Lark still couldn't believe that his loved village has been just wiped off from the earth, as if it was never been existed.All the things which he had seen infront seemed to be as his worst nightmare ever faced and nothing seemed to be as real to him. His hometown just turned into a battlefield and each house turned out to be graves of lives. His all dreams just dashed away , and he couldn't do anything except to pervade it. He had people who could love him but they all left him in seconds. At this very point of his life, he even missed his enemies and stood by merely for the cry of half dead lives which were sweetest music to his ears then. Except facing the bitter surroundings, he had no other choice but he cannot control the madness of his mind after seeing the bodies of close ones couldn't be controlled by himself. But somehow he managed to bind that energy within his heart and mind. Wherever he looked, he could only see the broken buildings, swords, weapons, fire and bodies scattered around. His heart was fearfully excited, thinking that another bomb will come and take away his life and take him to his close ones. He had an idea that after death ,he would surely go to his close ones but he also knew that it was painful and hard to leave the world easily.It seemed to him as better to die rather than living with nobody around.

Lark has faced the greatest burden of life at a very young age of 10.

A thought came across in Lark's mind , “ Why wars occur in this world , if it does not good to us instead brings devastation of life and property ? Just because to hold and increase power , how someone can start war and why all his army helps him to do it ? I will change the rules of the world—I will stop all wars—I will bring peace even if it costs my life—At least I could gift this world a happy future.”

Suddenly Lark heard groaning of a man. It was coming from the pile of heavy stones in front of him. He tried to remove all the stones off. Then a gloved hand came out. Lark pulled that hand out of the stones with all his might. Soon a head came out. A man got out of the pile. He was heavily injured. He was totally armed with weapons and armor, looked like that he was one of the soldiers of Lark's village—Hoshi saga village. Lark's heart told him that it was important to save him after all he risked his life in saving the village.

After hearing the heart beat of the soldiers, Lark shivered. The heartbeat was gradually becoming slow as the steps of tortoise ! He can die any moment. Suddenly he heard few footsteps arriving nearby. It was that of the enemy. The soldiers were incapable of moving . Lark was totally disoriented. He couldn't find any way to hide and recruit the soldier.

Suddenly a guy with a heavy sword and heavy armory rushed in towards Lark. His face was very cruel with an open smirk. But suddenly the expression of his face changed, as if he found something unexpected which broken his hope.“Ah man...I thought that there are still more people.” Voices of his companions who were arriving by that time slowly came.

“ There are no people left to be killed, Sydney. ”

“ And also who cares about those four five citizens. ”

“ Their existence will not make any difference. ”

Those soldiers went away.

Behind a big rock, Robert and Lark were there sticking to it's edge, holding their breaths and sounds to hide their existence. Finally, they leashed out of their sweat and breath.

The heart ! Lark realized that Robert's heart is slowing down. He got an idea to save the heart ! He had learnt it from his mom. At least after saving this soldier , there would be one being assisting him in this heavy burden.

Past memory

“ Lady Taylor , please come my brother's life is in danger ! He is totally silent ! ” A man came running in Lark's house .

Lark's mom came out of the house and asked ,“ What happened to your brother ? ”

The man huffed ,“ He is totally pale...His heartbeat...stopping at intervals...High fever. Lady Taylor , please save him. ”

Lady Taylor and Lark went to the man's house. His brother's condition was very serious. He was motionless like a stone idol. Taylor went near him and kept her left palm on her right hand and started pressing the chest of the brother. She ordered everyone to soak the brother's forehead with wet cloth.

Lark was silent. He had no idea what was going on. After some minutes, the brother sat up on his own back steadily. It was really a miracle. He nearly faced his death front. Looking at the brother, the whole family jubilated. They offer a great amount of money in return of saving life of their family member, but Taylor refused it. Lark was confused that why his mom refused the money.

While on the streets on the way toward their home , Lark asked, “ Mom, why didn't you receive the money ? ”

Taylor looked at him with warmth,“ Son, you will not understand it now. To see the people happy after I saved their family member satisfied me more rather than by receiving the money. The blessings, they had given me costed more to me than money. You will not understand it now. You will understand it when you help others like this. So remember that you will always help others with all your might. ”

Lark remembered her words. Her last words and memories were the only thing which were left to him to live on, on the honor of his dead soldier mom.

Lark quickly placed his hands on that position on the chest of that wounded soldier, which were once used by his mom to cure heart. He continuously pressed the soldier's chest. His only hope—a little spark of light— He is trying his best to save that light.

Suddenly Lark thought,“ I will not spare the person or group who has ruined my life, my village, my people ! This world will never get peace, because of these type of bastards ! My dream of becoming soldier and to bring peace has been totally destroyed. Now, I will destroy them.”

Then suddenly the soldier opened his eyes and grabbed his hands like a child and said, “ But this not the solution ... Wars will only cause hatred which leading to more wars and after sometime you will also end up like them having no identity, no purpose like you are now. You will again come to zero as you are now. Where is your will ? Where is it ? Will you also end up like them ? I know your parents— Captain James Bro. and Lady Taylor Brook as well as you too—Young Brook ; Lark Brook . ”

Lark's mind shattered,“ Yeah, he is right but...will any of my decisions repay to this world or me ? By the way , how does he know me and my parents ? ” His mind and body got in an alarm.

Robert started coughing. Lark held him. Robert looked straight into Lark's eyes . Clear determination,hope and loyalty towards his village can be easily seen in his eyes. This look seriously made Lark think from start all over. Lark said ,“ Yeah ,you are right . I am not strong enough to avenge my goal. ”

Robert said ,“ It's not the point . The point is that if you take revenge on something, you and your enemy's hate will grow more ,causing devastation and surely a time will come when you end up again like this as you are now. Hate only causes corrosion in our minds and souls making ourselves blindly mad and unhappy. The thing is that more you raise your hate or more you receive hate ,more it will burn you. I have seen someone who had end up like this with no happiness except hate. ”

Past memory

“ No dad , don't do this . No ! ” Robert came crying hugging his father. His father slapped him away. Robert fell three or four yards back.

“ Sorry son , but I have to do this . Bye bye son , take care and never forget your ideals. I can't now tolerate this pain , this hate. ” Robert's father stabbed a dagger into his own abdomen. Blood splited all over the house. Blood trailed out of the tips of his lips. He fell on the ground outside his house exhaling his last breath.

Robert couldn't see the blood , his dead father and he fainted.

“ I can't understand your words but I can understand that hate causes trouble. So I will control my hate...but..no I can't control it ! Those scoundrels killed my parents, brother , friends ! How can I forgive them ! ”

“ Just for the sake of your dream and this world , you should forget them . Well , I am Robert Willow , your parents's congrds. I also lost my parents but I had not left my duties away. Like you saved me , Now it's my duty to save my other congrds. I am very grateful to you to save me. I nearly returned from my death. Now I have to find other villagers and soldiers who are still alive. Will you help me ?

Robert exposed his hand infront. Lark thought,“ I should go with this guy to become strong and worthy. This village needs our help.”

Lark replied, “ Yeah.”

When Robert tried to stand, he dropped on his feet. He was still very weak. He said,“ I think, I can't stand.”

“ Don't worry I am going to find others. ”

“ But it's too dangerous to roam openly. The enemies can attack on you.”

“ Don't worry. I will be fine. I will return to you as soon as I find one being.”

“ But...” Lark sweeped away.

As soon as he crossed the shoulder of a big boulder. He saw a few men still fighting there with swords. Only one was standing against three people. He was wearing blue robe covering from waist to shoulder and the sides of the abdomen along with a conical hat with a long sword which was electrically charged with blue sparks.

The sword man said in a cold and calm nature,“ You will pay for what you have done to my land. You don't know who am I.”

“ You are one and we are three. Don't underestimate the power Kabuto Shinoki warriors.”

The sword man looked through the bottom of his hat with a light smirk. He pulled out his blue sparky sword a little bit. In Lark's next blink , the sword man drew his sword . Lark thought , “ What ! He drew his sword back ! ”

But his surprise increased more when he saw the three Kabuto Shinoki warriors surrounded the sword man in a position of being ready for attack ,but they were still and shaking. In the next moment, Lark saw the most incredible thing of his life. The three warriors fell on the ground with blood shooting out from their body in shower.

One of the man raised his head up from the ground and asked in a fainted unclear voice, “ Who—are..you ?”

The sword man replied,“ The Sage Of Blue Thunder ”

Lark's face paled. His mouth dropped open and his eyes grew bigger. He thought, “ Who is he , so fast , so powerful ? If he was there, then our army would have won , but why we lost ? Then he was not there before , but why ? If he belongs to our village , then why he didn't come before ? His powers are beyond of that of a human. Then who is he ? I must inform it to Captain Robert .”

Robert collected few weapons which were scattered around on the ground. He packed his equipments and tools. He was then feeling better. Likewise, he was just about to move his feet, when Lark came running towards him. He was huffing and looked very terrified.

He asked, “ What happened Lark ? Did you find someone injured and loned ? ”

“ No, but I found someone about whom you must listen to. By the way, are you feeling fine now ?”

“ Yes, I am fine, but what happened to you ? ”

Lark explained the whole situation point to point that he perceived there.

Lark tried to scratch out the name from his head,“ The Sage... Sparky—something like that. Whatever the name was ! But his skills are no match for humans, that I am sure ! What a speed ! What an accuracy! ”

After hearing Lark, a shivering wave went doing through his spine. Robert added from his horror,“ The Sage Of Blue Thunder. His name is The Sage Of Blue Thunder. ”

“ How do you know ? Did you know him before ? ”

“ This was just a bit of his power. You don't know his true power. He is one of the strongest of this planet. He is a sage. He possesses lightning energy and can manipulate it in his own will in different techniques. ”

Lark was staring at Robert with a hunger of curiosity. Robert understood it continued,“ A sage is a person who can convert their energies into elemental or elementals by special meditation according to the nature of their energy. There are mainly five elemental types—Fire (Heat and Light energy), Water (Hydro kinetic and Hydro-ionic energy), Earth (Atomic, Mechanical and Nuclear energy), Air (Aero-mechanical and Aero-magnetic energy) and Lightning (Electromagnetic and Light energy) , but there are also some sub-elementals. The Sage Of Blue Thunder left this village many years before to attain enlightenment, but why did he return suddenly ? Is it because of the war ?”

Lark thought,“ Yes I finally got a way out. I need to learn Sage technique to attain power which can help me to last in this world and to maintain peace here. But the thing is that I can't understand any of the thing which Captain Robert told me about the elementals. ”

“ Let's leave Brook. We must rescue our people. They might be heavily injured.”

Under the stones, under the broken huts, inside the green, under the broken buildings —everywhere, those two had searched for humans, but they had not seen a single living being yet.

Suddenly a voice came from back when they were searching.“ If you are trying to rescue the left out population of your village, then you should search behind that cherry blossom tree. I can sense three low level energies out behind the tree. ”

“ Thank you—Wait... Are you the sage of blue spark ?” Lark turned back.

“ That's The Sage Of Blue Thunder not blue spark,” A tall, muscular figure with blue robe and wooden conical hat spoke out. Lark had seen this figure before.

Robert leaped off in joy and screamed, with no control in his deeds, “ Oh sir ! Long time no see. Sir see, in your absence so many things has been happened in this land. ”

“ That I can see. I am glad that your new village leader had summoned me. I can't sense his energy. Is he..?”

Robert lowered his head, in answer to The Sage Of Blue Thunder. He said, “ All this devastation occurred in just two hours. We couldn't even touch their hair. Damn the samurais of Samurai Union ! I lost all hope of living until this boy saved my life. When I saw this boy, sharing the dreams which I also dreamt of, I rebuilt my dreams and decided to turn it into reality. I will bring peace and love to this world.”

“ Don't worry. Now I have come, there's no need of fearing. Let me know all the intel you have with you about this war and The Samurai Union afterwards,, but you first rescue he left population. ”

That sage's voice seemed very cold and savage to Lark. His voice was both freezing and so as confident and powerful enough to make someone fear him. Because of the voice, Lark then preferred to keep a distance between him.

Lark raided behind the cherry blossom tree suddenly without any notice. There were two kids and a boy of no age more than fourteen or fifteen years. The kids were very terrified by this action of Lark. They hid behind the boy. His long brown hair came upto his neck were very dusty which were covering his head in a blurry brown cloak, when dispersed into air. His clothes were outfitting. He raised his bow and arrow and blitzed on him. Lark dodged it by luck.

Lark surrendered him and depicted himself , “ Hey, hey ! This is me Lark, your former classmate's brother.”

“ Oh this is you, ” He said in a soft voice. He seemed to not care for he what would have happened to Lark if the arrow would have hit him. This boy's name was Ronald Agastha and those kids were his brother Donald and sister Ruby.

“ Hey come with us. We are rescuing the leftover population of our village and bringing them altogether. Come on. We will help you. Unity builds strength.” Lark raised his hand for welcoming them.

Ronald thought,“ For the sake of my siblings, I have to live. To live , I need help of others too. I need to become strong and stand for myself and my siblings. After all I need to fulfill my parent's last wish. I should join them.”

Past memory

“ Where are you two going mom ?” Ronald asked.

“ We are going on a mission. Please take of you and your siblings.” His mom assigned him the job. His mom looked at his eyes and said, “ I know that you want to stop us but son, there's a war going on and our congrds need us.”

Ronald's corner of his lips lowered and his inner eyebrows raised. He bit his lips so as to suppress his silent moan. His eyes turned moist.

Ronald's dad told, “ Don't underestimate my brave boy. He knows everything very well and knows how to act upon his responsibilities. I have total faith in him ! ”

The words of his dad touched his heart,“ Yes, I know I am responsible. Everyone has so much faith and hope on me. Yes, I know I can do it. After all my parents are soldiers,” He thought.

Suddenly, a sound of explosion teared his eardrums. Then his whole house crumbled down. He quickly grabbed his little siblings under his arms and faced his back against the house. Nothing happened to them. When he looked up, he saw his mother covering their body under her warmth. A big stone had been fell there on her back. Her back head turned red. Blood trailed down from her lips dropped on her elder son's forehead. Ronald,s mom gave her everything in saving her children.

Suddenly, few masked men surrounded their whole broken home. They targeted their arrows over Ronald's mom. But Ronald's dad threw himself between the arrows and his wife. All the arrows shot him.

His mom uttered,“ Run away from here ! Protect your siblings at any cost. ”

His dad shouted, “ You are the future of this village. You have a responsibility towards your village. Never forget them. You will protect this village. ” His dad couldn't hold his feet and he fell down exhaling his last breath.

Ronald came out of the stones. His mom weakened her force and all the stones crumbled on her, crushing her whole body.

Ronald tightened his fist,“ Yes I will follow my duties. I will never forget my duties, ” He thought. He placed his hand over Lark's , accepting to join them.

The Sage Of Blue Thunder smiled at them, but his smile turned into terror. A sword came across from back through his chest which was coated with blood. Someone stabbed him from back ! Lark got terrified. It seems that there is someone who can match the capabilities of that sage. They were all shocked after seeing this sudden attack.
