\#ADDICTED
EP.1- Little thief
AT LARSON ESTATE - PRIVATE GARDEN NIGHT
A grand mansion looms over a lavish garden. Fairy lights twinkle in the darkness.
A CHILD’S LAUGHTER echoes.
YOUNG MATTHEW (9), dressed in a tailored suit, stands near a large fountain, his sharp eyes observing a little girl who hides behind a rose bush.
YOUNG LAURA (9), wearing a delicate white dress, peeks out. Her bright eyes flicker with mischief as she clutches a small stolen trinket one of Matthew’s cufflinks.
MATTHEW (grinning)
"You took something of mine."
LAURA (teasing)
"Finders keepers."
He steps closer, but she dashes away, laughing. Matthew smirks
'This girl is different. For the first time, someone isn’t afraid of me'
LAURA looks at him in the eyes and MATTHEW looks back at her.
"Let's be friends, my name is Laura"
She smiled at him.
"O..Ok" Matthew answer.
From the outside he looks like a bad boy but in the inside he is a very cute and a shy little boy.
AT THE GRAND BALLROOM
(TEN YEARS LATER)
Elegant guests sway to soft music. The atmosphere is rich with power and whispered deals. Among them, an 19-year-old Laura stands in a crimson dress, poised yet distant. She feels his gaze before she sees him.
MATTHEW (19), now a striking man, approaches confidently.
MATTHEW (smirking)
" Still running, little thief?"
LAURA (soft laugh)
"Still chasing, Larson?"
Their eyes lock. The air between them crackles. For years, they have danced around each other—innocent childhood games turned into something more dangerous.
He extends a hand. She hesitates but takes it.
Their first dance marks the beginning of a love that will burn through the years, full of secrets, passion, and danger.
A few hours later..
AT THE LUXURY PENTHOUSE
Moonlight spills through the floor-to-ceiling windows, casting shadows over silk sheets. Laura stands by the glass, her breath uneven as Matthew steps behind her.
MATTHEW (softly, possessive)
"You're mine, Laura. You know that, don’t you?"
She turns, their eyes locking. He cups her face, tracing his thumb over her lips before pulling her into a kiss—slow, deep, consuming.
The night is theirs.
Hand in hand, Matthew and Laura arrive. Eyes follow them some envious, others filled with silent admiration. Laura, in a dazzling dress, radiates elegance. Matthew, ever the powerful mafia prince, exudes dominance beside her.
"She’s lucky. He never looked at any woman like that before."
"Lucky? Or cursed? No one leaves Matthew Larson."
He guides her to the dance floor, pulling her close. Their chemistry is intoxicating.
MATTHEW (low, against her ear)
" I want more than stolen moments, Laura. Be mine. Fully."
She swallows hard, his words sinking in. There’s no escaping Matthew.
Not when he loves her this deeply.
Laura has to left first because tomorrow she has a task to do for her work.
"Good night... and don't dream so much about me"
Laura laugh.
He then give a soft kiss to her lip and after that she left to her apartment.
Laura sits alone, running her fingers over a small velvet box on the table. Her heart races. She knows what’s inside a ring.
Then a knock. Firm. Unrelenting. She freezes.
A male voice
"Laura. Open the door. "
....
"Open the freaking door. Now!!"
Her breath catches. That’s not Matthew’s voice.

The knocking turns into pounding sharp, relentless.
"Laura. Don’t make me do this. Open the damn door."
She clutches the velvet ring box in her hand, her fingers trembling. One last breath. She walks to the door and opens it.
It was JAKE.
Disheveled, shirt stained with blood and soot. Rage burns behind his eyes, but there’s something deeper, hurt.
JAKE voice shaking
"You were mine. You said forever."
"Forever ended the day you disappeared into that world without me."
"I left to protect you. And now? You’re with him?"
She doesn’t answer. That silence speaks louder than any confession.
"He’s not love, Laura. He’s a storm. And you’re standing in the middle, blind."
"Maybe I like the way it feels."
"He’ll ruin you."
He steps closer. Too close.
"Let me fix this. Come with me. Right now."
She lifts the ring box between them. Jake looks at it like it's poison.
"It’s already too late."
She shuts the door in his face and locks it.
Laura slumps to the floor, her back against the door. Her eyes well with tears, but she doesn’t let them fall. She just stares at the box.
Such an unexpected nightmare
AT MATTHEW’S OFFICE
Matte black walls. Dim lighting. Monitors show security feeds Laura’s building, her hallway.
Matthew watches Jake storm out. His jaw tightens.
MATTHEW quietly.
"He touched her door."
He reaches for his phone.
"Make him disappear. Tonight. I don’t want a body. I want silence."
It was short but clear. He want Jake to disappear and that is a piece of cake. So easy. Not exciting at all.
AT A ROOFTOP BAR
The city sprawls below. Lights shimmer like broken glass. Laura sits across from SOPHIE, her childhood best friend, now a high-end divorce lawyer.
"I thought you swore off men with guns and God complexes?"
LAURA dryly answer
"Apparently, I have a type."
"You know what they call girls like us who fall for men like them?"
"Dead?"
"Worse. Owned."
Laura sips her drink, eyes distant.
"Maybe being owned is better than being alone."
Sophie’s expression softens. She reaches for Laura’s hand.
"No. Not for you."
Laura’s phone buzzes.
'I'm here my love'
"I guess he is here". Sophie say it with a side eyes.
"Yes, I guess I have to go."
"Yes yes, I know your man will always be your number one."
They laughing and hugging each other and after that Laura left.
She goes down the elevator and the first thing she saw was a tall handsome man in a black suits waiting for her. And that man is no other than Matthew Larson.
Her man, she guess...
AT THE PARKING GARAGE
Jake unlocks his car, glancing around. The air is too still.
JAKE sarcastic
"What, no dramatic ambush?"
He turns the key.
Nothing.
Then—
A SHADOW MOVES.
He reaches for his gun and it was too late.
BANG
It echoes like thunder in a coffin.
Jake collapses, blood spreading beneath him like spilled ink.
A SILENCED VOICE in the darkness
"You have played with fire. JAKE FONDERS"
