The vehicle came to a gentle halt near the entrance, and a young woman in her twenties stepped out, her posture slightly weary. She moved quietly, her steps light as she entered the lavish mansion. The living room exuded elegance—spacious, adorned with opulent chandeliers, plush furniture, and intricate decor that spoke of wealth and taste.
Without a word, she made her way to the oversized sofa, sinking into its comfort. A deep sigh escaped her lips as exhaustion weighed down her eyelids, and within moments, they fluttered shut.
A few minutes later, soft footsteps echoed through the room. An elderly woman, likely in her seventies, approached with a tray carrying a glass of juice and freshly cut fruits. Her warm, gentle eyes softened at the sight of the resting girl. Placing the tray carefully on the side table, she sat beside her, her wrinkled hand tenderly caressing the girl’s hair.
Sensing the touch, the girl’s eyes slowly opened. Despite her fatigue, a tired yet genuine smile graced her lips.
