I never believed in Love at first sight, until that faithful evening when I met her. I was walking down the road, lost in thoughts when I saw her. She was wearing a hoodie and the short dress, a long legs striding confidently down the sidewalk. There was something about her that caught my attention, something that made me stop dead in my tracks and stare."

Alex, a vampire, has been observing Mia, a successful business woman from a far. his he's been drawn to her confidence,intelligence and beauty. Mia, unaware of Alex supernatural nature, has noticed him around the city, But they've never actually met. One evening, ask Mia was walking home from work, Alex actually bumped into her ,spilling her groceries. this chance of encounter breaks the eyes and they strike up with a conversation. as they talked Alex is drawn to Mia's warmth and kindness. He finds himself wanting to reveal his true nature to her, but he's hesitant, fearing rejection or worse .As the both bent down to pick up the scattered groceries,their hands touched and Alex felt a spark of electricity run down his spine."I'm so sorry",he said, looking up to her."I'm usually not this clumsy".Mia smiled , and Alex's heart skipped a beat."it's okay,I'm just glad my eggs didn't break".

As they stood up,Alex asked,"Do you live around here?".Mia nodded," Yeah, I have an apartment just a few blocks away".Alex smiled,"I'm Alex".

"I'm Mia ", She replied,her eyes sparkling in the moonlight.

As they continued talking,Alex struggles to maintain his human facade. He's drawn to Mia's neck,and his fangs ache to descend ,but he resists,not wanting to scare her away. Instead,he focuses on getting to know her better,hoping to find a way to reveal his true nature without loosing her.

A week after their chance encounter, Alex asked Mia out on a date. They agreed to meet at a trendy restaurant in the city. As Alex waited for Mia to arrive, he couldn't help but feel nervous. He hadn't been on a date in centuries, and he was worried about losing control. When Mia arrived, she looked stunning in n a red dress. Alex's heart skipped a beat as he stood up and to greet her. They exchanged awkward smiles and Alex gestured for her to sit down. As they ordered their food and began to talk, Alex found himself relaxing in Mia's presence. She was easy to talk to, and he enjoyed listening to her laugh. But as the night wore........

As the night wore on, Alex and Mia found themselves lost in conversation. Ask the talk about everything from their jobs to their favorite books and movies. Alex was surprised by how much he enjoyed Mia's company. She was smart, funny and beautiful. As they finished their dessert, Alex suggested they take a walk along the river. Mia agreed, and they strolled hand in hand enjoying the cool night air. As they walked, Alex couldn't help but notice the way Mia's hair shown in the moonlight. He felt a pang of desire, but he pushed it aside not wanting to ruin the moment. Suddenly, Mia stopped and turned to face him." Alex can I ask you something?", she said, her eyes sparkling with curiosity." Of course", Alex replied, his heart beating faster and faster.

"What do you do for a living?", Mia asked, her eyes narrowing slightly.

Alex hesitated, unsure of how much to reveal." I...... I work in finance", he said finally, trying to sound normal as possible. Mia raised an eyebrow,"Finance? That's interesting. I've never met anyone in finance who..... who seems so......", she trailed off, searching for the right words.

Alex's heart sank.Had he blown it?Had Mia discovered his secret?

But then she smiled and said,"...... so mysterious".

Just as Alex is about to breathe a sigh of relief, a figure images from the shadows. It's a woman with long curly hair and piercing green eyes. She's dressed in a black leather jacket and looks like she means business.

"Alex, darling", she says, her voice dripping with sarcasm." I see you're still playing with humans".

Alex eyes widened in surprise as the mysterious woman approached. Mia, sensing the tension took a step back.

"Who are you?", Mia asked, her voice firm but wary.

The woman smiled, her eyes glinting with amusement.

"I'm Sabine;she said,"An old friend of Alex's".

Alex's face was pale, and he looked like he'd been caught in a trap.

"Sabine, what the hell are you doing here?", he asked, his voice low and urgent.

Sabine chuckled."I could ask you the something,Alex.You're not exactly known for your..... social skills", she glanced at Mia,her eyes narrowing."And you're certainly not known for your taste in women".

Mia's eyes flashed with anger, but Alex intervened before things escalated.

"Sabine,stop",he said,his voice firm."This doesn't concern you".

Sabine raised an eyebrow."Oh , but it does concern me; she said."You see,Alex and I have a history.And I'm not about to let him ruin it with some....... human".

Sabine's eyes tend to cloud over ,and for a moment, Alex taught he saw a glimmer of sadness. But then ,her expression hardened and she smiled again.

"You see,Alex and I go way back; Sabine said,her voice dripping with malice."We were together, once......, centuries ago"...

Mia's eyes widened in surprise, and Alex felt a pang of guilt. He hadn't told Mia about his past, and he wasn't sure he wanted to.

"Sabine, that was centuries ago", Alex said, trying to downplay the situation." We were young and stupid, and ........"

Sabine laughed, a cold, mirthless sound." You were never stupid, Alex", she said." You were just..... distracted.......by your precious humans".

Mia's eyes flashed with anger again, but Alex and have been before things escalated. "Sabine, stopp;his voice firm." This isn't about the past. It's about Mia, and me and....."

Sabine's smile grew wider." Oh, I think it's very much about the past, Alex", she said." You see, I've been watching you, and I know all about your little... infatuation with Mia. And I'm here to tell you that it's not going to work out".

Alex's eyes narrowed ."What do you mean?",he asked,his voice low and menacing.

Sabine chuckled."I mean that Mia is in danger, Alex.And not just from me.There are those who would love to get their hands on a human who's.... associated with a vampire.

Alex: Sabine, please. Don't do this.Mia means everything to me.

Sabine's expression softened slightly, for a moment, Alex thought he saw a glimmer of the woman she used to be.

Sabine:I know she does,Alex.But that's exactly why I'm warning you.You're putting her in danger, and I won't let that happen.

Mia, who had been watching the exchange with growing unease, stepped forward.

Mia: What's going on ? What's danger are you talking about?

Sabine's eyes flicked to Mia, and her expression hardened again.

Sabine: You don't know what you're getting yourself into, Mia. You don't know what Alex is.

Alex eyes narrowed, and he took a step forward, his first clenched.

Alex: Sabine, that's enough.You're not going to scare her away.

Sabine smiled,a cold mirthless smile.

Sabine: We'll see about that.

And with that, she turned and disappeared into the night, leaving Alex and Mia staring after her in confusion and fear. Alex and Mia stood there for a moment ,staring after Sabine. Then, Mia turned to Alex her eyes wide with fear.

Mia: What's going on, Alex?who is Sabine, and what does she want?

Alex hesitated ,unsure of how much to reveal. But something about Mia's expression made him to trust her.

Alex: Sabine is...an old friend. From a long time ago.She's been watching me, and she's not happy about us.

Mia's eyes narrowed.

Mia: What do you mean about"us"? What's going on, Alex?

Alex took a deep breath.

Alex:I'll tell you everything,Mia. But first,we need to get out of here. Sabine might come back and I don't want you to get hurt.
