Part 1: A Glimpse of Fate
Guru stretched her arms as she walked through the park, enjoying the fresh morning breeze. The soft chirping of birds and the golden sunlight filtering through the trees made everything feel peaceful. She had come for a morning walk, completely unaware that someone’s intense gaze had been following her every move.
Mr. Jeon Jungkook, the cold yet dangerously handsome CEO of Jeon Enterprises, sat on a park bench, his sharp eyes fixed on the girl walking ahead of him. There was something about her. Her innocent face contrasted with the confident sway in her steps. It was unintentional, but it had already caught his attention.
He had never been the type to believe in fate. He was a man of control, of power. But when his eyes landed on her that morning, a strange feeling settled in his chest. Who was she? And why did she make his heart beat differently?
Before he could approach her, Guri’s phone rang, and she hurried off. Jungkook clenched his jaw, watching her leave. But he wasn’t the type to let things slip away. If fate wouldn’t bring her to him, he would bring fate to her.

Two Days Later – Guri’s College
Guri adjusted her dress as she stood with her friends, excited about the upcoming annual function at her college. “I heard a big businessman is sponsoring the event,” one of her friends whispered.
“I bet he’s some old, strict guy,” Guri joked, laughing.
Just then, the hall’s double doors opened, and a tall man in a black suit walked in. His aura screamed authority, and his sharp, intense eyes scanned the crowd before landing on her.
Guri’s breath hitched. Why did he feel so… familiar?
“Everyone, meet Mr. Jeon Jungkook, CEO of Jeon Enterprises, our event’s sponsor,” the principal announced.
Jungkook smirked slightly. So, her name was Guri. She had no idea that their paths had already crossed before. But he remembered. He remembered everything.
And now, he was going to make sure she stayed in his world.

Part 2: The Game Begins
Guri sat in the college auditorium, playing with the hem of her dress as she listened to the principal's speech. She wasn't particularly interested in the business talk, but the presence of Mr. Jeon Jungkook was impossible to ignore.
From the moment he walked in, the entire hall had gone silent, mesmerized by his aura. His sharp jawline, cold yet piercing eyes, and the way his suit hugged his broad shoulders made him stand out like a king among commoners.
Why does he feel so familiar? she wondered, biting her lip. She had never met him before… or so she thought.
“Miss Guri.”
She jolted out of her thoughts at the sound of her name. Looking up, she found Mr. Jeon staring directly at her. The intensity in his eyes sent an involuntary shiver down her spine.
“Yes…?” she asked hesitantly.
“I need to discuss something important with you. Follow me.” His voice was deep, authoritative—the kind that didn’t tolerate disobedience.
Guri hesitated. Why would a powerful businessman like him want to talk to her? She looked toward the principal, expecting him to intervene, but the older man simply nodded.
With no other choice, she followed Mr. Jeon out of the auditorium.
Outside, near the garden area…
Guri stood awkwardly as Mr. Jeon leaned against a pillar, his gaze fixed on her. The silence between them was unbearable, and she felt like a small rabbit trapped in the presence of a lion.
“You are a final-year student, correct?” he finally asked.
“Yes.”
“I read your profile. You have excellent academic records, and you are also quite active in college events,” he stated, as if he had memorized everything about her.
Guri blinked in confusion. “Why would you be interested in my profile?”
A small smirk formed on his lips. “Because I have an offer for you.”
Her heart skipped a beat. “Offer?”
“I need a personal assistant,” he said, his eyes never leaving hers. “And you are the perfect candidate.”
Guri’s eyes widened. Personal assistant? For the CEO of Jeon Enterprises?
“But why me? There are hundreds of qualified candidates—”
“I don’t like repeating myself, Miss Guri,” he interrupted smoothly, taking a step closer. “I choose my employees for a reason. And I want you.”
Her breath hitched at his words. There was something dangerously alluring about the way he spoke, like he was claiming her as his possession.
“I—I need time to think about it,” she stammered, stepping back.
“You have 24 hours,” he said, his voice deep and unwavering. “Make the right choice.”
As he walked away, Guri exhaled sharply. Why did it feel like she was stepping into something she wouldn’t be able to escape?

# A Deal with the Devil
Guri spent the entire night tossing and turning in bed. Personal assistant to Mr. Jeon Jungkook? The offer sounded unreal. Why her? Why not someone more experienced?
Her heart told her to refuse. He was too intimidating, too powerful, and too dangerously attractive. But her mind reminded her of the opportunity—working with the CEO of Jeon Enterprises could change her life.
By morning, her decision was made.

At Jeon Enterprises Headquarters
Guri stood nervously outside Mr. Jeon’s office. The entire building was intimidating—glass walls, sleek interiors, and employees moving efficiently like clockwork.
Taking a deep breath, she knocked on the heavy oak door.
“Come in.”
His voice was deep and commanding. She pushed the door open and stepped inside.
Mr. Jeon sat behind a massive desk, dressed in a crisp black suit. His sharp eyes flickered to her, and the corner of his lips curled slightly—**as
########
Guri stood in front of Jeon Enterprises’ towering skyscraper, her heart racing. She had barely slept, her mind filled with thoughts of him—his deep voice, intense gaze, and that cryptic text message.
Taking a deep breath, she stepped inside.
The lobby was grand, filled with busy employees who barely spared her a glance. She approached the reception, but before she could speak, a woman in a sleek black dress approached her.
“You must be Miss Guri,” she said, offering a polite yet forced smile. “I’m Mina, Mr. Jeon’s secretary. Follow me.”
Guri nodded and followed Mina to the executive floor. The moment they reached Mr. Jeon’s office, Mina turned to her.
“Just a warning,” she said, lowering her voice. “Mr. Jeon doesn’t tolerate mistakes. Do your job well, and don’t get too comfortable.”
Before Guri could respond, the large door swung open.
“Come in, Guri,” Mr. Jeon’s deep voice commanded.
Her stomach fluttered as she stepped inside.
############
The ride back to the office was silent, yet thick with tension. Guri stole a glance at Mr. Jeon, who sat beside her, his expression unreadable.
Lunch with him had left her unsettled—not because of the luxurious setting, but because of the way he watched her. Like he wanted to devour her.
As the car stopped in front of Jeon Enterprises, he finally spoke.
“From now on,” his deep voice filled the space, “you’ll have lunch with me every day.”
Guri blinked. “Excuse me?”
“I don’t like repeating myself.” His sharp eyes met hers.
Her heart raced. “But why?”
His lips curved into a smirk. “Because I said so.”
Her breath caught. What was she supposed to do with this man?

Back at the Office
Guri sat at her desk, trying to focus. But it was impossible when her boss was just behind the glass wall, his presence overwhelming even when she couldn’t see him.
A soft knock broke her thoughts.
“Miss Guri?” Mina, Mr. Jeon’s secretary, stood there with an all-too-fake smile.
“Yes?”
Mina stepped closer, crossing her arms. “I don’t know what game you’re playing, but don’t get too comfortable. You’re just a temporary amusement for him.”
Guri’s stomach twisted. “Excuse
#########
The car ride was silent, but the tension inside was undeniable. Mr. Jeon’s eyes flickered toward Guri every few moments, but she was lost in her own world, gazing out the window.
The city lights blurred as the car moved through the streets. A sudden gust of wind brushed through the slightly open window, making her hair dance. Guri’s eyes softened as she spotted a small flower shop on the sidewalk. A little girl stood in front of it, holding a tiny bouquet, her face lighting up with pure joy.
Guri smiled unknowingly, a warmth spreading in her chest.
Mr. Jeon, who had been watching her instead of the road, tightened his grip on the steering wheel.
“You like flowers?” His voice was deep, smooth, yet laced with curiosity.
Guri turned to him,
