chapter 1

Sita's Pov :

I woke up in my room-the one I used before marriage. A strange wave of emotions washed over me as memories flooded my mind. My last moments. The unbearable pain of watching him lay in my arms, blood staining my hands. His last words echoed in my mind-

"𝙸𝚝'𝚜 𝚢𝚘𝚞. 𝙸𝚝'𝚜 𝚊𝚕𝚠𝚊𝚢𝚜 𝚢𝚘𝚞. 𝙸 𝚕𝚘𝚟𝚎 𝚢𝚘𝚞, 𝚂𝚒𝚝𝚊. 𝙼𝚘𝚛𝚎 𝚝𝚑𝚊𝚗 𝙸 𝚌𝚊𝚗 𝚎𝚟𝚎𝚛 𝚕𝚘𝚟𝚎 𝚖𝚢𝚜𝚎𝚕𝚏" With those words, he took his final breath. And then, I too, took mine.

Yet, here I was. Alive. In my old room.

My eyes darted around, trying to make sense of everything. My phone lay on the table, exactly where I used to keep it. I grabbed it, my hands trembling, and checked the date. It was the same day-

The day Amma threw a bomb on me.

I could still remember my reaction-shocked, angry, bewildered.

The day she told me I had to marry... my cousin?! No, wait. We don't even know each other!

I laughed at my own ridiculous thought. No, she wanted me to marry someone else. Someone I never had the chance to meet properly.

But this time, I wouldn't let that happen. This time,

"𝑰 𝑤𝑎𝑛𝑡𝑒𝑑 𝑡𝑜 𝑠𝑒𝑒 𝘩𝑖𝑚, 𝑀𝑒𝑒𝑡 𝘩𝑖𝑚, 𝐴𝑛𝑑 𝑚𝑎𝑘𝑒 𝑠𝑢𝑟𝑒 𝘩𝑒 𝑤𝑜𝑢𝑙𝑑𝑛’𝑡 𝑒𝑠𝑐𝑎𝑝𝑒 𝑓𝑟𝑜𝑚 𝑚𝑒, 𝑁𝑜𝑡 𝑖𝑛 𝑡𝘩𝑖𝑠 𝑙𝑖𝑓𝑒, 𝑁𝑜𝑡 𝑖𝑛 𝑠𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑛 𝑙𝑖𝑣𝑒𝑠."

Just then, a knock on the door. I knew it was Amma. But still, I pretended to sleep, just for the drama. And, of course, she being she, came right to my ear and shouted!

Meenakshi : " 𝖲𝗂𝗍𝖺, 𝗐𝖺𝗄𝖾 𝗎𝗉! 𝖫𝖾𝗀𝗎𝗏𝗎 𝖿𝖺𝗌𝗍 𝗀𝖺, 𝗐𝗈𝗋𝗄 𝗄𝗂 𝗏𝖾𝗅𝖺𝗏𝖺?!" ( don't you want to go to work)

Sita : "𝖠𝗆𝗆𝖺, 𝗂𝗍'𝗌 𝖲𝗎𝗇𝖽𝖺𝗒 𝗍𝗈𝖽𝖺𝗒!" I groaned.

Meenakshi : " 𝖭𝖺𝗄𝗎 𝗍𝗁𝖾𝗅𝗎𝗌𝗎, 𝗂𝗏𝖺𝗅𝖺 𝗌𝗎𝗇𝖽𝖺𝗒 𝖺𝗇𝗂 𝗅𝖾𝗀𝗎𝗏𝗎 𝗇𝗂𝗍𝗁𝗈 𝗄𝗈𝗇𝖼𝗁𝖾𝗆 𝗂𝗆𝗉𝗈𝗋𝗍𝖺𝗇𝗍 𝗏𝗂𝗌𝗁𝖺𝗒𝖺𝗆 𝗆𝖺𝗍𝗅𝖺𝖽𝖺𝗅𝗂 "

("𝖨 𝗄𝗇𝗈𝗐, 𝖨 𝗄𝗇𝗈𝗐 𝗂𝗍'𝗌 𝖲𝗎𝗇𝖽𝖺𝗒. 𝖶𝖺𝗄𝖾 𝗎𝗉, 𝗀𝖾𝗍 𝗋𝖾𝖺𝖽𝗒, 𝖺𝗇𝖽 𝖼𝗈𝗆𝖾 𝖿𝗈𝗋 𝖻𝗋𝖾𝖺𝗄𝖿𝖺𝗌𝗍. 𝖶𝖾 𝗇𝖾𝖾𝖽 𝗍𝗈 𝖽𝗂𝗌𝖼𝗎𝗌𝗌 𝗌𝗈𝗆𝖾𝗍𝗁𝗂𝗇𝗀 𝗂𝗆𝗉𝗈𝗋𝗍𝖺𝗇𝗍. 𝖲𝗈 𝗁𝗎𝗋𝗋𝗒 𝗎𝗉!")

I smirked. I knew exactly what she wanted to discuss. I giggled, making her frown.

"Why are you laughing?" she asked, suspicious.

"Nothing, ma!" I replied, stretching.

"Okay, I'm going down. Come fastly!" she said before leaving.

I freshened up and made my way to the dining table, where breakfast was already served. Amma and Nanna were eating quietly, but I could sense Amma's impatience. My lips twitched.

When is she going to bring it up?Just say it, Amma. I'm waiting.

Finally, she took a deep breath and started, " sita... I think it's time you get married, Ra. You've achieved your goals. Now, it's time to start your own family."

Before she could even finish her sentence, I casually said, "Okay, Amma. Do as you wish."

Silence. Pure silence.

Amma and Nanna stared at me like I'd grown two heads. They had asked me so many times before, and I always dodged the topic with excuses. But today, I agreed just like that. I could almost hear them thanking God.But I wasn't done teasing them yet.

"Who is the pellikoduku, Amma?" I asked, feigning ignorance.

Amma smiled knowingly. "It's your Bava.

(Translation: cross cousin who is the son of her father's sister's son.)

I pretended to be shocked. "Bava?! Why? We've never even met properly!"

Amma sighed. " Yes raa, I know you both haven't met, but he is the one we've chosen for you. And he will protect you with his life." My heart clenched. Those words.

I knew exactly what she meant. I had already seen it-how he had shielded me with his own body, how he had given up his life for me. I regretted not listening to Amma's words in my past life.

"I know it feels sudden," Amma continued, "but if you want, you can meet him and talk before making a decision." I perked up. Finally, a chance to see him.

("Wow, Amma actually understands my worries. Ha! Finally, I can meet him!" I thought, grinning.)

"What do you say, Ra?" Amma asked.

"Okay, Amma, I'll meet him," I said, unable to hide my excitement.

Amma beamed. "Good. I'll ask him to come over so that you both can talk. And we can also fix your marriage talking with your in-law's right."

My eyes widened as heat crept up my cheeks. "Ma! You started teasing me, ah?!"

She chuckled. "Okay, okay, I know you're a shy baby. Go upstairs and rest. You came home late last night. And one last thing-are you truly okay with this marriage? If you are, then we will talk to his parents."

I nodded, my heart feeling lighter.

"Your Bava also agreed, Ma. You know, my words are an order for him."

My lips curled into a soft smile.

He agreed. Without hesitation.

Because for him, I was always the one.

And this time, I wouldn't let him go.

I slept thinking about him .

chapter 2

1.Why did Sita's mother want her to marry Trinodh?

A mother's heart sees beyond wealth and status-it seeks love, protection, and respect for her child. Sita, the sole heir to their empire, was pursued by many, but none looked at her beyond her fortune. Fear gripped her mother's heart until one name brought solace-Trinodh.

Not just a nephew, but a son she had raised, a man she knew would cherish Sita, not for what she owned, but for who she was. In him, she saw a guardian, a partner, and a love that needed no conditions. And in Sita, Trinodh's parents saw the daughter they always wished for-a woman of grace, strength, and unshakable self-respect.

"𝓐𝓽𝓽𝓻𝓪𝓬𝓽𝓮𝓭 𝓽𝓸 𝓱𝓮𝓻 𝓮𝔂𝓮𝓼 𝓪𝓽 𝓯𝓲𝓻𝓼𝓽 𝓼𝓲𝓰𝓱𝓽 "

The first time I saw her, it was nothing but a passing moment-just a fleeting glance, yet it remained etched in my heart like an unspoken promise. I had gone to deliver something on behalf of her mother, an errand I hadn't thought much of. But fate had its own plans.

As I turned to leave, the watchman called out her name. Sita.

And then I saw her.

She hadn't even looked at me , unaware of the pair of eyes that had just fallen captive to hers. But I stood frozen. The world blurred, time stretched, and all that remained was the depth of her gaze. Dark pools that carried the weight of a thousand unsaid words, the softness of dawn, the mystery of the midnight sky. They weren't just beautiful-they held stories, emotions, and a quiet fire I couldn't look away from.

By the time I blinked, she was gone. But her eyes... they stayed.

If the first time was an accident, the second was fate weaving its threads tighter around his heart.

It was a family gathering-laughter, music, colors blending in a celebration of traditions. And then, amidst the crowd, there she was. A vision in silk and moonlight, draped in elegance, moving with a grace that made the world feel painfully inadequate.

My heart betrayed me with its sudden, uneven rhythm.

My eyes traced the way her saree hugged her frame, the delicate fall of jasmine in her braid, but it was her face that held me prisoner. The soft glow of her skin, the quiet strength in the curve of her lips, and those same eyes-eyes that had unknowingly branded themselves into my soul.

For a fleeting second, she turned, almost as if sensing my gaze. My breath hitched. Would she recognize me? Would our eyes finally meet?

But before I could take a step closer, duty called. An urgent matter pulled me away, forcing me to leave without a word.

Yet, as I walked away, I knew one thing with certainty-this wasn't the end. Fate had placed her in my path twice. And I would wait for the moment when it wouldn't just be a glance from afar.

___________________________________________

As for 3rd one I will give the glimpse of what happened .

Trinod's heart pounded as he pieced together the clues leading to Sita's disappearance. The moment he realized she was missing, the world around him blurred-nothing else mattered. He followed every lead relentlessly, his desperation growing with every second.

Then, he found the hideout.

Hiding in the shadows, he listened.

"This wouldn't have happened if they hadn't meddled back then."

"We should end it before they figure out the truth."

His breath hitched. What truth? What was the missing piece? What had he overlooked?

Attackers said they who could be another person

Then-gunfire.

Without hesitation, he burst into the room. His eyes locked onto Sita-bound, bloodied, yet still fierce. His heart clenched painfully.

Relief flooded him, but there was no time for it.

A gun fired.

Without thinking, he lunged forward, shielding Sita with his own body. A bullet grazed his arm, tearing through flesh, but he didn't flinch.

"Trinod!" Her voice shook, filled with panic.

"I'm fine," he gritted out, his grip steady despite the pain. "Stay behind me."

With precise aim, he fired back, taking down two attackers. More bullets rained, but he was relentless. He grabbed Sita's wrist, his touch warm despite the blood staining his fingers.

"Run!"

She hesitated. She never hesitated.

"Trinod, no-"

"Go!" he ordered, pushing her toward the door.

But before she could take another step-

Another gunshot.

A sharp, burning sensation tore through his chest.

The world around him blurred. The sounds of gunfire became distant. His knees buckled, his breath caught.

"Trinod!"

Her scream shattered something deep inside him.

She was suddenly there, catching him as he fell to his knees.

Her fingers trembled as she pressed them against his wound, her voice cracking.

"Why? Why did you get shot for me?"

A weak smile tugged at his lips.

"Because, Sita... you are the only thing that has ever mattered to me."

Her breath hitched.

"Even before you knew... even when you didn't see it... it was always you." His voice cracked. "You are my world."

A sob escaped her lips.

"Trinod... I-I never-"

He gently cupped her cheek, his touch warm despite the cold creeping into his limbs.

"Sita... just once... say it."

Tears blurred her vision.

"No... not like this..."

"Please." His voice was barely a whisper now. "Just once."

She sucked in a shaky breath, leaning closer, her forehead resting against his.

"I love you, Trinod... and I always will."

A tear slipped down his cheek. A faint, tired smile touched his lips.

"Then... maybe we will meet again."

His fingers slipped from her cheek.

"No-Trinod, no!"

Her cries were raw, desperate.

Then-

Another gunshot.

A sharp pain ripped through her chest.

Her body trembled as she whispered,

"Trinod..."

His fingers weakly squeezed hers.

As the darkness closed in, a single, silent wish echoed between them.

One last chance.

One more moment.

To love.

To be loved.

To change their fate.

And then-silence.

Their hands remained entwined.

Their love-eternal.
