Even with the fact you are an immortal your going to be out of commission for the next few days. "what did Incarnum Find?" I asked cautiously

"Well" Felix and elicia say at the same time "The incarnum found your body holding onto a girl as if you were trying to protect them and Found the leaders mount dead" Felix says "his mount was dead what happened who killed it?" I asked nervously "They don’t know From what they could tell the attacks to it were precise and with such precision and it would be impossible to be done by anyone else aside from an Incarnum member" Elicia says

"What was that bastard agares doing here anyways?" I thought "Where is the girl" I ask they both stair at me intently as if to question my reasons for asking. "She’s asleep she hasn’t been awake in two weeks." Felix says

"I see-... TWO WEEKS!" I’ve been unconscious for two weeks?" I say loudly “yes you’ve been unconscious for two weeks” they say. well great that means then I can move around a little without much pain hand me my crutches I say softly to elicia. she hands me my crutches I go to stand up but immediately loose all strength in my legs and fall to the ground " see that why I told you to take it easily and not push yourself" elicia says matter of fact getting the wheel chair and helping me into it I say thank you I begin to head to the door. "Do you know what room she’s in?" I ask Felix and elicia Felix responds and says 13 I begin heading down the hall to room 13 and upon reaching the door there are two members of Incarnum at the door guarding it They look at me and say You cannot go in there right now. I hear a voice from behind me say "Its fine he can enter." the to guards immediately stand straight up and say in unison "SIR" I look behind me to see Duke Reinhardt The commander of Incarnum standing there looking at me and he says smugly " you really got your *** handed to you back there any longer and you would have died" he says I retort " You and I both know that I cant be killed so save me the small talk Ill be heading inside now. I begin to head inside and see the girl laying in the bed she’s no more then 17 years olds and long silvery hair with pale white skin. I look at her and ask her "what’s your name" I say looking at her intently She says "Elizabeth" so why was agares hunting you down and at the mention of his name she flinches. "sorry" I say softly I just want to know so I can help. he wants to use me to bring about the end of everything and gain his power amongst those where he truly believes he belongs and attain the power of a god but he was missing a key this whole time someone who can draw forth the sanguine blade. I look at her shocked only a handful of people know about the sanguine blade and only a few people know of the swords uses one of which’s houses the original demon. " but what does that have to with you" I ask in a silent but serious tone. she looks at me and speaks with a genuine voice He wanted me to release The progenitor demons from the blade so they can create a new army to march and take over the realm" They needed me to get the bladed when the time was necessary but it never came about and I was stuck in that infernal castle alone and withering away I couldn’t live like that I had to get out I had to find the one they spoke of the immortal Sword saint and get him to help me put an end to this plan for good but I don’t know where to find him at. I look puzzled and responded I am no sword saint hell I just graduated the academy but I do fit one portion of your bill I am an immortal from a curse bestowed upon my family for gaining the power to burn a demons essence but aside from that im nothing special but you must know that during that fight you were dying so I had to do something I never wanted to do the reason you were unconscious for the last 2 weeks was because I was unconscious and that’s due to your neck being broken she looks at me in a puzzled manner "what does that have to do with me" well in order to keep you alive I had to make you.... and immortal like me.
