Love In Shadow

Chapter 1: Fateful Encounter

Ji-Hyun's POV:

I navigated through the crowded streets of Seoul, my mind preoccupied with the upcoming exams. As a college student, I had always been diligent about my studies, but lately, I'd been feeling overwhelmed by the pressure to perform well.

As I turned a corner, I stumbled upon a group of rough-looking men harassing a street vendor. My instincts told me to stay away, but my sense of justice wouldn't let me ignore the situation.

I marched up to the group, my voice firm. "Leave him alone! He's just trying to make a living."

The men turned to face me, their eyes sneering. "Mind your own business, girl," one of them growled.

I stood my ground, despite the fear creeping up my spine. Suddenly, a figure emerged from the shadows, his presence commanding attention.

"Leave her alone," he said, his voice low and menacing.

The men backed off, their eyes darting nervously at the newcomer. I turned to thank him, but my words caught in my throat.

He was tall, with piercing eyes and chiseled features. His jet-black hair fell across his forehead, framing his face. He wore a black leather jacket, which seemed to accentuate his broad shoulders.

"Thanks," I managed to stammer.

The stranger nodded, his eyes never leaving mine. "You shouldn't be here. This isn't a safe place for you."

I felt a shiver run down my spine as he reached out and gently grasped my arm. His touch sent a spark of electricity through my body.

"Let's get out of here," he said, his voice low and husky.

I nodded, still feeling dazed. As we walked away from the scene, I couldn't help but wonder who this mysterious stranger was.

Little did I know, our chance encounter would set off a chain of events that would change my life forever.

As we turned a corner, I caught a glimpse of a tattoo on the stranger's hand - a black dragon coiled around his wrist. I felt a shiver run down my spine.

"What's your name?" I asked, trying to sound calm.

The stranger smiled, his eyes glinting. "Tae-Oh," he said, his voice low and smooth.

My heart skipped a beat as I met his gaze. I knew, in that moment, that I was in trouble.

As we continued walking, the streets became increasingly familiar. I realized that Tae-Oh was leading me back to my neighborhood.

"How did you know where I lived?" I asked, a little startled.

Tae-Oh smiled, his eyes glinting. "I've been watching you," he said, his voice low and husky.

I felt a shiver run down my spine. Watching me? What did he mean by that?

As we approached my apartment building, Tae-Oh slowed down. "I'll walk you to your door," he said, his eyes never leaving mine.

I nodded, feeling a little nervous. What did I really know about this guy?

As we stepped into the elevator, Tae-Oh's presence seemed to fill the small space. I felt a little claustrophobic, but at the same time, I was drawn to him.

The elevator doors opened, and Tae-Oh followed me to my apartment door. I fumbled for my keys, feeling a little awkward.

As I unlocked the door, Tae-Oh turned to me, his eyes serious. "Be careful, Ji-Hyun," he said, his voice low and urgent. "There are people who might hurt you."

I felt a shiver run down my spine. What was he talking about?

Before I could ask any questions, Tae-Oh turned and disappeared into the night, leaving me feeling confused and a little scared.

As I stepped into my apartment, I couldn't shake off the feeling that my life was about to change in ways I couldn't imagine.

Chapter 2: The Stranger's Gaze

As I walked away from the scene with Tae-Oh, I couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. Who was this mysterious stranger, and what was his connection to the menacing men who had been harassing the street vendor?

Tae-Oh seemed to sense my unease, and his eyes softened. "You're safe now, Ji-Hyun," he said, his voice low and reassuring. I looked at him and he's looking at me too

I nodded, feeling a little embarrassed. "Thanks," I said. "I owe you one."

Tae-Oh smiled, his eyes glinting. "No need to thank me," he said. "I'm just glad I was there to help." so this dude know how to smile huh

As we continued walking, I couldn't help but steal glances at Tae-Oh. He was tall and lean, with piercing eyes and chiseled features. His jet-black hair fell across his forehead, framing his face. He's so handsome, If you ask me girls will go crazy to this guy

I felt a shiver run down my spine as I realized that I was attracted to him. But I quickly pushed the feeling aside. I didn't know anything about him, after all.

As we turned a corner, Tae-Oh slowed down. "I'll walk you home," he said, his eyes never leaving mine.

I nodded, feeling a little nervous. What did I really know about this guy? I don't know anything about him after all

As we walked, the streets became increasingly familiar. I realized that Tae-Oh was leading me back to my neighborhood. Ummm? How?

Chapter 3: The Mysterious Stranger

As I stepped into my apartment, I couldn't shake off the feeling that my life was about to change in ways I couldn't imagine. Tae-Oh's words echoed in my mind: "Be careful, Ji-Hyun. There are people who might hurt you."

I tried to push the feeling aside, telling myself I was just being paranoid. But as I settled into my routine, I couldn't help but wonder what Tae-Oh had meant. That was very weird and confusing. I'm such an innocent girl living in my simple Life and suddenly I meet that guy and says that someone might hurt me

Ughhhh so scary

The next day, I decided to do some research on Tae-Oh. I didn't know much about him, after all. But as I searched online, I realized that there was hardly any information about him. I just type he's name hoping some information might pop up in my monitor but there's nothing information about him

It was as if he didn't exist.

I felt a shiver run down my spine. Who was Tae-Oh, really?

As I walked to class, I noticed a black sedan following me. I quickened my pace, my heart racing with every step.

Suddenly, the sedan screeched to a halt beside me, and the window rolled down. A menacing face leered at me, making my blood run cold.

"Stay away from Tae-Oh," the man growled, before the sedan sped off.

I stood there, frozen in fear, wondering what I had gotten myself into. This is making me scared, I need to be careful kn what I'm gonna do from now kn

As I made my way to class, I couldn't shake off the feeling that I was being watched. Every glance over my shoulder made me jump.

I finally arrived at class, my nerves frayed. As I settled into my seat, I noticed a figure sitting in the back of the classroom.

It was Tae-Oh.

He caught my eye, and I felt a jolt of electricity run through my body. What was he doing here?

As the lecture began, I tried to focus on the professor's words. But my eyes kept drifting back to Tae-Oh.

He seemed to sense my gaze, and his eyes locked onto mine. I felt a shiver run down my spine.

What did he want from me?

As the lecture ended, Tae-Oh disappeared into the crowd. I tried to follow him, but he was too quick.

I was left standing alone, wondering what had just happened.

As I walked back to my apartment, I couldn't shake off the feeling that my life was spinning out of control.

Who was Tae-Oh, and what did he want from me?

And what did the menacing men in the black sedan want? why would I saty away from this guy? It's because his still a stranger to me? Or what?

I felt a sense of unease settle over me, and I knew that I had to be careful.
