"Honey,dont you think our son is kind of antisocial? Is he having puberty? Im kind of worried about him." Kae's Dad speaking to someone worryingly about their son

"As a young kid, he always was so curious about this world. Always studying and learning new things. I'm sure he'll get somewhere someday!" Says Kae's Mom to his dad enthusiactically.

"Oi Mom,did you take my Degenlope CD? I can't find it anywhere!" Kae at the stairs asking his mother looking at her in front of the kitchen door with a cool glance.

"Oh honey, you aren't asleep yet? It's almost 8 p-" Kae going upstairs to his bed while His mother is talking caringly with no pauses like he was ignoring her.

-Kae sighs and jumps to his bed feeling exhausted staring at his wall thinking like he was about to grasp an end point to his frustration.-

'(Eh...guess i'll search for it tomorrow it's not like it's missing.)'

Kae leans backwards more to his bed as he sleeps peacefully for the next day to come.

-Morning comes-

"Kae! Wake up! Breakfast's Ready!" The door knocking vigirously as Kae wipes the water drops on his eyes.

'(I always found it annoying to hear her knock on my door but now im used to it as being annoyed won't do anything except making her mad.)'

"Coming!" Said Kae with no spirit as he woke up just recently and reaches for his uniform.

-Kae walks out of his room with his uniform whilist grabbing his shcool bag behind him-

Kae's mom jokingly teases Kae's face as a wolf because of his eyes and cynical face as he had a piercing glance and a frown.

Without looking at her Kae sits next to his father reading newspaper and ate his breakfast made by his loving mother. He chewed through all the food and slowly digested his food as if he was enjoying his meal pleasantly.

'(Kae Keboriya, age 17, as you can see my life is nothing special compared to the extradionary and rich.

What's the point of having too much money when you can't even be happy with it? What's the point of being so special? Here's an answer: "there's nothing good being special nor rich")' as kae thinks to himself looking out the window looking at a cat.

"Oh! Kae, You're leaving so soon? Dont forget your lunchbox!" Kae's mom with a happy face.

"..." kae sets afoot at the front door and opens the door knob after taking the lunchbox and his shcool bag.

As kae is walking he suddenly bumps into a girl wearing the same uniform as him.

"Eh! I know that uniform! It's hanaya academy's uniform isn't it?" The girl looks at Kae curiously with a cute glance towards him.

'(If this was a romantic drama, i bet you the plot would be something stupid like me meeting her in the academy again and we fall in love, but sometimes life isn't so merciful to those who suffer.)' as Kae thought to himself standing there with his bag while sakura petals were dancing around them.

"O-h...yup same uniform!" Kae says with a frown and piercing glance as tho he looked through her.

"Ah! I'm late! Sorry maybe we can talk later!" The girl runs towards the direction of the shcool which was where Kae was walking to."(maybe..we can talk later!)". "Keeping promises you cant keep...what a facade"

'(Girls treat you nicely at first but as my experience has taught me, that's their way of grabbing you in)' Kae walks towards the shcool while reading a small book the size of his hand.

Kae arrives at the academy standing at the gate entrance,the academy's buillding structure was pretty and the area was full of flowers and sakura trees.

'(Hanaya academy,an academy for the most intelligent and talented people in the world, but ask yourself this, if people judge you by your intelligence and talents, are you even acknowledged in the first place yourself?)' Kae thinking to himself as walks to the student hall to hear the speech at the entrance ceremony.

"Huh? There's only like 160 students here?" Kae sitting down one of the chairs and feeling tired slept

Finally, Kae wakes up at night time by the window,'(huh, where am i? Wasn't i at the entrance ceremony?)'

"Someone must be pulling a prank on me..." Kae spoke to himself and as we got up from the chair, Kae was shocked to see that he was in his old shcool club, kinyama high shcool.

A girl then opened the door and looked as though she saw a ghost "Eh, Kae You're still here?".

"This is a dream isn't it? A prank" kae then spoked to her furiously.

"A prank? Kae are you okay?" The girl spoke with a soft tone.

"Misako i-is that yo-" suddenly Kae wakes up from his sleep as if it were all a dream.

'(Back then i confessed my love to misako on new years but i was rejected. I was naive, a fool. But then i worked hard to show her i didn't need her in my life and after all that work i was accepted into japan's top 1 academy, hanaya academy.)' As Kae looked at the principal speaking with nothing but his thoughts in mind not hearing him talking

'(People can go through rejection but when you knew someone who you grew with since childhood, it's far more painful.)' Kae looking outside the window of the hall thinking to himself.

"We all think we'll become famous when we grow up. But being famous means obligating yourself to society and others...that's why there are people who dont join it because it's a cruel system..." Kae Looking out the window classroom thinking to himself while the teacher is teaching.

"(Well I'm just a npc character afterall, the background character that's always behind the protagonist...)"

Then interrupted by a beautiful girl walking in to the class, everyone looks at her but Kae ignored it and stared at the window blankly.

"You may sit beside that boy over there that has an open spot." The teacher pointing at the open sit beside Kae.

"Aren't you the guy i met earlier..?" The girl looking at Kae with a big smile.

"Who are you?" Kae looks at her with a frown while looking at her emotionless.

"I'm Yurataka Nisen! Pleasure to meet you." The girl smiling a bit at Kae with her remark.

"Right...so what do you want?" Kae looking at her as if he can see through her.

"Um...can you show me around shcool later?" Yurakata being cheery with a tone that sounds cute to make the atmosphere around them not tense

"..." Kae stared back at the window to disguise his blushing.

"Hmm...so whats your name..?" As she responded with curiosity.

"Kae." He looks at yurakata with closure and then suddenly the shcool bell rings like a chime to alert them of the lunch time at shcool.

At lunch, Kae sits alone on the balcony of the shcool eating his lunch, he thinks to himself how it would be if everyone wasn't brainwashed or easily brainwashed by what could be their own mind to think but he talks to himself. "Humans are creatures who follow not by their own path to think but by what others think, so that wish will never come true."

Then a loud bang from the door near him rang, it was the girl in class that talked to him, "wow! What a coincidence you were here!".

Kae ate his lunch and stared blankly at the sky,"you're eating here alone? Dont you have friends?"

"(She must not have any...well i mean she's a transfer student...)"

She then pouts her mouth and looks at him annoyed in the eyes with her cute big blue eyes,"i'm a girl ya know? And that's really insensitive!"

Kae then emotionlessly staring back at her, "deal with it, or go bother someone else."

Yurakata then plays with her two little fingers and looks at the ground, "well i mean you're the first one i ever met and you looked friendly so..."

Kae then felt like he could sense danger from her just from that and immediately awakened by his experience with rejections and betrayal, he knew what to do next.

"You know you look really cute."

These words were what would make her hate him in disgust.

Yurakata then looked at Kae with a disgusted and akward look, "hu-huh...thanks! Well um..i gotta go now so...."

she then keenly leaves him there alone.

Kae then sat there eating and he thought to himself, "(we waste life because it is normal but people who are strong could not understand that.)"

Three girls were talking to each other in the classroom along with all the other classmates, Kae sitting alone at the back observed them and heard one of the girls said,"Oh wow he's the worst!"

Kae walks out of the classroom and goes out to the balcony because of the noises in the classroom, he opened the door and saw a guy with the same shcool uniform as him as he opened the door handle standing there looking at the sky, "(takuchi...wonder what's he's doing here?)"

"Hey what's up you look down..?" Kae with a bored look on his face asked with a tone that was normal-like as if he didnt want anything to do with it as he was just a background character.

"That bitch she fuckin' cheated on me! Ugh!" The man with an angered look after his comment then felt relieved as if all the stress that was built up was gone.

"(Bitch? Must had been the girl in class...)" "well did you break up with her?" Kae responds with a slight tone of concern.

"Yea and she was mad at me, she said she was gonna ruin my life! She's from a rich family I'm screwed!" Takuchi then reaffirmed his tone to frustration with a hint of worry, Kae looked at him and thought to himself, "(in life if you're rich....you can get away with anything...this system is a cruel one but i guess it's better than nothing.)"

"Well, i mean get a lawyer or somethi-"suddenly Kae was in a classroom then he looked over where he was standing and saw something horrible and terrifying, he saw that takuchi was hanging above the ceiling, the rope yanking his neck up.

Kae wakes up, lunging his head upwards from his shcool desk and with a sigh stretches his arms and legs, "takuchi...he killed himself because he ended his own life out of fear...".

"Kae! Kae! Kae!" Kae stares blankly while a name calls out repeatedly over and over until suddenly,

"Kae! Stop daydreaming and focus in class!".

Kae then goes back to sleep ignoring the teacher with a deep stare toward her as if nothing mattered to him. The teacher then slapped him but failed because he quickly stopped her hand before she slapped him, it was so fast that everyone in the classroom was suprised including the teacher, "sensei...if you have time slapping your students, you have time teaching them...".

The teacher then blushed at that remark out of embarrassment and walked away leaving him standing there with his hands inside his pockets, "alright class let's ignore him and continue learning..".

Everyone in the class was then talking about him and his actions with statements like, "he was so rude!", "oh man he's gotta get it now!" ,"he's so coool!".

Kae overheard them but just ignored them and continued sleeping on his desk. "(It's not that i dont respect her, it's that her class is boring...)"
