Because Sweetheart, We made a promise to your grandmother, and we have to uphold it. You'll be back before you know it. Four years isn't that long! Just do as your grandma wishes, don't cause her any trouble and NO TALKING TO BOYS!

University will go by fast. I hope..

Ok mom.. I'll try my best to fit in, and I'll definitely be back ASAP!
Mother
I love you honey, be good and remember what I said about boys. Also, if your grandma start saying funny stuff it's probably dementia or something *hugs &kisses* Bye honey. Be safe 💕

The drive from Florida to Oregon wasn't too long. Took about 3 days and by then you could bet they were absolutely beat!
As they drive through a small woodsy town, Jennie felt peering eyes the whole way to the house. Guess they weren't used to newcomers.

Welcome Home. It's not alot but there is plenty of room for us two here and I'm guessing you'll be out of the house most days anyways.
They pull into the driveway of a small suburban house. Light blue with White trims and a creaking old swing on the porch. By this time it's fairly late at night and wolves can be heard howling nearby.

I didn't know you lived in the middle of nowhere gran.. There's even wolves here!

Now let's get inside and I'll show you to your room. You can give your mom a call once your settled in.
Jennie gets settled in and is nervous for her first day of Uni tomorrow. Her grandma was super adimit on her going to school here for some reason. Her birthday was always later than the others in her grade, so she will be 18 the first week of uni when the rest of her classmates have already had their birthdays.
