The day I got sent to this place..I was 14 years old
This wasn’t the home I knew and remembered
I wasn’t sure who anyone was but I was told I would be staying in the prince’s castle till they found me a home
And which..it is not what I wanted to stay in..
I looked up to see a girl her name is Ashly I’m not close to her but she is always right next to the Prince

“Stop zoning out and which River and Connor fight”

Ashly
“Well it’s better than what you’re doing”

Connor (ml friend)
“River what the hell was that? A fire ball or something? You could have fucking killed me”
I watched as Ashly got up and ran to Rivers side to hug him and make sure he was okay

Connor walks up to her bending down to grab the note book

*he reads it out loud* “i was sent to this place for safety but I don’t see why I would be”

*he laughs and uses a fireball and burns it*
Ruby stands there not knowing what to do

“That’s what you get for not being able to use powers against him”
Ruby (fl)
*she looks at the three river..Connor and Ashly*
You could say this was the first time she would ever call a prince cruel

“I can’t believe you can’t use powers you ordinary”

☁️: “why is he just looking at me..why is he not doing anything isn’t he going to be king one day”
Connor (ml friend)
“Come on let’s go guys this is getting boring if she doesn’t talk”
Ashly
“Let’s go get drunk what do you say River”
The three walks away leaving Ruby by herself

She was about to walk away when she heard someone yell her name

*he pants a little and puts his hand on her shoulder* “your back”

“Where were you??”

“ Missions something to do with the caves again”

“Yeah they found something in there..”

*he looks around and takes her hand taking her to the other side of the castle*

“No something that wasn’t here before..I mean it’s been 100 years since we seen this”
Ruby (fl)
“Kai I swear if you don’t tell me”

“You can’t be serious about this Kai”

“It’s here in the castle right now..”
Kai
“Rub I can’t do that you know that”

“I can try and get you to see the king, but I don’t think he’ll let you see it”

“You’re one of the most trusted people in this country..he will listen”
Kai
“I don’t think the king..anyway”
Ruby (fl)
“I need to see it..I really do Kai you know how long I have been waiting for one to arrive”

“Yes but it is for the Prince”
Ruby (fl)
“Well what if when it hatches it doesn’t go to the prince”

“Ruby you know that dragon blood runs in the royal family”
That’s when she got caught off and Ashly comes by
Kai
“Ashly aren’t you with the prince”
Ashly
“I am but I just wanted to say I’m happy your back” *she looks at ruby* “oh..your with her I see”
Ruby (fl)
“Well I was just leaving”
Ashly
“Oh great! Come on Kai the ball is tonight and everyone will be there”
