Episode 1
arooshi's uncle and aunt and aakansh's parents have a word on call about their marriage and decide to let their kids meet and talk before they finalize their marriage. they decide to let their kids meet first, then will the parents meet and talk about the other rituals
initially, due to reasons not revealed yet, aratrika singhania, aakansh's mother wants arooshi to elope with her elder son aakansh and ruhi mehra with the younger son daksh. even though harish mehra, ruhi's father proposed to aakansh for marriage with ruhi but aratrika is against it but knows talking to armaan won't help as he is bestfriends with harish and wouldn't cheat him
in a cafe located near a beach, they plan to meet. arooshi was already there waiting for the brothers unaware of the groom chosen for her and unaware of the fact that ruhi is going to meet them there as well. neither did ruhi know about her
according to what armaan singhania said to his sons, brides for both will be chosen after this meeting. whichever girl his son likes will be chosen for him.. although since they know ruhi since childhood he knows that daksh wouldn't prefer getting married with her and aakansh might have a slight idea of harish mehra's proposal for him
arooshi, dressed in a blue kurta with white pallazos and a pair of oxidised earrings and bangles, tying her hair in a loose low bun was already at the cafe waiting for the brothers
the brothers reach the cafe and daksh gets off and walks in while aakansh parks his car and follows him
arooshi being the only girl seated alone in the cafe, he immediately recognises her and walks to arooshi who was focused on her mobile screen

aakansh didn't have much to talk about other than business and arooshi anyway was more introverted around new people
daksh isn't talkative by personality but easily opens up around arooshi and ruhi. ruhi being into business is more interactive

Eventually aakansh under pressure decides to keep quiet and get engaged to arooshi while arooshi who already never had a choice agrees officially as well
And that's how their brides get exchanged and none of the four could have a say in it.
arooshi, who from childhood was under the burden of being raised by someone who's not her biological parents, she believed she was obliged to sacrifice every bit of herself just to pay them back
ruhi, who had successfully convinced her parents to set her up with aakansh who she had been crushing on since childhood, in her excitement she hurried the engagement and wedding dates but was now ashamed and embarrassed to say anything when the aakansh singhania itself ditched her on their engagement. she realised she had already lost aakansh but now couldn't let her family lose their face and risk her career
aakansh, who usually fights for the right and can't see his brother suffer a bit loses in front of his love and respect for his mother. he knew his mother isn't kidding when it comes to the reputation of the singhanias. she spent her entire teenage, her entire life into making armaan, aakansh and daksh what they are right now, without her they would be nothing and all of this means so much to aratrika that she could never suffer a stain to their family
daksh, who already owes so much to his brother can now say nothing when he has one chance to pay for the mistake of his brother. also, when he decided to pursue medical field, both his parents were against it but it was aakansh who supported him and helped him get here despite of the burden of managing 2 businesses on his own. armaan's one condition in letting daksh become a doctor was that he would no longer have a say in any decision for him or the family
