This all began when I was in my own world. I lived an average life, a student that was trying to finish college and get a degree. But life of course, had other plans, By that I mean I died.

Unfortunately I didn't die from an accident, I wish I did sometimes. But in reality the world I used to live in, the world I loved, was utterly destroyed at the hands of one single man. Of course after I died, I was brought to a world between life and death.

In that world I met a goddess who gifted me a power, a power that after each time I die, would forcefully reincarnate me into a different world.

With this power I tried to save the worlds I was reincarnated into each time, And I failed. So in the end I got tired of watching my friends all die while I tried to play 'Hero'

So now in this world I didn't save anything, I destroyed it all. I was used to taking the lives of others for the greater good, so killing for my own selfish desires was simple as well.

I became the Demon king.

I had no friends in this world, I didn't need them and I knew I would fail to save them anyway, so why should I even bother?

I went on a killing spree, Decimating each city I would find to the point that I was no longer even doing it for a reason, I was simply driven to the point of insanity.

The more I killed, the more heartless I became. At first I still felt pity for the lives I took, but soon I would find myself seeing civilians as mere numbers instead of actual people.

This would be the longest I've lived, And I continued to Kill and destroy everything in my path, until I met Her.

"Just give me one month pleaseee" I remember that day so well, She was not even scared of me, instead just thought I was some kind of joke.

I should have killed her right then and there, But I decided to spare her, to see what she would do.

And I'm thankful to have met her. She claimed to show me why I shouldn't kill others, but in all honesty, it felt more like dates.

But I would soon realize, I enjoyed it. The sweet and gentle way she spoke to me had me blushing, which made me confused on how to feel.

And her eyes, there was no light in them, Just like mine. I always wondered what happened to her for her to end up losing the light in her eyes.

Unsurprisingly, I fell in love with her, and she knew that...she knew that way too well.

"Hey Lucas?" I remember this moment. The sun was setting, we sat next to each other, against a Sakura tree and the leaves would slowly fall to the ground.

"Yeah?"

"If you love me...then please stop taking the lives of others okay?" She Asked. She played me like a fiddle. She knew how much I cared about her, But I also knew she cared about me.

At that time I saw the desperation in her eyes, the fear that I would say 'No' So I chuckled.

"Alright I'll stop, I promise" I responded with a gentle smile. I love her so much, And I still do.

I wish i could see her, just one more time.

"You finally arrived" I turned my attention towards the intruder that barged into my castle uninvited, I remained seated on my throne, unfazed by his presence.

"Why kill her?" I asked calmly. The man who was standing in this very throne room...was the very same man who destroyed my world, the world I was originally from.

"It was Something that had to be done" Even with a mask on I could tell he was staring at me, coldly.

"I see" I stood up from my throne, Reaching for the Spear beside the throne.

"You seem unfazed by the death of a loved one, I'm quite curious on why that is" He slowly unsheathed his sword, while calculating my every move.

"I've grown used to losing friends" I responded, The spear in my hands beginning to glow purple from the MANA I'm infusing into it.

He let out a small chuckle before pointing his sword at me.

"It's fine if you don't want to tell me the truth" His sword glowed a bright blue.

I jumped up from my throne, and he ran straight at me. I came crashing down with my spear aimed downwards.

As our weapons collided, Sparks, And MANA particles from our weapons were flying all over the place, lighting up the entire castle.

The moment my feet touched the ground I quickly jumped back to create some distance between us.

I tried to go all out, but I was far too exhausted, I didn't want to fight anymore, I didn't even want to win.

As we continued on exchanging blow after blow, He managed to land an horizontal slash that knocked my spear right out of my hands.

He quickly showed no mercy and stabbed me in my chest. I didn't react to it at all, I just fell to my knees while staring down at the ground.

My body was beginning to feel heavier with each second that passed, I knew my consciousness was fading.

"This isn't personal" He stated, He stood right in front of me, holding his sword tightly, ready to cut my head right off.

"Hey?" I called out, Slowly looking up at his masked face.

"Could you grant me one thing please?" I pleaded. He seemed confused by my request, but it seems he was willing to hear me out. He sighed before lowering his sword.

"Sure, but I'm no Genie just so you know" He responded coldly. I nodded, before telling him my wish.

"Take my power away... Please" I begged. He stared at me with shock and surprise, But he simply went back to normal before silently nodding and raising his sword once more.

If he can destroy worlds with ease, then I'm sure he can destroy powers as well. I slowly closed my eyes, facing the ground once more.

I don't need to live anymore, all the people I care about, they are waiting for me in the afterlife. My parents, my brothers and sisters.

I could feel the gusts of air, Moving as he began to swing his sword towards me. I stayed put, not moving an inch, it was as if time was beginning to slow down.

All the memories of my time with Her began to flow into my mind. A smile began to appear on my face, Excited to finally meet her again.

"Wait for me, Mira"

I couldn't feel anything anymore, I didn't feel heavy, I didn't feel any pain, I didn't even feel my surroundings.

"Why am I here again? I should be in the afterlife" I asked myself. The world between life and death was nothing more than an endless void, a world I have visited hundreds of times after each of my deaths.

"Why did you take me here again Alyssa?" I turned around to face her, only to see her body on the ground. I couldn't tell whether she was just unconscious or actually dead, but I was more concerned about what caused her to be in such a terrible condition.

"Now will you tell me how you moved on so easily?" He was somehow here. This man...can he travel between worlds at will?

"Why can't you leave me alone?" I shouted in anger. I slowly move to Alyssa's body, before crouching down and checking her condition.

Her pulse was slowly fading, she was dying...and once more, I was in a position where I was useless... I can't heal wounds done to a goddess.

"Did you really think, I would let you get what you want?" He laughed maniacally.

"Why would I let you get what you want, When I lost EVERYTHING!?" He shouted. He was not in his right mind, he had been broken somehow.

"But, I don't find it fair to not give you a chance" He stated. He opened the palm of his right hand and revealed what seemed to be some sort of ring.

He tossed it over to my direction, I quickly caught it before checking it to make sure it wasn't infused with some kind of spell.

"This is the only chance I'll give you" He said, pointing at the ring. I looked down at the ring, not understanding what he meant.

He turned around, facing the endless void, before saying one last thing.

"Remember this, Lucas: You aren't the only one who can reincarnate" He stated, before a blue portal just suddenly appears in front of him. He slowly walks into it, disappearing as the portal closes.

I could only think about what he said, and what the ring he gave me even does in the first place.

I looked back at Alyssa who slowly began to wake up. I was so thankful she was alive, it meant that I could get help somehow.

She was barely able to open her eyes, but she was able to speak for a bit.

"Take...my...body" The moment I heard these words come out of her mouth, I slammed the ground beside her in frustration.

"No! I don't want to!" I cried out. It was happening again. Another one of my friends was about to sacrifice themselves for me!

"I can get help! I'll find a way!" She placed her hand on my left cheek, she was trying to calm me down.

"It's fine..." She stated, weakly. No it's not... I understood what she meant. Because i no longer have my ability to reincarnate, She wants me to come back to life by using her body, since Gods and goddesses can travel between worlds with ease.

But in doing so, She won't be able to go to the afterlife, Her soul will be destroyed and removed from existence.

She will cease to exist.

"Come on! Come on! Think Lucas! Think!"

Using magic would be ineffective, I'm not a doctor, so I can't actually identify how to stop her from bleeding, And I can't do any type of surgery on her since her body is far too durable anyway.

I slammed my fists onto the ground once more, before I noticed something wrong.

The ground was cracking, the sky was cracking, this entire world was cracking.

"Huh?" I felt someone holding my hand.

"Good...bye..."

"NO ALYSSA DON'T!" I tried to pull my hand back, but it was too late. My soul began to transfer into her body. But her soul was also slowly but surely vanishing from existence.

The world was breaking apart at the same time, And I was lucky that as my soul fully fused with Alyssa's, the world finally broke.

Her body had of course changed so I wouldn't be stuck in a lady's body. But, Things such as her white hair color, was kept, although it became shorter.

With this body I have unlocked more powers...or so I thought.

Alyssa had always told me about a power she had but never bothered to use, Simply because she has never required to use it.

Now that I have this body, I had a slight chance to stop that man.

I stood Inside a dark room, no light whatsoever.

"Dammit now what!?" I said, frustrated at the fact that I can't seem to catch a break.

That's when three circles just appeared on the wall, starting from the largest, and getting smaller.

There seemed to be multiple glowing points on the circumference on each circle. But in the very center of all three circles, was a point that glowed purple.

Out of curiosity I tapped one of the glowing points to see what would happen.

...[STORY TITLE: CLOUDCHASER]...

...[ENDING AQUIRED: ERROR]...

...[MUST COMPLETE STORY FIRST]...

"What?" I was beyond confused right now, I tapped more of the glowing points, and each of them had a panel that told me the title but couldn't tell me the ending.

I clicked the purple point, curious to whether or not it would give me something different.

...[TITLE: THE FINAL REINCARNATION]...

...[ENDING ACQUIRED: FALLEN WORLD]...

...[STORY HAS BEEN COMPLETED, PLEASE SELECT ANOTHER STORY!]...

Now I sort of understood what was happening. I have to complete 'Stories' and keep moving on to the next one. I don't know why I have to do this, but at least this will help me get stronger, so I could fight Him.

This dark room didn't only have those three circles though, it also had something on the next wall.

"Skill tree?" I muttered. It seems that when I am inside this room, I would be able to use a system panel-thing, like in novels.

There was only one glowing point on the wall, so I just clicked it.

[SKILL NAME: CALAMITY]

[AMOUNT OF ENDINGS NEEDED: 0]

[DESCRIPTION: Calamity is a power that allows its user to copy whatever ability the main character of a story has]

There seemed to be no downside to picking 'Yes' So I just selected that option and waited for a bit as the panel in front of me began to load for a bit.

[CALAMITY HAS BEEN UNLOCKED!]

"Sure I guess" I clicked It, and all of a sudden the room began to change. It began to shift into a training room? The walls had a blue glow on them and in front of me was a dummy.

[Welcome to the tutorial!]

[Here i will teach you everything you need to know about how to use calamity!]

The panel suddenly could speak, using a soft and gentle but sweet tone. A feminine voice that seemed oddly familiar but i doubt would be possible.

[Now this dummy is the main character of a story, What Calamity does is copy the advantage that a main character is given and upgrades it a bit to suit you better!]

[The advantage that the dummy has been given is two more arms attached to it's back, so that it can cast more spells at once, So think about that advantage in you're head, and calamity will activate!]

An effective way to activate an ability. I began to think about the two extra arms the dummy had, and suddenly two tendrils just popped out of my back and formed into arms.

"Woah" The arms looked like they were made of just darkness, but it was a mix of both red strands and dark strands. Making it easy to tell which magic is which.

[What makes this a better than the original version of the main character's power is that you can stop using it at will]

With a simple thought, the arms just turned tendrils before going back into my body.

[The more things you unlock in the skill tree the more powerful Calamity becomes, so make sure to check it out often!]

I suppose that made sense, Still i was amazed that Alyssa had a power such as this.

[Oh! And one last thing! Each story had multiple endings! Depending on the choices you make! Each ending affects the main character's advantage! So make sure to pick go for the best ending!]

As the system finally finished up the tutorial, it sent me back to the dark room with the only source of light being the glowing points on the circle again.

It was basically a game, i have a skill tree, a way to travel between stories like a travel point, and probably more things i don't know about.

So i clicked the purple glowing point again, which showed me the story i was from, But this made me curious about something.

"Can i achieve another ending? An ending better than the one i was given?" I asked myself.

The idea seemed amazing, i already know what would happen, so i would be able to prevent the incident from happening.

......[RESTART THE STORY?]......

...[YES?/NO?]...

I confidently clicked yes, but nothing happened.

"What?" i continuously clicked the 'yes' option but still nothing would happen. I figured as much, ever since that Man entered my story, something he did must have made the story broken.

But i did wonder, about that since i can copy main character's advantage. What advantage do i have from my story? And who is the main character of my story?

But i had to push those thoughts away, And had to think about which story to choose. I could only enter the stories on the smallest circle for now, Which was fine by me.

Since the story i clicked before, 'Cloudchaser' Required me to complete all 3 stories on the smallest circle first.

Each story seemed to have a difficulty rank, So i picked a decently hard one, since it should have a good advantage i could unlock.

"Armana Online" Based on the name it sounded like it would be based in a virtual world. But because of the difficulty being B+ I believed that i would be trapped in a virtual world, and would be forced to try and to escape.

I loved video games in the past, so this would be a nice way to try and get used to these new powers i gained.

I was about to click enter before another panel just appeared in front of me.

[CAUTION! THIS IS THE LAST TIME YOU WILL BE ABLE TO ENTER THE ROOM OF STORIES UNTIL YOU HAVE COMPLETED THE STORY!]

...[PROCEED?]...

...[YES?/NO?]...

I of course clicked 'Yes' and waited for a bit. I stood there for a few seconds before i heard something pop off of the wall behind me.

"Hm?-" Instantly, 2 bracers just flew right at my arms before attaching themselves onto me. I hastily tried to take them off, but they were just not budging!

Suddenly the strands of calamity began to make there way onto the bracers on my arms, before fully covering them into what seemed to be a more powerful version?

And then without warning the room began to shake intensely, before i was suddenly knocked unconscious.

The moment i woke up i was inside what seemed to be a dungeon. I tried to get up on my feet only to realize i was chained.

My arms and legs were attached to chains, for some reason. I must have gotten unlucky with where i would be brought to at the beginning of this story.

"System-"

"Look at this, guys! A demoness!" i heard someone call out. I quickly stayed quiet, and listened to the conversation.

"I wonder how much she would sell for?" Another guy said. I thought about where i was for a bit, before realizing just who i spawned as.
