Asra of course is not only my boss but he took me in when I was a young girl I never new my parents ever since he took me in he became the first friend I had. “Come on kaliope it’s the new year you turned 21 a couple of weeks ago you only live once so get up and come on.” Portia said draggingng me out of bed and down stairs which led to the shop asra owns. “Where are we even going Portia.” I asked looking at her while still in my pajamas. “Mazelinka is cooking breakfast for everyone and after me you and Nadia are going shopping.” Portia said excitedly. “Ok jeez just hold on let me get dressed.” I said walking back upstairs to change. I came back down stairs in a tyedye Shaw a gray cropped tank top some camouflage jeans and some gray heels and my Viking braids in a messy bun with my bangs out. “Ok let’s go.” I said as we left to Portia’s house. Once we got into the house everyone’s was happy to see me because well that’s the thing this whole year that just past I ghosted and didn’t talk to anyone.
