Chapter 1: The Forgotten Letter
Amelia Grey had always believed that the past should stay where it belonged—buried under dust and time. But when an old letter, yellowed with age, arrived in her mailbox with no return address, she felt a cold shiver run down her spine.
The letter was addressed to her great-grandmother, Eleanor Grey, and dated 1925. Yet, the postmark read 2025—exactly one hundred years later.
Curious and unsettled, Amelia tore it open.
"Eleanor,
If you are reading this, then our time has not been in vain. He is coming back. You must warn them before it is too late. Trust no one.
— S."
Who was "S"? And who was coming back?
Amelia had always known her family had secrets, but this letter made her realize she was standing at the edge of something far bigger than herself.
Chapter 2: Shadows in the Mirror
That night, as rain lashed against the windows of her small apartment in Boston, Amelia couldn’t shake the feeling that someone was watching her.
She glanced at the old mirror in her hallway—a family heirloom passed down for generations. The glass shimmered strangely, as if the reflection were a second too slow.
Then, for just a moment, she saw something behind her. A shadow. A figure in an old-fashioned suit
When she spun around, there was nothing there. But the mirror? The mirror was still fogged up with the faint imprint of a handprint.
Chapter 3: The Man Who Never Died
Determined to understand the truth, Amelia dug through the attic of her childhood home, searching for any link to "S" or the warning in the letter.
Among dusty trunks and moth-eaten books, she found a journal—Eleanor Grey’s diary.
One entry, dated June 12, 1925, stood out:
"Today, I met him again. The man who does not age. The one who calls himself Solomon Graves. He told me that time is not what we think it is—that some people live outside of it. He said I would see him again in a hundred years… and that I should prepare my family for what’s to come."
Amelia’s heart pounded. Was Solomon Graves still alive?
And more importantly—was he coming for her?
Chapter 4: The Clock Strikes Midnight
The next night, as Amelia sat in her dimly lit apartment, the old grandfather clock in the hallway struck midnight—even though it hadn’t worked in years.
A voice whispered from the darkness.
"You found the letter."
She turned slowly. Standing by the mirror was a man in an old-fashioned suit. His eyes gleamed with an unnatural light.
"I’ve been waiting for you, Amelia
Here’s an image of Solomon Graves, the mysterious man who seems to exist outside of time. His glowing eyes and delayed reflection in the mirror add to the eerie atmosphere.
## **Chapter 5: The Man in the Mirror**
Amelia’s breath caught in her throat. The man standing before her looked exactly as Eleanor had described in her journal—down to the crisp, old-fashioned suit and the unsettling gleam in his eyes.
*"Who are you?"* she whispered, backing away.
Solomon Graves tilted his head slightly, his gaze never leaving hers.
*"You already know, Amelia. You’ve known since the moment you touched that letter."*
The air around him shimmered like heat rising from pavement. His reflection in the mirror moved a half-second slower, as though reality itself struggled to keep up with him.
Amelia’s mind raced. Was he a ghost? A hallucination? Or something much worse—something that didn’t belong in this time at all?
Outside, the rain poured harder. The grandfather clock let out a deep, echoing chime, and Solomon took a step forward.
*"The past is not done with you yet,"* he said, his voice a whisper of wind and time.
And then—**the lights went out.**
