Bloodbound Secrets (Enhypen Ni-ki)
Ch 1
Note: The story will switch between pov of Ni-ki and Ava (or some other character)
The world in this story is different from the world we live in since vampires exist. The places (mentioned) in this story may not exist in really life.
I walk through the crowds of the new university I have applied. Although I know business well and don't need education or degree, I was curious of how universities work and what they teach.
This university is quite know for its entrepreneurship courses.
And is it my first day? no. It's my 2nd month.
I have made some friends and have blended in well.
Today I'm sitting on bleachers and watching the basketball players practice. My mind is reeling from my business and company works as I blankly stare at the players.
I snapped out of my thoughts as I caught a unique scent. My eyes fall in the basketball player who had fallen and his knee started bleeding a lot.
The coach and the other players gathered around him worried that the bleeding wasn't stopping. My eyes roamed on the students as some of the students have him an intense stare.
Ava Andres
It'll be better to take him to the nurse's office
Coach
Do me a favor and take him there.
Student
I'll take him there.
Ava Andres
It's alright. I'll do it. You can go back to practice.
Coach
No buts. We have an important match coming up.
I tie my handkerchief on his knee to stop the bleeding and help him up to take him to the office.
My vision get a bit blurry due to the intense smell of blood.
I'm a vampire. And so are many.
The myth the humans made on vampire isn't true.
We can go out in the day and our hearts beat too.
But we can't eat a lot of human food
We get stomach ache. Blood is our source of nutrition.
I look like I'm 19 or 20 so I blend in well
Even now, no one would suspect I'm a vamp.
We reach the nurse's office without a single word to each other. This boy is a human for sure. The whole way here I was controlling myself not to bite him and suck his blood.

Sit here. I'll treat it.
I guide the boy to sit on the bed and then I retrieved the medkit and started treating him.

I stand up after treating him and look at him questioningly

*Looks away and speaks hesitantly*

No. We.. are not related to them.
I notice his hesitancy but did not question it.
I gesture to his wound which is nicely wrapped in bandage.

Just see a doctor later. I disinfected it but it would be better to show out to a doctor.

I reach home right after that, not wanting to stay because I was too dizzy due to the scent of his blood. I entered my mansion, my shoulders tensed as I barked out an order.
My assistant, Alex, quickly moved to get me blood and presented it to me in a wine glass.
I gulped it down in one go and handed it back to him.

Get me another.
Alex
But Ma'am.. It's not good for you–
Ava Andres
Just get me another, Alex.
He brings another glass of blood and I drink this one slower that the previous one.

Alex handed me all of Riki's information the very next day
That's why he is my assistant.

This is his general information, ma'am. To know his behavior, I have told Heeseung to tail him.

*I look at Alex shocked*

I'm in front of his younger sister's school. He comes here to pick her up daily.
Heeseung reported that he has been coming here even when he was injured.
I get out of the car and start walking to the school gate hoping to 'accidentally' bump into him.
I see him walking toward me from the other side of the gate. His eyes drift from the gate to the surrounding and a smile spread across his face as he noticed me.

I was taking a walk.

I look at the young girl. I instantly recognize her from the report I got.
But I have to play oblivious.

The one with short hair.
His younger sister approached us and her friends were giggling looking at Ni-ki.
But their smiles dropped noticing me beside him.

Ni-ki hesitates for a moment and looks at Misora. Misora whispers something to him to which he nods.

We reach their house and get out of the car. I round the car to stand in front of Ni-ki

We bid farewell and he turns to leave. My eyes drift to the window where I see a middle aged man standing staring at me with a serious expression.
I smirk slightly and get in the car.
Ch 3
I'm on my way home from the meeting I had with Yasashi and his son.
I know I should be thinking about meeting but my mind keeps going back to Ni-ki.
Things have been intense at university. Some vampires couldn't stop starting at him and it makes him quite uncomfortable. And it's all visible on his face.
Heeseung Lee
How was the meeting?
Heeseung asked as soon as I entered my home office.
He was sitting at the couch in the office. His tone flat as if he doesn't really care about the outcome of the meeting.
I give an order to Alex before dismissing him and turned to Heeseung.
Ava Andres
When did you come home?
I look at him with a questioning gaze since it's odd to see him in my office.
He has been going somewhere lately. Literally disappearing. And it makes me worried. I'm his older sister after all. Maybe not by blood, but I took care of him when his parents passed away.
Ava Andres
Don't get started.

*I say sternly.*

*Rolls his eyes.*

The meeting went well. Yasashi's son is good but.. He is way too greedy. Not profitable.

*I sit at my desk.*

Heeseung stands up and leaves without another word and I let him go. Things will escalate leading to a fight if he stays any longer.
I stand there for what felt like an eternity, my mind filled with memories of what happened to her...

We are sitting at the table with a few of my friends and a few of his friends. Our groups have gotten close ever since the basketball match

Our gaze drift to where he tilted his chin and indeed that girl was looking at us– Ni-ki.
It's Jess. She is quite popular because of her 'hotness'. I don't find her special though. Her dressing style is too revealing.
