Gabriela Antonella (GABY)

Gaby, as she likes to be called... was orphaned when her parents died violently in a car accident... in the early morning, they were drunk, and along with her sister Lilith, who was the same age as Gaby—they were only a few months apart in age.

Her mother always said she got pregnant with Lilith when Gaby was only 6 months old.

But her luck changed when she was adopted at 13 by a wonderful couple... But unfortunately, her adoptive father died a week after adopting her...

He died in a car accident coming home from work... She didn't even have time to get to know her adoptive father properly... But in that short time, he was a better father than her own biological father...

And her adoptive mother, even while grieving, continued to treat her the way she deserved... as a daughter, with love and affection...

Barbara Bennet, her adoptive mother, already had a daughter the same age as Gaby... they became best friends...

Barbara is a great woman and a great mother... after her late husband died, she, Gaby, and Ruby became very close... and became friends...

They are open and talk about everything; no one hides anything from anyone... She works a lot at her small law firm.

She has many clients... and she is good at what she does... she has never lost a case... except for Gaby's case... it was the first one she lost because the jerk of the other client, who was her boss, bribed the judge; the three of them, Gaby, Ruby, and her, were almost arrested because we made a scene in court in front of the judge and everyone, but it was no use.

Ruby Bennet

Ruby is 24 years old, and she has her late father's eyes... and she works as an event producer; she has already traveled to several countries... more than Gaby...

Ruby always offers to help her sister with money... but she doesn't accept it... And she has invited Gaby to travel with her many times...

But she doesn't accept, that strong-willed woman.

She and Gaby are very close, and when their mother joins them... the three of them become a hurricane... and most importantly, they are sincere with each other.

Present day


Gaby, through it all, looking for a job... but because of that son of a bitch, my ex-boss... I can't find anything anywhere; he completely tarnished my name...

And I lost my job as a secretary, left with nothing but the clothes on my back, and lost my dignity to walk with my head held high in this city...

I arrived home tired from handing out so many resumes and went to my room since my mother was working and RUBY too, and she probably wouldn't be back until night...

I took a shower and got my laptop. I couldn't stand being unemployed for almost three months anymore, so I went a bit crazy and applied for several job openings in different countries, in different companies. It doesn't hurt to try, since I already have the 'no.'

I applied for several positions: cleaner... babysitter... waitress... secretary... among many others. I spent hours sending resumes... and when my fingers couldn't type anymore... I decided to make dinner because it was almost time for my mom and Ruby to arrive.

After Barbara adopted me, she decided to keep my last name, and my life became calmer and happier. They are everything to me... I do anything for them.

And one of my favorite hobbies is cooking... my special gift, if I may say so...

But my true passion is fighting and racing. I'm addicted to the adrenaline of being behind a wheel and racing aimlessly... I've already won some illegal races here in Italy, but my mother forbade me... If I went back to racing in illegal races, she would ground me for the rest of my life.

After an hour, I finish dinner... they arrive, all smiles.

BARBARA BENETTI – Hello, daughter, how was your day? Did you get anything?

GABRIELA ANTONELLA – Not yet, Mom... but I'll try again tomorrow... Hope is the last thing to die...

RUBY BENETTI – Don't worry, sister, everything will work out, you'll see... What a wonderful smell... You could open a restaurant, you cook so well.

And the salary wasn't so bad... A little less than my old job.

The company is in Greece...

And I've never traveled. I informed the HR director, Soo-jin Hwang, of this, and she told me it wasn't a problem because the company would pay for my trip, and if possible, I would start on Monday, in 4 days...

I was to give my confirmation later because I have to talk to my mother and sister first about what they think.
