Pihu quickly jumps up, and as she does, the bangles on her legs tinkle.
She holds up her saree and hurries towards the foyer. The sound of her footsteps is heard, the light chatter of family members in the background.
They are smiling, but the atmosphere feels a bit tense.

Mom! Dad!
Her mother and father turn to face her, their faces lightening up with joy.
Pihu rushes towards them, touching their feet first in respect, then wrapping her arms around them in a warm hug.

The grandmother, standing nearby, forces a smile, her eyes sad. The uncle and his wife exchange uneasy glances, trying to mask their discomfort.

Her cousin doesn't respond,but her expression sharpens as she looks away. The uncle clears his throat awkwardly, and the grandmother adjusts her saree giving a faint sigh.

Pihu feels a small knot in her stomach, but her parents continue to smile, oblivious to the uncomfortable silence in the room

She follows her parents into the living room, while the rest of the family remains silent, their eyes following her with quiet judgement.
Is cozy, filled with the aroma of fresh tea and snacks.
The family gathers around, the soft chatter growing as Pihu's parents share stories of their stay at Dubai.
Pihu listens closely, trying to keep up with the conversation, but her mind keeps drifting to the cold silence in the room.

Pihu is chopping vegetables, her hands steady but her mind distracted by the constant loud thwack of the knife against the chopping board.
Anjali, stands next to her, chopping aggressively, making the sound even sharper.
Pihu tries to ignore it, her eyes focused on the vegetables in front of her.
The kitchen smells of spices and fresh ingredients,but there's something else in the air.
Anjali's sharp movements keep breaking the rhythm, and Pihu feels a knot tighten in her stomach.
Finally, unable to take it anymore

Anjali, can you please chop nicely? You're...

*cuts her off, suddenly pointing the knife at Pihu, her voice loud and filled with anger*

*flinches at the sudden outburst, her eyes widening in shock*
The tension between them escalates as Anjali breathes heavily, her words muttering under her breath.

The sun is shining brightly as a private jet touches down on a quiet runaway.
The plane's engine slowly fades away as the door opens, and a young man, steps.
He removes his sunglasses and takes a deep breath of fresh air.

The morning sun filters through the curtains, casting a soft glow on the room
The birds can be heard chirping outside.
Pihu is asleep on her bed, the peaceful expression on her face.
Anjali walks in silently, dressed for the day. She stops at the door, her eyes locked on Pihu with an unsettling gaze filled with hatred.

*quietly to herself*
So, here you are, sleeping like everything's perfect. You think you've got it all don't you?
Anjali stands there for a moment, watching Pihu as she sleeps, her face twisted with resentment.
She slowly steps closer, her eyes burning with anger. Pihu shifts in her sleep, turning slightly,but doesn't wake up.

*whispering to herself, clenching her fists*
Everything you have... I'll be mine, Pihu.
She takes one last look at Pihu, her eyes dark and full of quiet fury. Then, slowly, she turns and exit the room, leaving the door slightly ajar behind her.
Pihu remains unaware, still in her peaceful slumber.
Anjali walks slowly down the hallway, her face clouded with thought. She passes a room, where her parents' argument can be heard muffled though the walls.
Sound: muffled arguing from behind a door, with occasional raised voices.

You never get it, do you? I'm doing my best! But it's never enough!

*calm, tired*
You're not doing your best. You're just making everything worse...for all of us.
Anjali stops at the edge of the door. She listens for a moment, her eyes welling with tears. She whispers to herself.

She clenches the fabric of her saree in frustration, holding back tears. She takes a deep breath, ready to turn away, when Pihu's father calling from down the hall.

Anjali quickly wipes her eyes, forcing a smile onto her face. She turns to face him

The walk toward the balcony, the soft sound of their footsteps echoing in the quiet house.
Pihu's father pauses once they reach the balcony, looking out at the view for a moment before turning to Anjali.
