The Encounter
Sylvia Vincent, is one of the mysterious personalities in medieval Europe. Nobody had known anything about her except for her name.
Sylvia is currently at a royal ball full of people dressed in fancy clothes and masks. The lights in the grand hall shine, creating a magical atmosphere. It is a masked ball where people disguise themselves in elaborate costumes and masks, and the goal is to guess who is who. There are nobles engaging in small talks, servants carrying trays of delicious food and drinks, and musicians playing beautiful music from the balcony of the grand staircase.
She sees a noble boy walking towards her, his clothes are well-made. She guessed he probably is a noble from a rich family.
He bowed to her and said..

"May I have this dance?"
She accepts the invitation,, and Sylvia and the noble boy engaged in a dance. His dancing skills are impeccable and the dance is extremely romantic. She feels the noble boy's warm hands holding her waist and sees his blue eyes looking lovingly at her.

Who are you ? (she asked whispering in a low voice with curiosity)
Henry Blackwood
(The noble boy gave a small smile and whispered, his voice is quite charming), "I'm Henry, Henry Blackwood of house Blackwood. Pleasure to make your acquaintance, my lady."
She was amused to know his identity as he was renowned as a reserved and mysterious personality yet he himself invited her for a dance. His whole existence at a ball is a big surprise but so was hers....

The Introduction
As the dance starts to reach its climax Sylvia took this opportunity to create a sense of enigma around themselves...
Sylvia Vincent
She said in an amusing nonchalant whisper" Oh ! Hello! Nice to meet you Mr. Henry. I am Sylvia Vincent, daughter of Harlow Vincent, one of the courtesans of the king's palace."
Henry's eyes flicker in amusement for a millisecond getting to know about her identity and background, but soon he composes his expressions as if he had got something in his mind...
They both continue to dance.
Henry Blackwood
Henry has a flirtatious gleam in his eyes, "I must say, you are a remarkable dancer, Miss Vincent."
She was shocked for a moment after listening to his sudden remark of praise. She didn't expect it coming
Sylvia Vincent
"So is you" she said with a flirtatious smile under her mask, slightly visible. Her eyes grazing his attire with shine in her eyes
As they both continue dancing, Henry's eyes gaze appreciatively at Sylvia's costume. His voice is laced with charm as he speaks
Henry Blackwood
"Your dress is exquisite, Miss Vincent. It suits you like a glove."
Sylvia Vincent
" Ah thanks for the compliment Mr. Henry" She said with a proud nonchalant voice with a slight smile of appreciation
After the dance, they both stopped for a moment and start moving away from the ball stage still mingled in a conversation feeling a strange connection with each other
Henry Blackwood
"Your dance is graceful, Miss Vincent. I can feel the years of experience in your every move. It is simply mesmerising. Do you come here often?" A hint of curiosity lacing his voice.
Sylvia Vincent
" Thanks for flattering me Mr. Henry but I might disappoint you with the fact that this is my first time attending a ball" she said in a slow, sarcastic voice
Henry Blackwood
Henry's eyebrows raised in surprise, a charming grin spreading across his face, "Really? Your dancing skills could have fooled me. You danced like a seasoned noble, indeed." He seems genuinely impressed by her skill.
Sylvia Vincent
"Thank you so much for your praise Mr. Henry" she bowed to him in appreciation
As they both move forward to reach near the farthest corner of the hall, Henry stops her by his words ...
Henry Blackwood
Henry smiled, bowing towards her, "No, the pleasure is all mine, Miss Vincent. Would you mind if I keep you company for a while? There's something I would like to discuss with you." His voice is laced with a hint of mystery, making her curious.
