The tavern doors swung open with a gust of cold wind, and the unmistakable aura of authority cut through the haze. In strode Kieran—the formidable alpha of the most powerful wolf pack, his silver eyes commanding respect.
As he moved through the room, a subtle energy crackled in the air—a force that Kieran instantly recognized as the mating bond reserved for his kind.
When Kieran’s gaze locked onto Ren, his instincts told him that this mysterious stranger was a wolf, just like him. In that split second, a deep, possessive connection surged within him. Ren could feel Kieran’s gaze drilling into him, intense and unwavering. The wolf shifter had that signature Alpha stare—domineering, unreadable, and filled with an unspoken promise of control. Too bad Ren wasn’t the type to be controlled.
With a lazy smirk, he swirled the drink in his hand and leaned back in his chair.

(Kieran’s jaw tightened.)

Kieran moved fast—faster than Ren expected. One second, he was standing there, all brooding and intense, and the next, his hand was wrapped around Ren’s wrist, grip firm, strong, unrelenting.

(Ren arched a brow, feigning boredom.)
Wow. Congratulations. You caught me. Do I get a prize? Maybe a free drink? Or are we skipping straight to the ‘drag me back to your den’ part?
Kieran didn’t smile. He didn’t even react to the sarcasm. He just pulled Ren closer, until they were nearly chest to chest.

You can joke all you want.
( he murmured, voice low and dangerous.)
But this? It’s real. And I don’t let what’s mine slip away.
Ren (MC)
(Ren tilted his head.)
Oof, possessive much? I think I just got chills.
Kieran’s eyes flickered with irritation, but there was something else beneath it. Amusement. A challenge.
Kieran
You’re enjoying this, aren’t you?
Ren (MC)
(Ren grinned.)
Oh, absolutely. It’s not every day I get mistaken for someone’s fated mate and hunted down like a prized deer.
Kieran
(Kieran’s grip didn’t loosen. If anything, it tightened slightly.)

( he said, voice filled with quiet confidence.)

Kieran Wolfe
Species: Wolf Shifter (Alpha of the Blackmoon Pack)
Appearance: Towering and broad-shouldered, with piercing silver eyes and jet-black hair. Always carries an air of dominance and control.
Personality: Cold, ruthless, and feared by many. Kieran is known for being an unforgiving Alpha, someone who rules with strength and doesn’t tolerate weakness. But beneath his dangerous exterior, he harbors an obsessive, possessive side—especially when it comes to his mate. Around others, he’s intimidating, but around Ren, his usual composure cracks, revealing a dangerous mix of frustration, amusement, and raw protectiveness.
Skills: Exceptional fighter, master strategist, and a natural leader. His presence alone is enough to make others submit. Once he sets his eyes on something, he never lets go.
Weaknesses: Ren. The moment Kieran senses their mate bond, he’s completely hooked. His possessiveness borders on obsessive, and he will do anything to claim Ren—even if Ren keeps slipping through his fingers.
Eli Rowan

Skills: Powerful magic user, skilled in illusions and defensive spells. He has a vast knowledge of supernatural politics and acts as Ren’s unofficial advisor (even though Ren rarely listens).
Weaknesses: Has a bad habit of getting dragged into Ren’s schemes. Often sighs in disappointment but still follows along
