There's once a powerful mage said to be able to create portals to another world but then the emperor of the kingdom of calter decided that this mage is a threat to his position because of that he made sure that he lost his position by spreading rumors that he was planning to overthrow the empire,

Because of that he was captured, and was killed in front of the castle gates where his body was hanged, before he was killed everybody was calling him a monster for even thinking about destroying the kingdom and then his head was cut up by the Guillotine,

He doesn't know where he is it's a dark place but he See's something a figure glowing with a elegant blue light, the figure said my child I'm sorry that you have to put through the pain of death I will make it up to you by giving you another chance, and I'll give you new powers that you could use to overthrow the emperor the figure slowly fades into darkness

Then he jolted awake, he was confused on how he was still alive when the guillotine slices his head off, he remembered what the figure said he's confused what do you mean by second chance he stood up and look in a mirror he was shocked to see he's still alive, and he Head is still connected to his body, he realized that he met a god, and he was given a second chance to rewrite his faith,

He remembered that the god said that he's also giving him new powers, He tries it out, and he created a portal and the other one looks like he can take anyone else's powers and copy It.

It's been 6 months since he return to the past, he is training his new powers, and he's getting good at it especially with the portals

Right now he is training his copy magic in his backyard nearby the magic tower of his older brother caster,

It's already late, he preparers to go back to his house then he hears something coming from the forest of forgotten souls, that's were the war was taken place in, and tons of people die there, it is said to be cursed and haunted by ghost's thirsty for revenge for the people who killed them because of that it's a dangerous part of the magic tower that's why no one ever comes in or comes out, because of how dangerous it is,

He decided to go to the forest of the forgotten souls, he went further and further within the forest the noises began to come closer he was nervous and what it might be, but then the surrounding forest turn to foggy winds turn to cold breeze in the air suddenly he sense's something behind him, and then he look behind him and see a ghost of a woman the ghost said, destroy the kingdom it's their fault why this war was started is there fault, why my family was killed alongside the other Knight's family all of them, another ghost this time of a child, what are you doing here mama we shouldn't appear in front of people daddy said it would be dangerous if the kingdom found out, that souls that can interact with the living is still existing in this forest they will use their powers to destroy your physical forms, (the woman ghost) yes I know, but this one's presence has the same presence as the hero of a few years ago, a hero that was saved by the gods to repair the destruction caused by the humans,

You ghosts can talk!, and what do you mean by the kingdom cause the war??? (The woman's ghost)it's there fault why they betrayed the kingdoms because of that the war happened, here falls the brave heroes including my husband and the previous hero and me and my family, the mages and Knight's, that was supposed to protect us from the evils of the forest of darkness but because of their foolishness they were killed

Alongside the previous mage's of creation and reality, because of that the blessing of the god has disappeared from this world they only uses us as puppet to get what they wanted,

the prince wanted the princess of the empire of the lions, but the beast man didn't agree because of that they betray them and try to take over their lands, because of that the kingdom of Lion retaliates by destroying the forces that protects this kingdom from the forces of the dark forest, the protectors even tried to create an alliance with the beast man in order to save the kingdoms from being destroyed by the darkness of the forest but they didn't listen they killed all of them making the forest that didn't connected with the dark forest turn into the forest of the forgotten souls, souls never to live in peace as long as the emperor stays alive,

So that's the story of this place, you're a member of the guardians who was supposed to protect this place but you guys were killed because of the choices of the emperor

Yes but you can change that, you have the power to defeat the emperor and claim the throne for yourself and make this place a better place ,

I don't know if that will be possible the emperor has tons of allies across these lands it'll be hard for me to take over these lands without even being caught

Don't worry as a new hero of this era you have access to new powers that you can use in order to beat the empires allies then take the throne and make this place a better place so people can live in peace and harmony

Our protagonist walks out of the forest of the forgotten souls and walk towards his house, he then starts to plan what he's about to do, he goes to the basement of his house and start to cast he's portal spell, suddenly a portal appears in front of him heading to the vault of the mage tower, he then starts to use wind magic to see if anyone is around, he doesn't sense anyone and steps into the portal,

He grabs the secret artifact of his family the Staff of destruction and walk's out of the vault using his portals, then he ventures out into the forest of darkness pass the forest of the forgotten souls, he slowly walks through the forest looking for the creature he needs, a creature that has a special and powerful stone in it that he can use to make him able to create portals far enough, so he can go to the castle without needing to walk through the gates,

Suddenly he hears something behind him, he looks at its direction he doesn't see anything then he hear someone calling him, (unknown person)William where are you? He froze in his position he never told anyone his true name they only call him James even my brother's doesn't know my true name his face turns pale, he realizes his facing not the monster his looking for, but a monster way powerful than the monster he was looking for, the unknown monster suddenly attack him, he managed to dodge the monsters attack using his portals to dodge the attacks of the monster, he tries to use ice magic to freeze the monster in place, but the monster managed to break free from the ice and start to run at him in full speed, he magane too create an earth wall, but the monster was to strong, fortunately the earth wall manage to lesson the strength of the monsters attack towards him and only manage to scratch him on his Torso,

he managed to run away, but he's wounds are too severe he pass out on the edge of the forest of darkness, on the other hand in the castle there's someone sneaking around the throne room, and eavesdropping in the conversations of the emperor with his assistant, the (emperor)have you investigated that mage??? (assistant)I haven't managed to get any information about the mage that your talking about my emperor, but I did hear that he has some weird abilities (emperor)like what??? (assistant)he can create portals and can go anywhere, he also has the ability to copy and take other's power's (emperor)I see well then*suddenly they hear a noise coming from the farthest part of the throne room (emperor) who's there?! Show yourself!!

A black figure suddenly runs through the doors escaping (emperor)guards follow the intruder *the guards start to run fast as they try to follow the intruder but they manage to lose him in the big hallways of the castles, then intruder used their illusion to escape to guards pursuit, the intruder create ten clones of himself to confuse the cards he also uses earth magic to bend the walls creating different passageway at the hallways making it more difficult to find the real intruder (knight commander) where is the intruder (Knight) we don't know he manages to get away from us (knight commander) you imbeciles the intruder has info of what the emperor and his assistant were talking about we can't let him get away or else the emperor will punish us (knight) we're sorry sir the intruder has illusion and earth magic he managed to create clothes of myself and bend the hallways making it more difficult to find him

(knight commander)*sign*alright everyone scatter across the castle we need to find this intruder before he gets out of the castle

(knight) Rodger sir*every night sky 13 every direction searching for the intruder if the intruder is still in the castle, now let's get back to our protagonist shall we,

he slowly wake up in an empty space it's pitch black but in a distance there's an elegant blue light he walks closer to the elegant blue light similar to when he was saved by the goddess*suddenly a figure approach him*(unknown figure) who dares goes into my domain *the figure said with a angry tone*i am Williams the person that the goddess saved a few months ago who are you, and what are you (unknown figure) I am the brother of the goddess you spoke of, brother?? (unknown figure) yes I'm the god of life, and the goddess you spoke of is the goddess of mercy, I'm surprised she even helped you, she is known to be a goddess that never gives mercy even though that she is the goddess of mercy, (WIlliam) I see so where are we??(god of life) in between life and death seems like you were badly hurt, i'll give you a hint and why that monsters in the dark forest (William) that wasn't supposed to be there?In that case can you please explain to me why was that monster is in the dark forest??(god of life) well you will understand better if i explain to you the seven deadly artifacts of this world (WIlliam) okay then what are the deadly seven are the facts of this world???(god of life)there are seven deadly artifacts of this world, one of them the artifact of manipulation owned by the royal family, the second one own by your family the staff of destruction, the third one own by the kingdom of beast man the bracelet of creation, the fourth one own by the siren and mermaid kingdom the twin necklace of the seas, the fifth one owned by the giant the gem of revival, the sixth one owned by the fairies of the forest the necklace of time, the seventh one is also own by your family the relic of the god of death, right now the imperial family owns three of those, they own of course the artifact of a manipulation, the other one the twin necklace of the seas, and lastly the relic of the god of death, they're using it to control the cities around the world they're planning to invade the land of the beast man fairies and giants to collect the others, but they don't know about the staff of destruction that you currently hold possession of, (WIlliam) so the imperial family is plotting my impending demise already but it's only been a few months, before they start to plan my demise when my achievements got on the news, what change it now(God of life) i don't know, but like the goddess my sister did i'll give you another chance as well, thIs tIme it's not returning to before you die I'm healing your wounds in the physical world, making you survive your injuries hope you make the right decision soon before they manage to find out that you have possession of the staff of destruction, good luck new hero of this era

Everything fades to darkness he wake up in the middle of the forest of darkness he remembers what the god of life told him he decided then that he will take over the kingdom and make it into a better place

then he here's something or someone somewhere in the woods
