I'm Talia Spark twenty-two years old and well my life is hectic to say the least my parents are separated I live with my mother and little sister Ann both of my parents hate me but only play like loving parents in front of others since I can remember my sister was the only one who care about me and I care for her deeply in my last year in high school I got a job at first I thought it was just some tech stuff, but it was actually a mafia I was working for my boss at the time was a very lovely woman name Jennifer Blackthorn but her son Lucas who was twenty-three at the time of my hiring didn't want her to hire me at the time I didn't understand why but after two years I figure out why, but it was too late I was already deep in, and it was either stay or leave, and die and I didn't want to leave my sister alone, so I stay, but Lucas wasn't happy he wanted me dead from the moment he saw me for some unknown reason well as the years goes by I finish school and Jennifer retired when I was twenty and Lucas took over, and I became his assistant although both of us didn't like it, but his mother insisted , and we just did it,but that didn't stop us from throwing insult at each other or making each other life hard and he came up with a stupid nickname for me saying my name was too hard to remember so he call me baby girl ,but I couldn't do anything since he had the upper hand since he's in charge he's tall, ten out of ten handsome, always wear a mask that cover from his nose to his chin, have glasses, the darkest red eyes I ever seen, had piercings on his ears, was very cruel heartless you can say he only care about a very few people which include his twin brother Tyler ,sister Lana, his parents and his four closet friends Xander, Simon, Jason and snow and he made it clear that anyone hurt anyone he cared about, get in his way or irritated him he won't hesitate to get rid of them because he wasn't as kind as his parents

This morning was hectic I woke up late my mother was out,, so I had to drop my sister off at college and then go into work I didn't see his car at the front so I thought he wasn't there, yet I rush to the office breathing a sigh of relief,but then I heard a voice behind me

"You're late baby girl." it was him Lucas Blackthorn the guy I wanted to burn in hell, but even the devil looks like he's afraid of him I turn and said "I know that and didn't I tell you to stop calling me that.

I could tell he was smirking under his mask and he said "I told your name is hard to remember and this is the twelve time this month do you like being unharmed or would you like to be punisheded. "

I roll my eyes and said "unless you can make my mother stop disappearing every few days with god know who I'll continue to be late pretty boy. "

He just sigh and curse under his breath and I went to my desk beginning my work.

Lucas POV

I'm Lucas Blackthorn twenty eight years old I'm the leader of the most dangerous mafia in Iceland it's a family dynamic ever since I was a child I was cold, reserves, only open up around people I really care about but I am a gentleman but when I was twenty three this girl entered my life and turn it upside down without even doing anything or knowing it Talia Spark the one girl that make it pass all my defences to my mind and heart without even knowing it but I don't let it show I tried to convince my mother to not hire her but she did so I always be rude or make snarky comments towards her or we both throw around slide remarks at each other but my obsession with her is very huge although I don't like to admit it since I met her I wanted her and I start to find out everything about her what she likes, dislikes, allergic to, her sicknesses, her family life, friends, who she cares about the most literally everything about her I even start calling her baby girl and everytime she tells me to stop I just say her name is too hard to remember but it isn't I could say it all day but I like calling her the nickname without she knowing why and since I took over the mafia my mother forced me to make her my assistant so it make it really hard to ignore the fact that I want her but I do my best to ignore it today she wasn't focusing.

I walk up behind her putting my hands on her shoulders and whisper in her ear "something wrong baby girl? you're not really focusing."

She swallow hard and I almost lose all my self control but I contain my desires while she said "it's none of your business and don't act like you care." That hurt but I can't blame her I haven't given her a reason to think I would care.

I sigh and said "I do when it concerns work now it's either you tell me or I find out. "

She sigh heavily I could literally feel how her body react when she's breathing because I didn't take my hands off her shoulders yet she just answered with "sorry that I wasn't focusing but my parents arranged a stupid marriage for me without even asking me if I wanted to marry someone. "

I froze my anger was boiling I just take my hand off her shoulders and said "take the rest of the day off." She nod and get her stuff and leave.

As soon as she's gone I lost my temper and threw my laptop against the wall I didn't able see her right now it's nothing against her I still see her as the most beautiful, lovely, sweet, innocent person ever but if I continued to see her sad face in that moment I might just kill her parents and that bastard that think he could have her I threw a bunch of other stuff at the walls and ground I know with the commotion in here all my employees would be on edge but I don't care at that moment I just want her to be happy and safe if she wanted that marriage I would be angry but accepted it because it was her decision but it wasn't and that what made me so angry I leave early and just tell Jason one out of my four closet friends to get someone to clean my office and I went home I needed to be out of there as I reach I slam the door behind me close and grab the whisky bottle and pour a a large glass and sit down on the couch processing my thoughts.

Talia POV

Since that day I told Lucas what was going on he was acting differently he doesn't make snarky comments anymore, doesn't have playful arguments with me, and he hardly calls me the nickname I wasn't sure why he started acting like that but as I was thinking my phone ring it was my sister when I pick up.

She said "hi sis can you come get me ?mom left me again." as she says that my blood started to boil I have told my mother multiple times not to leave my sister anyway and just go have fun

I sigh and said "I'm coming."I was about to leave work anyway

I arrive at her campus and she got in and said "please don't kill anyone? I was gripping the steering wheel tight and reply with "don't worry I'm not stupid to do that. "

As we arrived home no one was there, so we just took a shower and go to bed after a few hours I still couldn't sleep, and I knew Ann was already knock out cold, so I just went on my phone and I see a text from Lucas saying "don't go to work tomorrow baby girl come to my house I have something to tell you." I smile without realizing it seeing him use the nickname was really sweet, and I just replied "sure. "

After that I put away my phone and sleep like a panda the next morning I woke up take a shower and wear a black knee-length skirt with a white button-up top, hair in a braid and flats as I went downstairs I saw my mother and all the anger from last night and even longer come bubbling up, and I said "wow look who decided to return home. What? Realize you have two daughters or did the trash throw the trash out?"

She glares at me and said "How dare you? I'm your mother." I roll my eyes and said "no you're just one of the adults I shared DNA with and by morals got to take care of you and don't act like you care you left Ann at college yesterday for like the fifty time because one of your flings decided they wanted some fun. "

She gets up and slap me hard I wanted to fight back, but I just didn't for my sister sake and said "don't leave her again, or you won't ever see her or me again remember she's the reason I stick around. " She laughed in my face and said "I don't care I won't have to see you around here in three weeks the best thing your father ever did for me is sold you to his friend."

I was frozen I couldn't believe it they told me it was an arrangement not that they sold me I just grab my purse and leave before I kill that woman and then my father I had to reach Lucas anyway, and he doesn't like waiting.
