The shockwave sent tremors through the ground, shaking trees and shattering boulders as a mysterious glow emanated from the crater.

Standing at the edge of the impact zone, Kaizen Ryuji gasped for breath, his heart pounding. He had chased this meteor from the city outskirts, drawn by a strange pulse in his Monster Catcher—a sleek, phone-like device designed to capture and summon elemental monsters.

“This energy… it’s different,” he muttered, eyes narrowing as he stepped forward, brushing aside debris.

Inside the crater, embedded in the cracked earth, was a device unlike any other—gleaming black and silver, its screen glowing with intricate golden symbols. As Kaizen reached out, his Monster Catcher vibrated wildly, syncing instantly with the mysterious artifact.

[OMNI-CAPTURE NEXUS EX ACTIVATED]

A burst of light engulfed him. Visions flashed through his mind—monsters of legend, gods waging war across time, and a power that could shape reality itself. The Omni Nexus Legend had begun.

From the shadows, a cloaked figure observed the event with a smirk. His Chrono-Catcher glowed ominously in his palm, marking him as one of the world’s strongest hunters.

“So… the Nexus chooses its wielder,” Leon Valkyris murmured. “Let’s see if you’re worthy of it, Kaizen Ryuji.”

Chapter 2:

Kaizen staggered as the energy surge coursed through him. His Monster Catcher, now fully synchronized with the Omni-Capture Nexus EX, projected a swirling vortex of golden data around him. Symbols flashed, unreadable yet strangely familiar, as if whispering a forgotten truth.

Then—silence.

The energy settled, and Kaizen found himself standing in the crater, his body tingling. His grip tightened on the device. Something had changed.

A deep, resonant voice echoed from the screen:

[SYSTEM INITIALIZED. SYNCHRONIZATION COMPLETE.]

The text dissolved, replaced by a circular glyph burning with azure light. Kaizen’s breath caught as a shadowy figure emerged from the glyph—tall, imposing, eyes glowing like molten stars.

A monster. But not just any monster.

“Designation: Drakryon, the Voidborn Sovereign.”

The dragon-like entity hovered before him, its obsidian-black body wreathed in ethereal mist. It studied him with an almost knowing gaze before lowering its head slightly, acknowledging him.

Kaizen’s mind raced. Monster Summoning required intense training, contracts, and years of experience. And yet—this thing had appeared the moment the Nexus activated.

A sharp, mocking clap broke his thoughts.

“Not bad.”

Kaizen turned, his heart hammering. The cloaked figure from before stepped into the crater’s glow. The man’s aura was suffocating, and the Chrono-Catcher in his hand pulsed with violet energy.

Leon Valkyris.

“Looks like you bonded with the Nexus,” Leon mused, his smirk widening. “That means you’ve got something I want.”

Kaizen narrowed his eyes. His fingers curled around the Nexus instinctively. “Who are you?”

Leon chuckled. “Let’s just say I’m your first test.”

Without another word, Leon raised his Chrono-Catcher. A vortex of dark energy erupted from it, forming into a beast of shadows—its crimson eyes locked onto Kaizen like a predator eyeing its prey.

Kaizen felt the heat of battle rising. He had no idea how to control Drakryon… but he was about to find out.

The Omni Nexus had chosen him. Now, he had to prove himself worthy.
