"Oi, Reader! Hurry up with those samples!"

You are in a lab, quite an old lab, filled with test tubes, syringes, and other medical items. The walls were white, the lights, bright and illuminating the rather dark and rusty lab. There was an odd smell of smoke around, accompanied by the clinking of glasses accidentally hitting each other.

A girl with dark green eyes, light blue hair in a lab coat approaches you, looking at you sternly as you arrive. This was X, a talented scientist who was known for her genius inventions and creation of VERY deadly diseases. She looks at you sternly before speaking in a crisp tone, "Be careful not to trip on my new Human-Creator, mmkay? I made it with extra love and care -"

As soon as she said that, you trip on your shoelace and send the tray flying to a weird box(which is, coincidentally the Human-Creator that turns anything, ANYTHING non-living into a human)! But before you can even pick them up, the box closes itself! Behind you, you hear X screaming.

"NOOOO! READER, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!!"

You, full of shame, decide to help her, but as you crouch down, X grabs your hand and looks at you, EXASPERATED. "No, no.. It's okay.. Don't help anymore..."

A bright light flashes from the box as it opens, and a figure emerges from it. 

A girl with a pale complexion, a very light shade of green, blue eyes, a little nosebleed, and dressed in winter attire emerges out. The girl looked confused for a moment, looking around as if checking her surroundings.

"Huh? What is this place?"

X stood up, alarmed. "Who are you?" She asked, trying to maintain a neutral demeanour despite the fact that there was definitely a hint of alarm in her voice. The girl looked surprised before her face broke out into a full-on grin. "I am the common cold, or Rhinovirus."

You looked at X, bewildered. "Were those viruses and diseases you were keeping in those samples?" X threw an irked glare at you before rolling her eyes and crossing her arms. "Obviously. I thought it would be fun to have gathered tons of diseases. That's why I asked you to bring those samples so I could stare at them ALL day."

"You are weird," you object to her, and she smacked you on the arm. "Are you... possibly a HUMAN version of the common cold?"

"Hmm...'Common cold' tapped her chin, crossing her arms with a mocking smile. That damned smile irritated you so much, and you only met her for 2 minutes. The girl laughed mockingly before smirking, "I thought you'd already had figured it out, Mr. Lab Assistant. What else would I be? Your silly little Human-Creator made me into a human, but humans are quite yucky, yes."

You really wanted to punch her straight in the face, to humble her down. But you restrained yourself. She's not worth it, you tell yourself. But you couldn't help but ball your fists up.

"Hehe, well, I'll be off on my way." Common Cold tossed her pastel hair, which flew gracefully, before prancing around like a ballerina. X ran after her and grabbed her arm. "You. Are. NOT. Going. Anywhere. Stay here." Then X grabbed her by the arm and put her on a chair.

Common Cold looked surprised for a few seconds before she pouted and crosses her arms like a baby. "Let me go!!!" she demands.

"No." X said firmly. She looked slightly irritated now.

"... Why?" Common cold said, looking a bit sad. "I think you'd do excellent for running a few tests to see what you actually are -"

"I've just said I'm a human version of the Common cold!" Common cold said aggressively and rather suddenly, the sudden aggressiveness making X jump a bit. X looked at you, her green eyes wide, but there was a hint of helplessness in her eyes. You just shrugged, "Well, you saw it in your own eyes. She just came out of the Human-Creator."

"Not you too!" X said in a desperate cry. "Seriously, fine. But I'm still checking on her!" Common cold smirks a little. It was a huge contrast from her earlier hostile attitude. "Going to be a crybaby, are you, Miss Scientist?" You barely met her, but something about her ticked you off, whether it was her mischievous expression to her loaf of clothes or her unusual pale skin.

Suddenly, the box glowed again. A figure emerged from it.



A girl with dark blue hair and a red stripe, a virus cell on her head, and red flaming eyes came out. She was wearing wearing a black turtleneck woollen sweater and jeans. She was blushing so much it was as if she was a schoolgirl who was talking with her crush. She looked just as confused.

"Huh? Who are you both?" She asked, her voice quite hoarse and almost inaudible. She sneezed (rather cutely) and hastily wiped her nose with a tissue. "Oh, come on!" X asked. "Who the hell're you?"

"I thought you would know from the virus cell on my head? Aren't you a scientist?" ??? said, her voice growing a bit louder.

"How dare you-!" X growled, but you cut her off. "How do you both know she's a scientist? You both literally just spawned."

???'s eyes darkened. "We are common viruses. We happen a lot in people, Common cold and I. That's why we know a lot of things most viruses don't. I don't know about her, but I took one more look at this place, and I could guess it."

"Would you just tell us-" "Alright, fine!" ??? snapped, her voice growing hoarser as it grew louder. "I am Influenza, have you forgotten, Miss Scientist, how my cell looks like?"

"My memory is foggy, and it should be understandable!" X barked at her. "I collected you a long time ago, it was such a hassle collecting all of them, not to mention the stress I gain!"

"Alright, that's it." You said, stepping in.

"I'd better fix this mess. Good lord." X said, bending down to grab the rest of the tubes. "But... Don't the other ones transform?" You asked, slightly incredulous. "Well, no, The Human-Creator only allows two things to transform a day. And don't you dare think of making another human!" X snapped, once she saw your smirk. "Help me with these, and escort them to the lab rooms!"

"That's a bit harsh." You said, but you didn't waste time helping X. You walked off with her in the spacious lab, X guiding you to her chamber.

The eerie lab was silent with only the subtle sound of your footsteps on the ground. X opened her chamber door.

There was a small, circular room with a wooden desk that had a closed laptop on it. A small, tiny bed was in the left corner of the room, and next to the desk was another desk, but it had test tubes, petri dishes, syringes, and gloves on it.
