On the day Nancy ran away, the family came for a meeting to see their in-laws. They never expected the bride they came to look for, ran away without her family noticing. Not only they couldn't keep an eye on her, but they also wanted to give him a substitute.

Cursing in her mind, she didn't know what she would face next.

" Also liquidate every of their assets. Since the Pi family couldn't respect our agreement, there's no need for us to do so."

Mr and Mrs Pi thought they settled everything but hearing this, the fear in their heart rose and they started pleading. Their daughter, Isa was carried on like a bag being slung on the shoulder by one of the bodyguards of the Ji family.

She thought she escaped a miserable end, but it was just the beginning of her misery. Used to have all she wanted no matter the means, or even bullying others she felt quite indignant not being able to marry her target but also being drag out of her house in such a humiliating way.

As soon as they reached the mansion, she was send directly over by the bodyguard to her new destination.

As Ji Hei was interrogating a subordinate, whom actually dare to have a thought of treason, he received a call from his brother Ji Ain.

" I'm busy" he said.

"I'm sending you a plaything, you can marry her and take care of her."

After hearing his brother's words, he was at a loss.

" Weren't you the groom?"

"Weren't you busy?"

After saying this he hang up the phone letting his brother dumbfounded.

After taking care of his matter, he heard a knock at his door. After taking a look, he saw the girl and understood something went wrong. So he called his brother and asked a few questions. After getting his answer, he knew what to do.

" So it's said your sister ran away?"

Isa nodded not knowing the man in front of her. If someone said she would end up in such a situation...

" Then how come you still have the cheek to ask to replace her instead of returning the betrothed gifts?"

" My parents were in a difficult position so-" Isa started but was cut off

" We never forced your sister into this. It was her choice to accept or reject at first but now she said yes, you better pray we find her or else you will suffer more than just from poverty "

As soon as he left, Isa was sent to the servant's headquarters.

Isa: This must be a joke right? I hope that girl died. How come she's always so lucky but I... After planning so long only gets to be treated like a maid. What wrong did I do?

Though she was furious, she couldn't show it nor act capricious. She could only accept her temporary identity and go with the flow. Though this Hei guy was not her target at first , but this was not a bad choice either.

Isa was starting to plan about her next moves forgetting about what happened and even her family now leaving in poverty as all their properties were taken from them as compensation. But young master Ji was not satisfied.

After looking around, Isa decided to take a step back. Acting as an innocent girl in front of the servants thinking the girl was to pity for her sister's actions.

"Mother..." she said as a whisper. Though her voice low the person seem to recognize it.

"Isabella" Mrs Pi said with a hoarse voice, her daughter was named after her foreign aunt as she used to stay with her.

"Now you're all here, let's proceed" he said with a cold tone.

Instantly after saying, the father was brought up to a kind of machine. Both ladies did not know what it was, but it seems to have sharp knife ends implanted in the upper part of the machine.

Isa: Was it supposed to go down?

She thought as a shiver ran down her spine.

As soon as the father was placed there, Ji Hei started his interrogation and soon after came many shouts of pain and screams of mercy but did he even mind it?

Isa was shivering so much she never encountered such a situation. She looked at her mother hoping to be cajoled by her but all in vain. Mrs Pi almost peed herself, she too never encountered such a situation. She only learned from her aunt's miserable end to never try bullying the strong. But who knew, wanting her daughter to have a better life will actually offend a strong party.

As the father was also regretting everything in a painful manner, he ended up dying under the torture inflicted.

The mother and daughter pair seem to be next, after seeing what the father went through, they were actually quite traumatized. All that was left was regret.

The next day, the mother was next to be interrogated but after a few rounds too she lose her life in front of her crying daughter, leaving her in a shock and miserable state of mind.

Ji Ain came the same day to imply about it, as a result he went back with nothing much.

Nana was sent out to a foreign country decided by a random person to no trace it to them, and she was to not come back so that everything will be unknown.

With this information coming from both parents, there was no need to ask further from Isa.

That was the start of Isa's tortured life. She never felt she did wrong, but actually felt wrong. She was taught so, then she developed such kinds of thought not able to differentiate between right and wrong anymore.

She was better off without it, this was supposed to be a simple plan, but it ended up as a suicide mission.

But now what was there to regret? She could just try running away too.

After suffering this loss just for a week, Isa felt like cursing the Ji family genealogy.

As she was seated, she saw the man coming to meet her.

"How was the experience? Do you still find it funny?" Ji Hei asked.

" Seems like you liked it, what about doing so for the next five years then?" he said

Hearing this she thought about all she had gone through during this time period and asked just one question.

She looked at him with fiercely.

" You're indeed funny. You must be mentally ill thinking you have nothing to do with this miserable state of yours"

He said then continued "Think again, what was the cause of your sister running from home?"

Then he added

" After thinking it through, what was your reaction after she was found? If you stayed quiet and disappear, we won't mind much, but you came in front of us feeling quite pleased with the situation"

Isa listened attentively then thought about it, was her actions wrong? Was she the one to cause all this?

"Are you saying this to feel better?" she asked

"Feel better?" he said "I'm a mafia, do you really think I need to say those to feel better? You think quite highly of yourself"

" You saying it's my fault but what wrong have I caused you? What was so worth about Nancy that she couldn't be replaced? I'm way better than her"

*laugh*

" Do you know what? This is the thinking that brought you into this situation"

Ji Hei proceeded by telling her how jealousy and envy were the cause of her misery. By doing so he took his brother and him for examples trying to teach her something. Anyway she shouldn't die ignorant.

After taking in the information given to her, Isa felt shock. She never knew she was actually like those villains she read about in stories. For her, Nancy stole her father and wanted to steal her mother. She felt like Nancy had everything while she didn't, so she promised to take everything from her.

But now considering many facts, maybe she was indeed wrong. She seems to have gone astray.

She could just suffer in regret. Ji Hei left after teaching her some principles. Though he was known to be cold, he was actually like cat full of mysteries.

Making the last arrangements for the girl, he left that place never to come back.

He never expected the girl to suicide after he was gone. After all she did not seem to have such courage.

Waking up with a fright, Isa felt like this was unreal. Looking around her, she thought it was a bad dream.

She heard some sounds in the corridor.

Curious, she stood up and went to take a look. She saw Nancy carrying a bag and move like a rat afraid to be caught by a cat.

"Nana?" she said frightening the girl who thought everyone was asleep.

The girl seem to be in a difficult position then

"Nana why are you not asleep?" Isa simply asked curious.

As she said so, Nana sensed something was wrong with her sister. She spoke quite gently to her which was the first time. So Nana turned around to confirm the person behind her. It was indeed Isa, which ended her being shocked.

Isa: What is wrong with this girl?

She thought to herself frowning leading Nancy to misunderstand.

"Sister, don't be angry. I wasn't intentional, I promise I tried to run without making any noise" Nana said wanting to explain herself quickly.

At her words then, Isa realized something was wrong. Dragging Nana into her room, she looked at the time and date. Then thinking about the different experiences she had, she shivered. It seems she was reborn and almost done for again.

She then looked at Nana saying "you can't run away"
