"There's this girl, and I'm drawn to her in ways I've never experienced before. I'm unsure if it's love, but one thing's certain - whenever sadness creeps in, or even on carefree days, her absence echoes within me. Separated by distance, she resides in a different state, and since I confessed my feelings, she's slowly drifted away, leaving me with a hollow ache."
"In the dream I had last night, she summoned me to her home through a time machine gadget - a small, mysterious device that transported me directly to her room when she recited a sequence of numbers. Her expression was subdued, neither sad nor happy, but her eyes betrayed a deep-seated fear. Just as I was about to envelop her in a tight hug, her mother entered the room, her presence sudden and unsettling.
"She didn't utter a word, nor did she shout or scold us. Instead, she silently ushered me to the living room, where her father and brother sat, accompanied by a man who might have been their neighbor. The atmosphere was heavy with unspoken tension; no one addressed me, asked my name, or posed any questions. I took the initiative to introduce myself, but the silence was oppressive.
"The mother figure disappeared into the kitchen, where she began preparing something for me. Her sister emerged, while the girl I adore remained in her room, sitting listlessly. The aunt's questions were sparse, limited to my address, which I provided. But just as I thought the silence might dissipate, her father summoned her mother, his voice low and urgent, and she hastily departed, leaving me feeling bewildered and uneasy."
"I followed her mother out of the kitchen, my heart drawing me back to the girl I adore. I sat beside her, aching to wrap my arms around her. But instead, she intertwined our fingers, her touch sending shivers down my spine.
"'You always get sad, don't you?' she whispered, her eyes locked on mine. 'Because I don't talk to you every day, or even when I do, it's never for long.' Her voice was laced with a mix of sadness and longing.
"I sensed a flicker of fear in her eyes, and my heart skipped a beat. She squeezed my hand, her grip tightening. 'I want to talk to you, to share everything with you, but circumstances never allow us more than a few fleeting moments. It's not fair that you're the one who's always hurt. That's why I brought you here – to see me, to feel me, to know that I'm real.'
"Her smile was tinged with melancholy as she picked up the gadget. She placed my hand on it, and began to recite the numbers once more – the digits of her credit card. But before she could finish, her father appeared at the doorway, and she hastily tried to conceal me. Panic set her voice racing as she sped through the numbers, desperate to..."

"She ushered me toward the window, her eyes pleading with me to escape. 'Run away,' she whispered urgently. Fear gripped my heart, but I tried to flee, managing to slip out of the room undetected. Yet, the terror in her eyes lingered, haunting me.
"Compelled by a sense of dread, I turned back and peered through the window. The scene that unfolded was horrific. Her father, his face twisted in a malevolent snarl, was stabbing her mother, sister, and her repeatedly. 'You bitches were born to destroy my reputation,' he spat, his knife rising and falling with deadly precision.
"As he stabbed the girl I love, I felt as though he was piercing my own soul. My legs trembled, and tears streamed down my face. I was paralyzed with horror, unable to move or intervene as he continued his brutal assault. She lay unconscious, yet he persisted, driven by a rage that seemed to know no bounds.
"Then, his gaze locked onto mine, and he began to walk toward the window, his eyes blazing with fury. But just as all hope seemed lost, she opened her eyes..."
"She grasped his leg, desperate to stop him from reaching me. But her father's transformation was terrifying. He became a raging animal, his eyes blazing with cruelty. He dragged her out of the house by her hair, descending the stairs with a ferocity that seemed almost inhuman.
"The stairs, which had seemed so daunting when I climbed them to reach her house, now seemed like an endless, nightmarish descent. He stabbed her repeatedly, his brutality unabated, even as a few passersby watched in eerie silence.
"My brother appeared, his eyes wide with horror as he took in the scene. He sprinted towards her father, determined to save her. But he was too late. With a final, gruesome act, her father severed her head from her body. Her lifeless form crumpled, her head rolling away from her torso.
"I was frozen in terror, my body trembling uncontrollably. The world around me seemed to dissolve into chaos. Then, her father's eyes locked onto mine, and he charged towards me.
"I jolted upright, my fingers tightening around the gadget she had given me. I began to recite the numbers, my voice shaking as I desperately sought to escape the horrors unfolding before me..."
"I began to chant the numbers, but my mind was a blank. I couldn't recall the sequence, no matter how hard I tried. In desperation, I started to recite any numbers that came to mind, but nothing seemed to work. The gadget remained inert, and he was closing in on me, his fingers mere inches from my hair.
"In a flash, I remembered the river flowing beneath the bridge where I stood. Without hesitation, I leapt off the edge, plunging into the icy waters below. The river's surface broke my fall, but the shock of the cold still took my breath away.
"As I struggled to resurface, I caught a glimpse of him standing on the bridge, his eyes blazing with fury. But I was safe, at least for the moment. The river's currents swept me away, carrying me downstream, farther and farther from the horrors I had witnessed..."

"As I swam with all my might, he leapt into the river, determined to catch me. But I had gained too much momentum, and the currents carried me far beyond his reach. Just as I thought I'd escaped, the gadget suddenly sprang to life, and I felt a strange sensation wash over me.
"When I opened my eyes, I found myself transported to a bygone era. The surroundings were unmistakable – the majestic pyramids, the Nile River flowing serenely in the distance, and the sweltering desert sun beating down relentlessly. I had traveled back in time to ancient Egypt, a land of pharaohs, mysticism, and forgotten lore."
"I carelessly roamed the ancient landscape, forgetting that the gadget was still clutched in my hand. With no one in sight, I could have easily chanted the numbers and returned home. But my curiosity got the better of me, and I wandered further.
"Suddenly, chaos erupted around me. People were running wildly, desperate to save their lives. It was as if monsters had descended upon the land, attacking humans with ferocity. The air was filled with screams and the clash of steel.
"I spotted one of the monsters charging towards me and took off in a sprint. I managed to evade its grasp and hid in a nearby alley, gasping for breath. The gadget still clutched in my hand, I tightened my grip and began to chant the numbers.
"Just as I was about to activate the device, a stranger appeared before me. He was older than me, with a wise glint in his eye. 'I too came here through a similar device,' he said, his voice filled with a sense of wonder.
"Relief washed over me, knowing that I was no longer alone. 'Let's get out of here,' I exclaimed, grasping his hand. Together, we began to chant the numbers once more.
"But our escape was short-lived. The monster that had chased me earlier appeared, accompanied by a snarling pack of its kin. They closed in on us, their eyes blazing with a hunger for blood..."
"The stranger pushed me away, urging me to flee while he took on the monsters. I tried to protest, suggesting we escape together, but he charged into battle without hesitation.
"I sprinted as fast as my legs could carry me, finally reaching a desolate, silent spot. Exhausted, I collapsed to the ground, the gadget slipping from my grasp. As I reached for it, I heard a noise and hastily hid, abandoning the device.
"I remained concealed for 20-30 minutes, but the silence was unbroken. Cautiously, I emerged, only to be met with a shocking sight. Next to where the gadget lay, an almira stood, and within it, a grotesque creature slumbered. Its body was serpentine, while its face was human-like, distorted by monstrous features.
"The creature's appearance was both disgusting and terrifying, its presence seeming to darken the air around it. A nest-like bowl cradled its body, as if it were some twisted, nightmarish egg..."
"I stood frozen in terror, yet somehow, I summoned the courage to approach the almira. My heart racing, I stretched out my hand to retrieve the gadget. Just as my fingers were about to close around it, the creature's eyes snapped open, their sudden brightness making me jump.
"Those eyes, a piercing yellow, locked onto mine, and I felt a chill run down my spine. The creature's gaze was hypnotic, yet repulsive, drawing me in with a morbid fascination. I was paralyzed, unable to move or look away, as the creature's gaze seemed to bore into my very soul..."
