The sun is shining in the clear sky. One of its rays touched my face, the sunlight was so bright that it started stinging my eyes,

which broke my sleep and I yawned, and opened my eyes in an unknown room, somehow I opened my eyes and then I felt as if someone was lying on the bed next to me, my eyes were not fully open yet, on top of that a man was lying next to me.

I was shocked and looked at him. That man seemed to be sleeping. Then I looked at myself, I was without clothes. "What the hell". Why am I without clothes? And a man with tanned skin is lying next to me.

That man was very handsome to look at, for a moment I kept looking at him, then as I stood up while controlling myself, my head was bursting with pain, I started remembering something vaguely, slowly the whole scene of the night came in front of my eyes.

Last night...

       today I am very sad, tears are not stopping from my eyes, my boyfriend whom I was dating for the last 3 years, was dating another girl of my college for the last 2 years and I did not even have a clue about this.

I kept trusting that boy with closed eyes. Everyone told me that boy is not good but I did not listen to anyone. For me whatever he used to say was the truth.  They say that love is blind but in his love, I became blind.

My friend kept telling me that this boy is not right for me but I did not listen to her, how could I listen when I loved Vivek so much.

But what did he do, he cheated me along with Shruti. I was crazy that I believed his lies to be true and Shruti who was acting as my friend in front of everyone in the class, she and Vivek cheated me behind my back. Today I saw them with my own eyes breaking my trust.

Today I caught both of them red handed but they did not know that there was someone else in the room besides them, I saw everything with my own eyes, heard their conversation.

Shruti said "Vivek do you love anyone more me or Riya".

Vivek said smilingly *Of course Riya is nothing in comparison to you, I felt pity for her so I was with her.  I love you and not Riya, so you should not worry that I will leave you" and both of them started laughing loudly.

I was so angry that I was not able to understand anything, I went wherever my path took me, when I regained my composure, I was standing in front of a pub and went inside without thinking anything.

I went inside and went straight to the bar counter and ordered drinks. I don't know how many drinks I had. I saw a handsome guy on the other side of the bar counter. I couldn't see his face, probably because of drinking too much. But I went to him and said, "You are very handsome. Would you like to spend some time with me?"

He stared at me and said, "I am not interested in young girls like you."

I was a young girl, but I calmed down my anger and said, "How can you say that without trying?"

He looked at me from top to bottom and said, "Whatever happens now, remember that you started it." That night we were completely lost in each other.

Present Day

Riya, you are crazy, how can you sleep with any unknown boy like this, before he wakes up and says something, run away from here or else you will get into a very bad situation. I wore my clothes and ran away from there, but I am having severe pain in my back, I was quite late so I went straight to college, I reached college with great difficulty, as soon as I entered the gate, someone put a hand on my shoulder from behind.

As soon as I looked back, it was my friend Reet. I hugged her. She didn't say anything for a while. Then she said, "Riya, where were you last night? I have been trying to call you since so long. Do you know how scared I was?"

"I am so sorry yaar. I was at the pub last night." Saying this, I told Reet everything about how Vivek and Shruti were cheating together. But I didn't tell her anything about me and that boy.

After listening to everything I said, Reet got very angry. Today she had all my share of anger too. Maybe that's why we are best friends, they make all our pain and sorrow their own.

"Oh my mother, calm down, we are already very late and if we get late then that uncle will make me stand outside the class", "Anyway his classes are very boring" said Reet, but somehow I took her inside with me.

After going inside, Reet went to take her class and I came out of my class. To see how the class which was always noisy was so silent today, I looked through the glass on the class gate and saw a handsome teacher taking attendance. His back was towards the gate so I couldn't see his face.

And I started looking at him, "yaar he is so handsome", meanwhile his face turned towards me, looking at him my eyes remained wide open and I was left breathless, "he...what is he doing here" he was the same person with whom I was last night and how did he reach here so quickly,

Wait a minute, I was with my teacher last night.

"God, for what mistake are you punishing me? First I have had a breakup and on top of that I have spent the night with a stranger and he is a teacher in my class in my college. What could be worse than this?"

I was thinking about all this outside the class when the teacher called out my roll number but I was so lost in my thoughts that I did not pay attention.

The teacher called out 2-3 times but I did not hear, the whole class suddenly became silent. By the time I came out of my thought world someone called out my name loudly.

"Riya Malhotra". When someone called out my name again I looked at him for a moment, it was the teacher.

I quickly hid my face with my bag and went into the class. I was thinking that he might say something to me today. While hiding my face I spoke"yes sir"

I covered my whole face so that he could not see my face. He looked at me for a moment and then looked at the clock.

He glared at me and said, "You are 15 minutes late. Go and stand outside the class." "But Sir, I am only 2 minutes late." I looked at him and said, "Sh*t, he saw my face."

In order to talk to him I moved my bag and our eyes met. But he did not react and gestured me to go out.

I looked at him once again and by then he was again busy with his book. I thought in my mind "when it does not matter to him then why should I hide my face. I have not done any mistake. Yes I admit I did make a mistake...last night."

As soon as I remembered that night my cheeks turned red with shame and I quietly came out of the class and again started thinking in my mind...

He did not listen to me and made me stand outside the class. I abused him a lot but I just came out with an angry face."

I could not have done anything else, my teacher was in front of me. I went outside and stood with my head down and was lost in my own thoughts.

It had been just 5 minutes since I had started standing outside when I heard someone's voice, "Why are you standing outside, has the teacher thrown you out? Come, let the three of us sit together in the cafeteria and talk."

I looked up and it was Shruti with Vivek. I started laughing after seeing them. "Should I stand outside or go inside, it is none of your business."

"You cannot talk to Shruti like this. She considers you her friend and that is why she told you this."

There is a limit to shamelessness, friend. If you considered me a friend, you wouldn't have had an affair with my boyfriend, and wouldn't have slept with him, wouldn't have cheated on me.

You know the meaning of friend and anyway I have nothing to do with both of you, so get lost." Shruti left from there crying and Vivek followed her, staring at me.

After they both left, I lowered my head, but I don't know why my tears are not stopping. I can't see anything. Everything has become blurry.

I did not know that at that time two eyes were watching me, they were my teacher Mr. Aditya Khurana. He stood there and listened to everything and when the class ended, while going out Aditya Sir said to me "In my office"

"Ok" was all I could say with a choked throat.

After a while, calming myself down, I went straight to Aditya Sir's desk in the staff room but there was no one there. Even after looking around for a long time, when I did not see anyone, I looked at his desk, there was just a box on which my name was written, I picked up that box and came out from there and walked towards my classroom.

I was thinking in my mind that why did Sir give me this box, and was going ahead without looking at it.

But after going a little further, due to collision with a boy, that box opened and a pregnancy test kit fell down, seeing that I also got shocked that test kit.

but why is Sir giving it to me.before I could pick up that box. a crowd gathered there and everyone started staring at me in a very dirty manner.

Shruti was standing behind in the crowd and so was Vivek, both had a different smile on their faces.Both of them were laughing as if they had achieved something great.

I understood that the push I got was intentional and I also found out who had pushed me or should I say got me killed. I did not understand anything. I just sat there with my head down and everyone's voice started coming to my ears.

"What is all this? and what is she doing with it? Why did she need all this?What has happened that all this is happening?"

Just then I heard the teacher's voice from behind

"There is some drama going on here which everyone is watching, go to your classes now"

Everybody left from there but the way everyone looked at me changed, I couldn't understand anything and I started crying while sitting there.

Sir extended his hand, maybe he wanted to help me get up but now I didn't have the courage to look at Sir and ignoring his hand I ran away from there.

And I stopped in the corridor, then someone's hand came on my shoulder, for a moment I felt that  sir has followed me till here, as soon as I looked back to say something.

it was Reet, looking at me like this she was asking again and again what happened.

But no sound was coming out of my throat.somehow I looked at her and told her everything.

anger was clearly visible in Reet's eyes.after being angry for a long time.Reet said, "What do those two think of themselves.they can't behave themself .everyone is right.a bitch is a good match for a dog"

Let's leave them both in the library, let's sit there quietly for some time and then today you have to go and meet your friend too, right?" Reet said.

"Yes friend, I have to go, it's been a long time since I met Sanam."

Sanam is my school friend, today after 2 years he has come back and has invited me to meet him, Sanam is more of a brother to me than a friend, I don't have a brother but with him I never felt the lack of a brother. He has supported me at every step.

In the evening I got ready to meet Sanam and reached the mall.

he was already waiting for me there. I did not realise the time while talking to him. it was night already.I quickly said bye to Sanam.

he asked me to drop me to my hostel.but I refused, and somehow I reached the hostel.

but the warden had closed the gate and she herself started watching TV comfortably.

She got so engrossed in watching TV that she did not even realise that someone was calling her.

I called him a lot but he didn't listen to me. Tired and exhausted, I sat outside the hostel. Then a shadow came near me. When I looked up, it was Aditya Sir.

I thought in my mind that he has nothing to do. He comes wherever I go. Two voices came from inside me. One voice said, "Are they following me? Are they planning to kidnap me and sell me somewhere?"

Then another voice came, "What will they earn by selling me, but they must have made some deal with someone, or someone must have paid them to kidnap me".

In my imagination, Sir appeared in the form of a wolf and I in front of him in the form of a rabbit, who is very scared, and the wolf is ready to pick her up and take her away. On one side, there is a frying pan under which there is fire. And they want to pick me up and take me there.

I slapped my forehead gently and pushed away all the thoughts that were coming to my mind. And told myself that this is not a story, all this will happen, I think I have started reading too many stories these days. It is affecting me.

But a man can do anything, I will have to ask for help from Sir now, there is no other option. He should just help me now. Thinking this much, I slowly started walking towards Sir.

And she slowly went to the sir and said

"Sir, I need your help""No" "But I haven't said anything yet""You just want me to talk to your warden and he will let you in""Yes sir, I only need your help""You should have thought about this before meeting a boy"

As soon as I said this, a thought came to my mind that how did Sir know? So I asked Sir "were you following me?" "No, I just saw you in the mall by coincidence"

I thought in my mind that there are not many coincidences happening with Sir. Then a thought came that everyone goes to the mall. I cannot stop anyone from going anywhere like this.

And it could be a coincidence.

"Ok""But please help me sir""I can't do this, but you can come with me""Where?""You are reacting as if you have never gone anywhere with me"

Hearing this from sir, I said with confidence, "Yes, so when have I ever gone anywhere with you?"

As soon as I said this, sir started staring at me, when I came back to my senses, I realized what I had said.

My cheeks turned red with shame, I started looking here and there. But whenever I looked at sir, his eyes were staring at me, and I was just trying to avoid his gaze.

I don't know why as soon as Sir said this, all the things of that night started going around in my mind. And now it became difficult for me to even look at Sir. Then I heard a sound as if someone had laughed just now. But when I looked at Mane Sir, he was standing in the same stiff posture.

Then who laughed?

Maybe it was just a misconception of mine. And there Sir turned his face away once. Then back towards me, and said in his arrogant way "Do you remember anything?"

Hearing this from him, I suddenly got nervous and said in a faltering voice "But... then... then... the matter... was... something else."

Sir softened a little and leaned forward towards me and said, "Okay, what happened then?"

I moved back a little and said, "Then... I had been drinking then."

Sir came forward a little and was just a little distance away from my ear, then he said, "But now you are in your senses, right?"

As soon as Sir's hot breath touched my ears...my ears became red with shame."Hmmm""So now either come with me or stay here, choice is yours"

After listening to him, I stopped for a while and said

"I am leaving""Good, now let's go"

Saying this I followed Sir, on reaching the car Sir opened the door for me, I was unaware of this aspect of Sir, and was just looking at him. A thought came to my mind that this man knows how to do all this, wow! I did not expect anything like this from him. But at least it is good.

He has some understanding of things. When I was standing there for a long time then Sir called me.

Riya"

"Yes"

"Sit"

"Hmm"

"You are just looking at the car, hurry up, we have to go too"

"You idiot"

I said softly.

"Did you say something?"

"Yes!, I don't mean it"

"Okay"

Saying this, I sat in his car with Sir and left. After going a little further, I asked him again but he didn't say anything and kept driving. After a while, the car stopped in front of a house. Sir signaled me to go inside. I followed him.

While walking, my eyes fell on that house. That house was very beautiful. Like a king's palace. Then I went inside his house.

It was a very big house inside, meaning it was big from outside, but it was even more luxurious from inside. Its shine was different. It dazzled the eyes.
