Far beyond the world we see, hidden behind shimmering curtains of light, lies the Guardian World—a realm of pure magic.
Imagine a place where giant, crystalline towers, like frozen waterfalls of light, pierce skies painted with swirling colors. These colors shift and dance, creating patterns that look like living rainbows. Creatures made of starlight and shadow, their forms fluid and graceful, glide through the air, their movements like a silent, beautiful dance. This isn't just a place; it's a world alive with power, a world that pulses with the very heartbeat of magic.
God lives here, in the heart of this radiant world. He's a being of immense light and warmth, his presence filling every corner of this magical realm. He walks among his Guardians like a kind father, his voice a gentle breeze or a booming symphony. "My children," he says, his affection palpable, "You know how much I love humans? They are fragile, precious things. You need to love them too. Take care of them, guide them, and do your best." His words carry the weight of creation, yet they are spoken with a gentle, fatherly kindness.
The Guardians, beings of pure, potent light, are the protectors of humanity. They undergo rigorous training, mastering the art of observation and subtle intervention. They learn to understand the intricate dance of human emotions, the delicate balance between joy and sorrow, hope and despair. They study their smiles, their tears, their fears. They learn to shield them from harm without altering their destinies, to guide them without being seen. It's a demanding task, a sacred duty, and they train hard to do their job well.
Among the Guardians, five stand as paragons of strength and wisdom. They are the leaders, the exemplars, the most majestic of their kind. They have excelled in every trial, mastered every skill, and earned the respect of all. Their presence radiates power, their voices carry the weight of divine authority.
* Lion: He shines with yellow light, his mane a shimmering gold, his voice a powerful roar that echoes through the crystalline halls, commanding respect and awe.
* Panther: He glows with blue light, moving with silent grace, his sleek form gliding through the shadows, his eyes gleaming with ancient wisdom.
* Cheetah: He blurs with green light, swift and precise, his movements a blur of focused energy, an unmatched agility that leaves others in awe.
* Horse: He radiates red light, majestic and powerful, his presence a symbol of unwavering strength and steadfast loyalty, a beacon of stability.
* And then, there's Hyena.
He's a Guardian of unparalleled strength, second only to God himself. He's a master of his duties, a being of cold, focused intent. But he's also a lone figure, a silent enigma who rejects the warmth and camaraderie that fills this realm. He moves through the shining cities like a ghost, cloaked in black light, his presence a quiet, unsettling mystery.
"Hyena," God says, his voice softer, a hint of concern beneath the gentle tone, "Why do you remain so distant? Why do you shun the bonds that connect us?"
"I have no use for such unnecessary emotions," Hyena replies, his voice cool and detached, his gaze fixed on the distant human world. He carries himself with an aura of quiet power, a silent threat that keeps even the strongest Guardians at bay. He is a being of pure function, an emotionless force in a world of vibrant feelings.
Who is this Hyena? What shadows lie within him that make him so different? Why does he reject the very essence of this world?
He offers no answers, his attention focused on the human realm, where a baby named Sofiya is about to take her first breath. A new assignment, a new human to watch over. And neither he nor she knows how profoundly their lives are about to intertwine.
This world of magic, with its majestic leaders—Lion, Panther, Cheetah, Horse, and Hyena—and its all-loving God, is about to witness a transformation. And Hyena, the feared and emotionless Guardian, is about to learn the true meaning of connection, whether he desires it or not.
Hyena was an oddity in the Guardian World.
He’d mastered every skill, every lesson, long before anyone else. He was the strongest, the most efficient.
Feared, even by The great Guardians, Lion, Panther, Cheetah, and Horse, treated him with a cautious respect, their voices hushed when he passed. He was their colleague, but never their friend, a silent figure in a world of vibrant light.
“He’s like a shadow,” one Guardian whispered to another, their voices barely audible.“Cold, Unfeeling.” how can he be like this like
“A monster,” another said , their eyes flicking towards Hyena’s distant figure.
“They say he’s never felt a thing. Not a flicker.”
Monster, Shadow, Cold, Hyena heard them from distance crystal clear, of course. He always did. He just didn’t care.
I don’t have time for this nonsense, he thought, his gaze fixed on the distant human realm.
He moved through the shining cities of the Guardian World, a silent figure in a place of vibrant light. He preferred the quiet, the solitude, the clear, logical order of things.
He didn’t understand humans, or their emotions. They were messy, illogical. He saw them as ants, busy and chaotic. he thoughts why do they laugh , cry , they cling to each other, seeking comfort in meaningless physical contact? He couldn’t comprehend it.
It was a puzzle he had no desire to solve.
Suddenly, a shimmering, bird-like creature, a messenger of pure magic, landed before him.
Its wings shimmered with iridescent light, its eyes holding ancient wisdom. It chirped, its voice a melodic chime, and a scroll unfurled, revealing a message written in flowing, golden script. Hyena read the message, his brow furrowing, a rare display of annoyance.
“New assignment,” he muttered, his voice flat and devoid of emotion. “A human.”
Another annoying distraction, he thought. Just what I need. He didn’t like being pulled away from his studies, from his solitude. He had more important things to do, things that actually mattered.
“Sofia,” the bird chirped, its voice echoing with divine authority, a tone that brooked no argument. “You will be with her, closely.”
Hyena’s eyes narrowed, a flicker of something akin to irritation flashing across his usually impassive face. “Why?”
The bird simply chirped again, its eyes shimmering with a knowing light, a hint of amusement in their depths. Then, with a swirl of light, it vanished, leaving Hyena alone with his thoughts.
Hyena stared at the empty space, his expression unreadable. He didn’t like this. He didn’t like being told what to do, especially when he didn’t understand the purpose. He didn’t like the implication that he was lacking something, some essential understanding of a concept he found utterly pointless.
Humanity. A waste of energy, a distraction from the real work.
“Fine,” he said, his voice cold and clipped. “Let’s see this Sofia.” He knew, without being told, that this wasn’t a request. It was an order. God’s order.
He said to himself : so annoying , what god thinking assigning a human ? To me ?.....after long sigh !!!....sofiya huh!
Somewhere, far away and yet close, God chuckled, a sound like distant thunder. He knew Hyena was wrong.
He knew that this assignment, this human named Sofia, would change everything. Hyena’s aloof, emotionless existence was about to be turned upside down. The perfect machine was about to learn what it meant to feel, whether he wanted to or not.
Today, Sofia about to come to this world.
Hyena found himself standing outside the birthing room, before she even born ,a sterile, brightly lit space that hummed with human activity.
What am I even doing Here?, he thought.his brow furrowed, a rare display of confusion.
This is pointless and A waste of energy.
He turned to leave, the chaotic energy of the human world grating on his ordered senses, a discordant symphony of beeping machines and hushed voices.
Then, a sharp, piercing cry echoed from within the room, cutting through the sterile silence. A newborn's cry. It was Sofia.
Before he knew it, he was inside, drawn by an impulse he couldn't explain, an involuntary pull that defied his logical mind.
He watched as the medical staff tended to the infant, their movements efficient and practiced, their expressions a mix of professional detachment and quiet awe.
The mother lay exhausted, her eyes closed, her breathing shallow, while the baby, now cleaned and swaddled, was placed in a small, transparent cradle.
Sofia slept soundly, her tiny chest rising and falling rhythmically, her dark lashes resting against her smooth, brown cheeks.
Hyena watched her, his expression impassive, his mind cataloging every detail. Then, her dark eyes fluttered open, wide and curious.
She looked directly at him, her gaze unwavering.
"How dare you a mere human to look at me straight at my eyes" hyena said to her
A wide, toothless grin spread across her face, a smile that radiated pure, unfiltered joy, a light that seemed to fill the sterile room.
Hyena, despite his attempts to remain aloof, felt a strange warmth stir within him, a sensation as foreign as it was unsettling.
"Fine, I would let you go this time" while sulking hyena said to her
She reached out a tiny hand, her fingers grasping at the air, her movements clumsy and uncoordinated.
Hyena found himself drawn closer, an involuntary movement he couldn't quite control, his feet moving of their own accord.
Sofia’s tiny hand clasped around his finger, her grip surprisingly strong. Her smile grew brighter, and she cooed softly, a sound that seemed to vibrate through him, a gentle resonance that echoed in his usually silent mind.
He gave her a cold, emotionless look, trying to regain his composure, to reassert control over his errant emotions. But the warmth of her smile, the innocent joy in her eyes, contradicted his efforts, melting the ice around his heart.
Then, to his utter surprise, she began to suck on his finger, her tiny mouth working with surprising strength, her dark eyes fixed on his.
Hyena froze, stunned, his mind blank. He, the emotionless Guardian, the master of control, was being held captive by a newborn's tiny grasp, her innocent joy a foreign and unsettling sensation.
The room filled with the sounds of human voices, parents and relatives arriving to see the newborn, their voices a mix of hushed excitement and casual observation.
"Why is she so much darker than us?" Sofia's mother asked, her voice laced with a hint of disappointment, a subtle undercurrent of unease. "I thought she'd be at least a little fair, like you or me."
Hyena frowned, his brow furrowing, his mind struggling to comprehend their concern. Why do they even care? He thought, his gaze shifting between Sofia and her mother. It's just skin. A meaningless difference.
Sofia's father chuckled, but there was a tension in his smile, a forced lightness. "She's beautiful," he said, avoiding a direct answer.
Relatives arrived, their eyes lingering on Sofia's skin, their expressions a mix of curiosity and subtle disapproval. "Quite dark, isn't she?" one remarked, their tone casual but cutting, a casual cruelty that made Hyena’s frown deepen.
"Not like the rest of the family."
I don't get it, he thought, his mind racing, trying to process their illogical reactions.
I think She's…cute. He paused, his thoughts freezing mid-sentence, a strange, unfamiliar warmth spreading through him. Cute? What am I thinking?
Sofia, oblivious to their words, continued to smile, her dark eyes shining with innocent joy.
Hyena watched, a strange mix of emotions stirring within him, a chaotic storm of unfamiliar sensations.
He saw the parents' fleeting discomfort, the relatives' casual cruelty. He didn't understand their obsession with skin color. It seemed pointless, a waste of emotional energy.
But he saw Sofia's unwavering joy, her pure, radiant warmth.
It was a warmth that defied the coldness of the room, the casual prejudice in their words, a light that seemed to draw him in, against his will.
He didn't understand the pull he felt towards her, the strange fascination that held his gaze captive. But he knew, with a growing unease, that this brown-skinned baby, with her radiant smile, was going to change everything.
