. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Jin is a fine young man who is right now working in his garden on a grey day with a navy grey apron.
It has been cloudy all day long before the cloud has finally decided to no longer hold back the rain.
Tap, tap, tap, tap.
The rain drops on a fat little green caterpillar that’s lying on Hyacinth leaf in Jin’s garden. As Jin peeps through the bush he sees that peaceful sleepy caterpillar. It doesn’t even realize its own fate. If his parents come to see this, the caterpillar would never get a chance to wake up again.
So Jin manages to pick up the leaf that little caterpillar is sleeping on to his warm house in order to keep it away from the rain. This intensively reminds him of those old days.
Those old days had ended but the memories still always lingered on.
It was such a long time ago that he has been so obsessed with the life of caterpillars and their evolution.
That was 20 years ago, when he was 6 years old he got a chance to have an excuse to allow himself to pet the caterpillar as the rainy season traveled to his hometown.
He would secretly collect many caterpillars in his giant garden and place them inside a glass full of special recipe to feed them fat in his bedroom which was always locked to
make sure no one ever accidentally barged in.
The well prepared recipe was special glowing leaves from abandoned building behind the school.
As the time gone by, the caterpillar began to pile up in his bedroom. Each one then turned to a glowing butterfly because of the special leaves they have been fed on.
But never had Jin let go of a single of them to their very own place so his bedroom was filled with glowing butterflies.
When the sun has fall and the night has come, Jin's bedroom would turned into a starry room.
It was such a dreamy night beyond every child’s imagination!

Truth to be told that “Happily ever after only exists in fairy tales”
Finally the day Jin has long been scared has come. His parents found out about his pets. So they took him to psychologist and convinced him to free them.
Letting go of those butterflies was no different than given up on his dream. His heart ached as he thought about it.
Jin realized immediately that he would be the one to free them or his parents would. Choosing himself would be a painful memory but it would be even bitter to wake up one day and never had a chance to bid farewell to his fellows.
It was long before he managed to pick himself up to open the window and let each one fly out. As each one flied up in the sky, Jin felt like the star was going back to its planet. At the end, he burst into tear as they were all gone.
There would no longer be a starry night. Jin heart became heavier as he realized the fact.
But bad day never lasted like a good day. There was a rumor, a mass of fireflies flying over the botanic garden in the center of his hometown. As Jin heard the rumor, he ran to the botanic garden in the middle of the night to see it with his own eyes.
Although it was midnight, there were a thousand of people came to see the beauty of the light.
Words could not describe how enchantress the night was. It was no mere a mass of fireflies but butterflies.
The mass of glowing butterflies flied over the garden then flied directly to Jin like they know him very well.
That moment Jin realized he did not give up his dream but he had grew and shared his dream to other people.
He closed his eyes and placed his hand on his chest. He could feel something big was growing inside his heart but it became lighter and float like a balloon.

Jin drives to his office late afternoon on that day. As the car is wheeling away on the wet street, he starts to question himself if he still have a passion on caterpillars like earlier childhood.
Deep down inside his heart, he knows himself very well. He smiles alone in the car.
