White Swan High School. One of the best schools here in our town. It's an all-girl's school too.

"Ugh, it's her."

Whispers spreading across the main halls as their face filled with discomfort. The sounds of footsteps echoed while being stared by many.

Mirai Kirasaki.

That was the name. Yes, it was a pretty name for a girl. Such beauty hidden from that round big glasses and messy hair. Everyone felt uncomfortable when she was around.

As I walk to the halls, my head looking down. I can hear all the girls whispering. Holding my book like a shield In front of me as I continue to stride my way to my room— It was just a few walks ahead when all of a sudden I bumped slightly onto someone.

"Watch where you're going, loser."

Miya Sarutobi. Her hair bleached blond, as her hazel like eyes glared down at me as if I'm trash.

"I'm... Sorry" I said, in a low tone. Backing out like a cowered cat.

She clicks her tongue, irritated. The whispers grew when they saw me bumping onto the Miya Sarutobi like it's a crime that shouldn't be done.

"Whatever, loser." she says back, turning her back as she left. I lifted my head up just a little and found myself just standing still; like an animal, scared to even take a step.

At last, I got into my classroom, I quickly sat on my chair and began opening my book. Time passes by when nobody is talking to you. It just felt like you went to school just to be bullied, then go home feeling empty.

The bell rang a few hours later than we all stood up and got our bags. I was about to leave the room when a classmate tapped my right shoulder, making me turn my head as she smiled at me.

"Ahehe~ Hi, Mirai~ uhm..." her words all over, as she couldn't keep her eyes at me. She then clasped her hands together and bowed down at me

"Can you help me for today?! I really need to go home as soon as possible today!" She said, like pleading. My eyes looked at her and wondered what she wants me to do.

"What do you want me to do?" I asked her.

"This is a bit embarrassing to ask, but... Can you be the cleaner for the classroom today? I really can't do it today. I promise, I'll substitute for you."

It was late, seeing her looking desperate made me think about it. I mean, she did say she'll substitute for me. I thought to myself. I sighed and just nodded. She beamed with delight as she grabbed my hand and shook it.

"Thank you so much! I'll repay you one day, I promise!" she then let my hands go and then skipped out of the class filled with joy while I was left alone in the room.

Shouldn't there be other people who should be cleaning? I thought to myself again as I started to broom the floor.

Pathetic.

I whispered, gripping onto the broom. All I did was just sigh.

I finished cleaning the room as I closed the door of our room. The lock clicks and I started to walk out of the building. In the corners of my eyes, I realized someone. She was walking through the quadrangle, all alone. I couldn't see her face that clearly; a bit tall, slim, hair a little bit shorter than mine. I wonder who she was but then I looked at my watch and found out that it was pretty late so I rushed out of the corridors and left the school premises.

-5:30 AM-

My alarm went on, buzzing loudly while I opened my eyes. As usual, my daily routine are: wake up, get up, clean the bed, wash my face, cook breakfast, eat, exercise, clean the floor, wake everyone up.

"Mirai, you forgot to buy eggs yesterday?" mom asked and I scratched my head.

"Ah, yeah, sorry, I got home pretty late cuz I cleaned our homeroom."

There's only me, dad, and mom. We live in a tiny apartment but it's not that bad. I get to have my own room so it's a decent one unlike other places. Mom works as a gardener from a shop nearby while dad does office works.

Everyone is busy with their own lives in this house. Since mom and dad is always busy, I have to rely on myself when it comes to stuff like myself. Hair, posture, communication, etc.

"I'm heading out." Dad's voice echoes, opening the door as he waves goodbye. Mom, on the other hand, waves back with a smile.

"Goodluck at work, dear, stay safe." Her sweet voice echoes back, the door was finally closed shut. I was there, minding my own business, doing school works while there's still time before I head to school.

-11:25 AM-

Combing my hair and trying to look good, but no matter how much I do it, they just end up in a mess. So I just shuffled my hair and sighed deeply. This is frustrating.

I took a deep breath, putting my glasses on and grabbed my bag and left the house. The air from outside hitting my face is like a reminder that 'what the f*ck am I doing with my life?'

All I want to do is just curl up back in my bed and just not wake up but here I am, still heading to school even though it's already miserable as it is.

-1:00 PM-

The class bell rang, indicating the class is about to start. Everyone went to their respective rooms. I sat there at the back, idly just staying silent while chaos around the other girls unfolds.

Soon after, the teacher came in. It was like a thunderstruck me. Eyes wide and filled with glitters. The teacher was with a new student, she was standing next to her and smiled In front of everyone.

Her hair flowy and shinny. Hazel liked shape eyes that shines so beautifully. Tall, slim, and just straight down gorgeous.

"Good afternoon, class. We have a new student today."

Our teacher speaks, looking at the transferee. She smiled bright like an angel transcending from above.

"Hello, everyone. My name is Sayuri Tachibana."

That's when I realized that I fell in love at first sight with the most beautiful girl in campus.
