It was pitch black as if nothing existed there, there is no passage of time, it felt as if it was infinite and devoid of everything. It's like a room but not a room at the same time. Roger was in the middle of this endless darkness.

Roger was shocked as he gulped back the saliva slowly. He doesn't know how he got in here but one thing was for sure and that was his death. He looked around to observe but no matter where his gaze locked on..he could only see pitch black. If one were to be put here, he would go insane because there is absolutely nothing here and it felt endless with no passage of time.

But one thing was for sure, this isn't Earth. After hesitating for a bit, he decided to take a walk, at least it's better than nothing.

Time passed by...

Roger could no longer hold it. He felt like to scream his guts out because there was absolutely nothing there. It was as if he alone existed in a place but not a place at the same time. He gritted his teeth and slapped both of his cheeks before finally asking

"Hey? Anyone here?"

As his voice echoed around the seemingly endless place, he heard a snort within his mind which was as clear as day yet loud. His entire figure started trembling upon hearing this voice.

it was simple yet filled with a majestic aura. If one were to hear it, they would feel an urge to kneel down before this presence.

Confusion appeared in his eyes and at the same time, he wore a shocked expression as his whole figure shuddered before this majestic aura. It felt like it existed but at the same, it did not. It came out of nowhere. But after pondering for a while, he beat it to the bush and finally decided to ask.

"Where am I? Aren't I suppose to be dead?"

At that time, a shocking event took place. He couldn't help but fear as he opened his mouth in shock.

"Senior, I...

"Be quiet".

At that moment, his entire figure trembled as his eyes started glowing. It was as if his eyes could see through everything and contained the principles of the universe. His entire body was filled with a strange energy.

He couldn't help but think back to the moment he heard the voice. It was seemingly the voice of a male but also a female at the same time. Everything that happened here toppled over his understanding.

"I'm the Azure Violet Grand Exalt of the Spirit Realm. There is no need for any formalities. It's your honor to meet me. Countless Immortals sought after a mere glimpse of my appearance."

After a slight hesitation, Roger asked

"Senior, my name is Roger. I don't quite understand what you're saying."

"Hmph. Of course, you wouldn't!"

As soon as the voice came to an end, his figure went into a deep slumber. He began to understand about the Azure Violet Grand Exalt. In other words, it was fate that allowed him to meet this existence that was beyond an Immortal. However, what he didn't know was that the Azure Violet Grand Exalt hid everything except its identity as an existence that reached beyond Immortality.

After a few hours, Roger woke up and heard the voice once again

"You finally woke up. It is as you've seen, I'm heavily Injured and I lost almost all my energy. As a result, I descended and became what is known as a spirit. Right now, you can be considered lucky because once a spirit possesses a dead body, it would no longer be dead but have the chance to come back."

Roger was shocked...

But..one thing he didn't know was that the Senior inside him hid the fact that it didn't possess him because it couldn't and resulted in a failure. It was as if his existence resisted the invader.

Azure Violet Exalt muttered to itself...

"This is impossible...It has to be a mistake. This has never happened according to my knowledge. Why did I fail to devour his soul?"

After pondering for a while, Azure Violet Exalt transformed into an ethereal figure that seemingly looked like a female before Roger but Roger couldn't see her properly as she was "ethereal". In other words, It is impossible to actually see her unless she wants to reveal it herself. Roger didn't pay this any mind but what made him even more shocked was the fact that a presence like this would get injured.

Thinking about this, he couldn't help but shiver and sweat profoundly before the voice snapped him out of it

"I won't talk much, whether you live or die is none of my concern. But once I go back to slumber, you'll probably appear in the Saints' Realm. You don't need to know anything else other than that the realm is a world for cultivators."

As soon as she finished, she flicked her finger against his forehead under the shocked gaze of Roger and at that moment he felt like his mind was going to collapse as countless information passed through it.

The Saints' Realm is one of the six worlds. In other words, cultivation was of priority here. It seemed like an ancient world. But one thing was for sure, he wasn't going to the Saints' World but to a lower planet called Tian Yun.

As he slowly digested everything that had happened and stabilized himself, he opened his eyes and stared at his surroundings. He was no longer in that endless darkness and the senior seemingly vanished into thin air.

He was lying in a forest with his eyes open. He slowly got up and instantly knew that his current situation wasn't good. From his memory, his name was Cai and he came to the forests to accompany his sister. His main priority wasn't to fight or cultivate but gather information. As soon as he got up, he heard an icy voice beside him.

"Cai, I have got what I need. Let's go back to the village." A figure with a cold voice emerged from the dense forest before his vision.
